It’s free exchanges. But in order to do that you’re most likely to get a return. I have been very disappointed with my DG2 purchases this past year. I need a tall for the rise but unless they are skinny jeans I have to hem them. Now if you don’t wear them right away, I have found that the rear end gets droopy. It’s now comfortable! I tried the regular instead of tall, but they ride down in the back & they are too short. I am going to try to reconstruct some this winter. I am so happy I know how to sew! Once this year I received a petite skinny jean. CS told me I could give them away! I’m not giving away jeans that cost more than $50.00. Plus, I don’t have any friends that are petite. Sadly, I have given up on them. I found some online that fit just fine in the tall & they don’t bag out!

I got two pair of St. John’s Bay Tall Secretly Slender Stretch Fabric Womens Mid Rise Straight Leg Jean for twenty dollars each. They say mid-rise but they come to my natural waist. I wore them today & they don’t have too must material in the bottom that gets baggy as the day goes on. The colored jeans are mid-rise & I didn’t like the fit they are not Secretly Slender. My DG2’s bag out in about an hour. I’m going to have them altered. I just thought I would share if anyone really needs a solid black.
This is why so many people get upset. I love DG2 & I need tall jeans. I can’t find any in my area. I don’t think there are many options as good as DG2. I am all set for jeans at the moment. Thank goodness. I guess they should be there very soon.

Item # 560-464. I have sent back the black I had ordered & had to return. I have to hem all the straight leg, so I purchased the skinny jean to wear right away. I received the Indigo in 20 tall & they are too big. I will have to exchange them for an 18WT. I did the exchange. I just don’t know why they don’t all fit the same. This is frustrating. I almost didn’t order the indigo, but I need jeans.

That’s good for me! The indigo are fine except they need to be hemmed too. I have to buy tall for the rise to be right. They just seem to be getting longer in most of her jeans. The skinny jeans are the only ones that don’t have to be hemmed.

I so much agree, being 5′ tall. We make up about 1/4v of all women.. All the talk about being inclusive doesn’t apply to us, I guess.. Will never forget when a host selling a long maxi dress, said it could be worn by a petite if they wore 4″ heelsl And Anthony stood there and just laughed about it. I’m older, but even my younger friends don’t wear any heels (especially with arthritis). It was a long time before I watched watched HSN again, and certainly not Anthony. I disagree because Denim & Co. Their Petites and jackets always fit me. Narrow shoulders, shorter torso. It really makes me mad when pants, jeans and long dresses are not made in Petite. They don’t even try to adjust the length so it fits everyone. Am also sick of celebrity designers who own three mansions selling apparel they would never wear.
Her clothes are too long. I purchased 2 pairs of boot cut jeans which I had to take to the consignment shop because I could not wear them even if I folded the elastic waistline over. I missed the 30 day return date so that was my fault. Also, the sweater that was on yesterday for the TSV was so long it did not look right unless it was on a very tall model. Also, I never liked the look of a bulky knot/sash tied in back of a sweater. If you don’t want to use the belt why buy the sweater in the first place? And let’s face it, unless you are fairly tall and well-proportioned tying a sweater around the waist will not be very flattering. It would make me look like a sack of potatoes with a string in the middle! The last color to go was that shocking bright green. If you wanted to get noticed that one would do the trick.
Recently I have become very disappointed with DG2 jeans. They used to be offered in Talls in all designs. Both Tall, petite, regular in all designs. Not anymore. And to make it worse, especially for us tall gals with long legs, they are making super designs but in “CROP”==oh no. That is the worst. It looks like you have high water jeans that are not fit to your leg length. Looks terrible unless you want a capri look. I am not into the capri look or I will buy a capri. So I have passed on many recent purchases with DG2 jeans. Like others have said–I have many DG2 jeans and jackets. How many can you have. For me none that are cropped and not talls. And then add in the expense you have if and when you want to return them. Even with the “free return” not really totally free.
For now, I am not going to buy DG2 jeans for a while. I have returned at least four pair. I am going to have to have some that I kept altered. Waists seem too big & unless I buy skinny jeans in tall, I have to have them hemmed. The sizing is not consistent. I do size down in virtual stretch. I am not a big fan of the new classic stretch. I have purchased over 100 pair. My weight has changed after two surgeries. I can’t seem to lose it. I needed jeans. It’s expensive to have them altered. I can’t find tall jeans where I live. I have enough for now!
I am tall & cropped jeans look like they are just too short for me. I hate them!
Posted in Forum: FashionHearing Diane Gilman served Hollywood for years, I am disappointed by the jeans I bought. They’re off white with a slight bell bottom. There was no option for tall….only petite. The regular are too short for me. Plus, they’re a very thin, cheap feeling jeans.
