My HSN account was closed but I am still making payments on it. I am trying to create an account on the Synchrony page but they require my HSN card number but I no longer have the card, its either lost or misplaced. In calling HSN they referred me to Synchrony which then requires me to register a Synchrony account; therefore I’ve come full circle and accomplished nothing. The Synchrony page says the card number is on the statement My oldest statement is 7/2015 but I don’t see it anywhere on it. Wonder where I can find that number. Today is Sunday so maybe a weekday will have more people who can help? frustrating…
Posted in Forum: BeautyIf HSN and QVC are owned by the same company and HSN is the home of Beekman why is there such a price difference on this product? QVC has a normal price of $66 and is selling it for $60. HSN has a normal price of $99 and is selling for $84.95. It’s the same products as far as I can tell. What’s going on?
Posted in Forum: HSN ArcadeI have been unable to get my scores updated? Are there no longer any specialty games on Fridays? I am not even able to access HSN Community on my cell. Please ADVISE.
Posted in Forum: JewelryJoan posted on FB that she is leaving HSN. Her last show will be October 29th between 3 and 5.That is probably eastern time. There is no way I believe she is leaving of her own choosing unless she says so. She always talked about how HSN was the most fulfilling thing she has ever done. If HSN let her go, shame on them. Joan is a jewel and I love her.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI found an interesting article online from “pagesix” in May. It details how after the merger, the hosts and many regular guests of HSN received an email memo from an exec at HSN telling them to “stop presenting items like a used car salesmen with false claims, if they do, etc”, and it apparently infuriated many of them. I’ll try to link to it below if links work here, but in general you can search online for “HSN stars livid over exec’s ‘condescending and disrespectful email” from pagesix and it will pull the article up. After reading I’m curious if anyone agrees with it.
I realize there are many more women than men who shop on HSN/QVC, but I do have to chime in. I’m a geek so pay MUCH more attention to the electonics and gadget presentations than many might. Over time, I have heard many false claims made by a number of items (computers, cell phones, tech in general, etc). Sometimes I think it’s the host simply not learning much on the product and winging it – but when they have the tech expert co-hosts on, I have caught some of them blatantly lying about things before. It’s a real turn-off and yes, could be described as a used car salesman type of atmosphere. I have actually logged in during a live presentation to comment and fix inaccurate claims during a show just so I know some people will have accurate info on an item I’m familiar with.
Anyway, my point is that this could explain why some of the sellers you all are talking about may no longer be there. Some may have been dropped, but perhaps after that memo went out some of them got angry and simply left. I don’t really think I’ve seen many product sales people lie outright (at least not a lot)… it’s always the hosts or the tech experts cohosts. Just wondered what people thought about it. Link to that article I was talking about: HSN Hosts and Guests angry…

Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI used hsn.syf.com and was able to get things taken care of. Scroll to bottom and Register. I had to call them first; I wasn’t putting .com after the hsn.syf before. Hope this helps someone.
