I’ve been a fan of DG2 for more years then I care to admit. I have many, many, of her jeans that I still wear and love. lately I’ve returned and even donated more than I’ve kept. I’m to the point I’ve given up totally on the jeans. It seems the crotch hangs way to low and the waist band is just beneath my chest. Also, more often than not, the inside leg seam migrates to the front of the foot when you walk, it’s very strange. I’ve never had any issues in the past with her jeans. I just can’t afford to pay $3.50 shipping to get them to me only to try them on and then have to spend another $7.95 to return them. Anyone else less then impressed lately?
Posted in Forum: FashionIf we are all beautiful just the way we are, why do all of these fashion presentations constantly insinuate that their clothes will make a person look taller and slimmer? What if you are not tall and slim? Talk about a mixed message. Maybe women would like to look good just the way they are and not strive for the impossible. I am 5’1″, no pair of jeans is ever going to make me look tall, and I am smart enough to know it. Quit telling people that they have to strive to be tall and slim when that is not who they are.
Posted in Forum: FashionI am so tired of paying for postage and/or return postage on fashion when the manufacturer keeps changing the sizing guidelines without letting the customers know!!!!
The recent TSV DG2 jeans sizing is so totally off. I ordered size 12, just like my last purchase. These jeans fit, or would fit like hip huggers, if I could get the button and the button hole to meet. Maybe, if there was 4″ more of fabric!
My DG2 wardrobe goes from a 12 to a 16! I don’t care the the size label says…. don’t make the customer think they are smaller than they are. Make them uniformly. Call me a 12 or a 16 or a B or a chubbett…just make the jeans so I can order and not have to constantly return.
I look forward to hear from others who have received these jeans.Posted in Forum: FashionI just do not get the attraction to these tanks. It sticks out right at my waist & makes me look pregnant. I have two that I may just sew down. I love her tall jeans. Not much luck with her tops.
Posted in Forum: FashionI love the fit of these jeans in tall. I now have too many because many were on waitlist. I am trying to get another midtone. It’s still on waitlist. I like the snaps at the bottom. I had hoped to do an exchange. I just went on waitlist again. The material is soft & it reminds me of her jeans before Covid.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI sometimes wonder why guests and hosts feel that their opinion is “the” answer. I bought a pair of the itty bitty democracy bootcut jeans. I never wear tall boots nor heals. I wear sneakers loafers and sandals. I like to wear boot cuts with flat shoes. The democracy guest and the host on the clip on line for these jeans chose to belittle people that don’t understand that bootcut pants are meant to be worn with boots..they didn’t even recognize that many people don’t wear tall boots or heels. Makes me not want to shop with hsn. I don’t want the bias opinions. Open your mind that some of us don’t wear tall shoes and acknowledge that everyone has their own style. Come on! Your job is to Sell on an item..not to tell me how I must wear it..
Posted in Forum: FashionI bought the 2 sided jeans with the snakeskin pattern on one side HUE brand. I have DG2, Iman, and Democracy jeans. I am tall, and wear XL to 1X. With HUE I ordered 1X. Received them yesterday and they looked small without much stretch. Tried them on and could not get them to my hips. I looked at the tag in the jeans and it stated 1x. The paper tag stated the same and I looked at the sizing on the paper tag. They should have fit. I would say these were a 12-14 in size. Even 3x would not have fit. Anyone else have an issue? If not, I will send them back and exchange thinking wrong size was marked. The pattern is beautiful.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among Yourselvesjust went to return an item, now I have to print my own return label which is now $7.99 and this is for a pair of G-jeans that I had previously loved ordered the same jean same size paid $20 more for a different color?! They were made so chintzy I could have put two legs in one leg, they stink, and not denim like the others! SAME ITEM!!!!! I am totally over all this , until they go bankrupt ( which they and qvc will just watch!) and change the way they are so people over I won’t be ordering from here. This is out an out stealing from their customers!
