I bought nothing yesterday. I am not going to spend a bunch of money on shipping. Back when the Q had their craft days, I stopped buying from them for the same reason. I heard them say they didn’t have that shipping deal but they had 5 flex pay. Big deal! We are still paying for it in full, no matter how far out the money is stretched. And their sales were not that great, if you ask me. $3 off for a one day only sounds more like QVC’s idea of a sale!
Anna Griffin has some things that are exclusive to HSN but not all of her products are exclusive to them. She sells pretty much everywhere, including her own website. Do a little searching, you will find her items in other places.
HSN was my go to place for crafts but if this is how they are going to be, that is going to change.
I didn’t wait for an invoice. looked at my shopping cart and saw what they were going to charge me. Then I deleted all but two items in my cart. The two I kept had $3.50 shipping. Somehow I knew this was coming. Since QVC has bought HSN, HSN is no longer a good place to shop. My only uncertainty is whether QVC is deliberately trying to bankrupt HSN or if the execs really are that inept.
I bought the original Explore on HSN when it first came out. I linked all of cartridges to my account. I only subscribed to Access last year because they were adding so much to it. For me it’s worth it. I used to buy physical cartridges because I liked only a couple of images on it. With Access I don’t do that anymore. If I decide I don’t want to pay for it anymore I can stop. I still have all of the cartridges I bought and linked. Tons of svgs. Cricut always has a lot of free images to use.
Customer service can help you link physical cartridges to your account so you can use them in Design Space with the Joy, Explore, Maker etc.
Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI’m seeing a few posts on HSN Facebook about people calling customer service today and getting a refund on shipping on craft items from yesterday. While that is great for customers who purchased yesterday, a lot of people emptied their carts when they saw the shipping charges. What good does a refund on shipping do them. Craft day is over. Special pricing gone. If you ordered yesterday it would be worth a try to get a refund, but for most disappointed crafters it seems to me too little and too late. Happy Crafting Everyone (with what you have, cause yesterday was a bust for most).

If you want a real wake up call get your invoices out from the last craft day and compare them to the orders you just placed from this craft day under “order status” and then the “order number”. It’s right there in black and white the exorbitant increase in taxes AND shipping. There was even a “shipping savings” column on the last one. It made me a sick looking at what they just did to us. Especially for the customers that did not and have not yet, caught it. Off to Create & Craft – Dish channel 221. Take care everybody!

This is the last items I will buy from HSN. It was fun while it lasted. I couldn’t cancel, because my order went to “packaging” right away (has been there for the entire craft day as I ordered right after midnight) I honestly, didn’t see the 10 dollar shipping charge for two items. When I figured that out, it was too late to cancel. What also dissapointed me is the sales tactics. They went to we are sold out on the joy bundles, to we found a few more, then sold out again and now, they have more in stock, but more expensive. So that’s it for me. It’s a matter of principle. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I’m so dumb!! I spent $28 on shipping!! 😠 If this is the new shipping policy, I will also stop shopping on craft day!! Too bad because I love my HSN crafts and craft day!! As I data analyst, it would be interesting to know if the reduced sales and increased shipping costs netted HSN a wider profit margin!!
Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI have never been so disappointed or shocked at a company as big as HSN to do what they did yesterday, Tuesday, craft day. To abruptly with no reason , although they don’t have to give a reason, not give the all inclusive one charge shipping for the day. That perk alone was worth millions in advertising as I’m sure HSN knows. Many crafters wait and might I add shop monthly, regularly, in anticipation of these craft days. HSN needs to be made aware of , that crafters spend ( many on impulse) more much more because of that one shipping charge. Like myself I bought only what I really wanted and that was in protest. I have and do shop a lot on HSN but now I will wait for a coupon or free shipping . Every thing comes from China so that was probably a part of their reasoning but it would have been big of them to address that before the craft day. I also believe many vendors were caught unaware and they probably suffered the most, especially Anna Griffin as she sells exclusive to HSN, maybe she won’t be so exclusive in the future.HSN needs to pay attention to PR, take a loss in shipping and keep your customers happy and repeated shoppers. I apologize for this long vent but worth it if HSN gets our message,

I’m sorry bat wings are just not for a lot of us …can you please make some fashion without wings in your tops and not boxes so we don’t favor SPONGEBOB as in longer boyfriend style… loose fit with length solid and quarter length sleeves no Iron and linen classic colors and No Pleats basic. I always hear you say… if we have any suggestions let you hear it. I see these in Chicos and they look very nice sizes are not always available.Thanks,HSN,Marla W.
Bought one CC Auto Ship item and additional item, but when I realized no $5 cartload shipping I decided not to buy anything else from Anna Griffin and Diamond Press. So, 3 items purchased instead of the potential 13 I planned to buy. What I would have spent, easily qualifies me for free shipping if I buy directly from source websites (which may also have good sale price). Also, many items from Craft Day weren’t even at a discount to HSN price. Lately HSN’s shipping methods have been VERY slow to reach me. Went to bed instead of watching night and day as I normally do. I will not tune in for future craft days except to find what I want and then buy it direct from source online.

If I want anything from CC I just go to their US sight, I do love the big bundles, but I would never use all that stuff and only make a few things here and there. I did buy the “Enchanted Forest” set on HSN and us the fairies all the time. I usually buy from Amazon, which I have prime, and either get it the next day or two days later, depends on the local warehouse. I also buy paper from a large scrapbooking company which has everything. I agree HSN’s shipping is way more than most places, and for that amount of money it should be free.

I personally only wear Democracy have for awhile last 7 years.I hope HSN gets better selection than aired tops are hit or miss the colors are so busy. I only get solids now and without a circle in the back cut out for us older with quarter length sleeve and longer in length fabric is soft and wash well also can’t say this for a lot of tops on HSN. Thought when Qvc bought HSN the constant talking by hosts over the presenter would settle down. Nothing has changed. Qvc has taught them nothing.
