What's happening with Tina Jennings ?
1–27–26 Hello– Tina Jennings is almost never on the air –on HSN– since the move from Tampa !! Her scheduled Tuesday night show is never on. She is not on a regular weekday morning schedule either. Also Tina seems very different in West Chester than in Tampa. In Tampa she was funny, buoyant high energy, sassy, confident, fun–in West Chester she seems very scripted, submissive, seems tentative, and does not have her trademark spark. I liked her work in Tampa very much—her work in West Chester seems totally different. What do you all out there think ?

I think you are trying to pull something. I see Tina ALL THE TIME on the air. She takes days off occasionally. She’s funny when she can be and is serious when she needs to be. I don’t think she has changed at all. Where do you people get this stuff???

I still like HSN but I feel that the owners of HSN & QVC give QVC preference over HSN they treat HSN like it is of less value and not worthy of having higher end products. The floors are always dirty you see hair and debris on the shoes all the time the set isn’t half as nice.
I think HSN should not have sold 30 percent of their network to QVC because QVC is not giving HSN the same advantages as the Q.
HSN has to start demanding better from the owners’ The Qurate Retail Group. The CEO of the Quarte group is horrible I don’t think he can find his way out of a paper bag. -
I don’t spend a lot of time watching either station, but there does appear to be some disparaging between the two networks. Q has very elaborate stages/settings, not true for HSN. Maybe they are working on something better for these folks who have uprooted themselves to work in Pa. I know it was their choice, but they shouldn’t be the stepchild

In Tampa, the morning shows were fun, light-hearted and probably also lower-pressure sales with lower-priced items more frequently. Now the morning shifts seem to be the training ground for the new hosts to train with Siaoming, and as the afternoon progresses it’s a mix of the new hosts and some of the more experienced. Once the evening hits it is all of the retained hosts from Tampa where it seems like the sales “matter more”… Tina, Ty and others who were very good in the morning are now doing the hard-sell evening shows. You can also tell that the experienced hosts are worked a lot harder… do you notice the newer hosts like Jasmine Brooks, Clarke Wolfe and Sarah Timm only work an hour or two at a time? They are very seldom ever working a 3 hour block, but many of the newer QVC hosts will work 3 hours like the regular hosts. Plus they keep hiring new ones for HSN… all seems odd in terms of the reasoning…

Rochellerock, I agree with your post. Lesley must be doing great. I’ve seen her do 4 hours shifts. Considering HSN isn’t doing well financially, why are they hiring more new hosts? Changes must be coming.
I’ve lost total interest in watching HSN. I mainly watch in the early morning when Sarah is on. Will keep buying Andrew’s vitamins, Will check out free shipping days and I’ll always use a coupon. TJMaxx is getting most of my money these days.
HSN, you need to find something that will draw a younger crowd.
I’ve enjoyed the ride but the merry go round is slowing down. -
One of the worrying things to me was seeing Sarah Anderson do a tour of the Pennsylvania studio and HSN only has a single room devoted to it and the QVC HQ is a massive, sprawling building from what I understand. That just didn’t give me a good feeling from the start.
I, too, have lost interest in buying since so much is priced too high compared to fair market value that can be found elsewhere (like you said TJ Maxx is great!). The newer hosts seem to be letting the guests, who are in general more experienced with being on HSN, do more of the talking so it’s definitely becoming more infomercial than enjoyable.

That is sad. I don’t watch HSN much anymore but I read the schedule. It seems the newer hosts are on in the mornings.
I liked Tina’s upbeat personality. When I have seen her on in the afternoon or evening, she does seem to have lost her spark.
Why did HSN hire 2 new hosts? That’s 8 in the past year. Maybe more changes are coming.
To be honest, the newer hosts don’t inspire me to buy.
