It is over 90 with high humidity and an UV warning thrown in. It didn’t rain yesterday and not sure about today. Monday was over 80% chances for rain during the week. Now it’s down to 20%. Guess the drought will continue.
I stayed home yesterday and made a dent. No falling. Back to the kitchen when I return home. Have bags out for garbage and now working on the recycle. Never a dull moment.
I am still reflecting on Carole Brodie’s statement. I think she reflected on what all of us have been saying for monrths. Only, she said it better. I have no idea what the future will be for both HSN and QVC doen the road. Not sure if it will be better. But with the prices going higher due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control at this point, not sure what tomorrow will bring. Only time will tell. Seeing the coupon for 20% off of $1 or more made me feel that this was their
beginning of a “going out of business sale.” Of course, many customers could not use this coupon due to the website being down most of the day. I was one of them. “Access Denied” at
every turn.It is a sunny day here, just to change the dismal statements. I hope you three and all the animals have a great day. Stay cool and walk between the raindrops.

Sheba, Thanks for the news of Carol Brodie retiring. 17 Years on HSN is a long time! Hope she enjoys her retirement. I know I am very happy in my retirement (went early). And just maybe we’ll see some good sales ( but i’m not buying anymore jewelry, right? lol)
The Heidi Daus Paw pins look fun!
Today I had a stone in a link bracelet pop out. Luckily I found it and was able to put it back into the setting.
We’re at 67 and cloudy. I kept the door closed again today so the mosquitoes can’t get inside.
That won’t last long because I like all the screen doors open.
Enjoy the critters and the Moon tonight!

I am doing much needed laundry. Decided to tackle some house chores and to get things ready for garbage pickup and recycle. Will see hubs tomorrow. I did try to purchase and to see what what on HSN only to find their website was doing crazy things. Also surprised that they didn’t continue with the 20% off coupon the next day.
Sorry to hear that Carole Brodie is leaving HSN. She had some beautiful pieces. Not sure what will happen with HSN or QVC. Only time will tell. I think they are aiming for June 30th which could be the end of their fiscal year for them to come out of bankruptcy. Again, time will tell.
Ii do love pasta. It’s one of the foods that is good anytime day or night. Great comfort food. Maybe that’s why I enjoy Italian and Asian so much. So sign me up for Viva la Pasta!!!!😀😀😀

💕💎After 17 extraordinary years, I have decided to retire from home shopping and close one of the most meaningful chapters of my career.
Building Rarities Fine Jewelry on HSN was never just about jewelry for me. It was about glamour, storytelling, creativity, friendship, confidence, and the incredible bond I shared with women who welcomed me into their homes and lives for nearly two decades.
The original HSN was a very special place. It never felt corporate — it felt creative, collaborative, inspiring, beautiful, and full of soul. It was a place where ideas, storytelling, design, and passion truly mattered.
When the iconic HSN campus in St. Petersburg closed last year and operations were integrated into QVC, I realized an era I deeply loved had changed.
At the same time, something else became very clear to me: the most meaningful connections I now have with all of you happen every single day on social media. It’s where our connection has become even more personal and real.
I want more of that.
I want to share beauty, jewelry, design, travel, style, inspiration, and authentic everyday moments in a way that feels immediate, personal, and truly connected.
I want to be more Carol. More real. More present.
I created Rarities Fine Jewelry in 2009, and for 17 years every design reflected my personal creative vision and passion for jewelry.
As I begin this next chapter, I will no longer be involved in the design or creative direction of the Rarities Fine Jewelry collection. Going forward, all of my future jewelry designs, rare gemstones, and creative projects will instead live exclusively within the Carol Brodie Collection.
The Rarities pieces created during my years at HSN came directly from my heart and are timeless collectibles filled with meaning, memories, and love.
Thank you for 17 unforgettable years of loyalty, friendship, and support.
This is not goodbye. It’s a new beginning.
Stay tuned and continue to follow me on Instagram and Facebook as this next chapter begins.
Sending you sparkle and brilliance always, 💕💎
