Qvc not for me. Used to buy Attitudes with Renee but even her line has changed More like ladies who are stay at home, grab something to just put on. I’m a tall woman so 29” IS NO t TALL. 31” is good/32 better. But do agree both shows need to step up with the clothing line,, the models and get back some of the designers and models they dropped

I like G by Giuliana, but she needs to make more petites. C wonder made one thing that I like a pendulum faux leather jacket with a zipper which I purchased in all colors before they brought it back as a TSV everything else is horrible. One or two dresses but they did not come in petite. The designers are really bad. DG2 had a couple of specialty jeans I liked with bows in fake crystals they were nice which I purchased but I don’t like the cheap sweaters and tons of all the same jeans that usually smell of formaldehyde.
G is the only designer that is decent, but she should not be the only one at least QVC has a lot of good designers to pick from HSN has only one in my opinion they need a lot more.
Marla Wynne is overpriced all the same clothing. She is a wanna be designer her pants are horrible none of these people are real designers.
QVC has Isaac Mizrahi an excellent designer always makes petites. Susan graver makes the best fitting pant she is a real designer. They are making quality and petites not that you have to like everything, but you have options between all the good designers.
Most of designers on HSN need to be replaced with quality designers not celebrities who never make petites. I do like G they are lucky to have her.

I totally agree with golden girls theme. Ill fitting clothing and a high price tag. HSN needs to step it up or they will be out of business like QVC is approaching for the same reason. At one time they were the only online video purchasing platform. Who needs old lady clothes?

I still like HSN but I feel that the owners of HSN & QVC give QVC preference over HSN they treat HSN like it is of less value and not worthy of having higher end products. The floors are always dirty you see hair and debris on the shoes all the time the set isn’t half as nice.
I think HSN should not have sold 30 percent of their network to QVC because QVC is not giving HSN the same advantages as the Q.
HSN has to start demanding better from the owners’ The Qurate Retail Group. The CEO of the Quarte group is horrible I don’t think he can find his way out of a paper bag.

Yea, I always filter low to high reviews, but on many, and I mean many items there are no reviews whatsoever on the 1 to 3 star review comments.
That’s what I was talking about. QVC has this same thing going on. It was not like this in the past.

One of the worrying things to me was seeing Sarah Anderson do a tour of the Pennsylvania studio and HSN only has a single room devoted to it and the QVC HQ is a massive, sprawling building from what I understand. That just didn’t give me a good feeling from the start.
I, too, have lost interest in buying since so much is priced too high compared to fair market value that can be found elsewhere (like you said TJ Maxx is great!). The newer hosts seem to be letting the guests, who are in general more experienced with being on HSN, do more of the talking so it’s definitely becoming more infomercial than enjoyable.

In Tampa, the morning shows were fun, light-hearted and probably also lower-pressure sales with lower-priced items more frequently. Now the morning shifts seem to be the training ground for the new hosts to train with Siaoming, and as the afternoon progresses it’s a mix of the new hosts and some of the more experienced. Once the evening hits it is all of the retained hosts from Tampa where it seems like the sales “matter more”… Tina, Ty and others who were very good in the morning are now doing the hard-sell evening shows. You can also tell that the experienced hosts are worked a lot harder… do you notice the newer hosts like Jasmine Brooks, Clarke Wolfe and Sarah Timm only work an hour or two at a time? They are very seldom ever working a 3 hour block, but many of the newer QVC hosts will work 3 hours like the regular hosts. Plus they keep hiring new ones for HSN… all seems odd in terms of the reasoning…

I am returning so many things. Nothing fits me right any more or it smells bad straight out of the delivery bad or one leg or arm is shorter than the other. A size 10 cut like a 6 or even a 14.
I tried one last time with a pair of Guiliana jeans. Another return. It costs us about $10 to try and then return I figure. $3.50 to ship to my house and about $6.95 to return via their label. Brands that used to always fit now arrive with funky fit, something wrong with it, etc.
And there is no free exchange as far as I can tell because you have to return it first. And write on the return slip you want a bigger size or whatever the problem is. By the time, HSN or QVC get the item back, the original is gone out of stock. I’ve called and talked to customer service who tells me this is how their system works. Maybe I am missing something?

I rarely watch anymore. You all have stated it well. Over time I have all I need. The offerings are expensive, cannot compete with the quality that was once presented. Sizing is off or not uniform. And design not to my liking. Both HSN and QVC have taken a tumble. Perhaps QVC more so with chattering hosts and little or no public communication experience.

General statement for the majority of host on HSN & QVC. Most of the hosts do it on both HSN & QVC.

Isn’t Shawn on QVC? Stop complaining on the HSN site.

Jamie, the QVC model (and she previously modeled for Shop HQ,) is the essence of true perfection when it comes to modeling clothes, Her smile is infectious, she moves with such grace and you can really get a good look at what she is wearing. Perhaps she could give the new HSN models some tips on how to present an outfit while smiling and enjoying the outfit????

This unflattering post should be removed. QVC would never allow this to post. Emily is wonderful and one of my favorite hosts.
