I like to “Thank” HSN today for saving me from charging anymore on my credit card due to your not offering free or at least $5 shipping for my purchases. Really? Most crafters are on limited incomes….what in marketing forgot about this. I did manage to spend $20 only because I had $5 Kash from a return that actually cost me $15 to return because it was too big for me to tote down to the UPS office myself and had to pay to have them pick it up. (So much for your free returns policy…right?) So I used that so-called rebate to cover the cost of some adhesive that was on clearance….hopefully it hasn’t been lying in your warehouse forever and is still usable.
There were many items I would have loved to have purchased today on flex pay, but not for items shipped in the same box at astronomical shipping costs. So thanks for smacking me back to reality and reminding me that I already have a boat load of unused craft items from other sale days to use up. Hey…keep this policy up for the next 3 months and I’ll get that card paid off real quick and won’t bother wasting my time watching your show. I’ll just go buy what I want directly from your vendors…who offer free shipping over a certain dollar value!

I had ordered 5 items and was about to add more….when I realized they were ripping off their craft customers today. It was sooooo disappointing having to empty my cart. I am not happy and see that I am not alone. Thanks a lot for wasting my whole day, HSN. I cannot afford such INFLATED shipping.

I can buy craft items at any individual website, I don’t need to buy from HSN. What attracted me was the 5.00 shipping. I am a prime member somewhere else and I just cancelled most of my order today and I will purchase the other items that I wanted at the other website. I not only will get free shipping, but I will get the items tomorrow. So there is nothing but the Cricut Joy bundle to attract me today. I hope HSN will rethink this move and go back to the 5.00 shipping.

I have a feeling HSN is going to be doing less business in selling crafts today because the shipping costs are ridiculous!
My recommendation is that you bring back the $5 shipping…FAST. I’d rather have the $5 shipping than the flex pay as it saves all of us crafters a ton of money.
As soon as I signed on at 1:00 AM I got pop ups claiming to be Norton notifying me that my subscription expired today and to click to renew. Behind that pop up was another Norton to install. I don’t have Norton and I know they don’t notify you with a pop up. They email you like most virus protection companies weeks before it expires. Norton would have no reason to notify me to renew something I don’t have. When I signed back in again, a pop up supposedly from Spectrum notifying me my Adobe Flash Player was out of date. Behind that pop up was an Adobe Flash Player to install. I sent Reimage Repair each time letting them know it was from them not Norton or Spectrum. I have reported them to the FBI as per doing a search on cyber crimes. Reported them to Norton and Spectrum. I always take pictures of the pop ups as proof for my case. So far the pop ups only occur when I sign into HSN. There email address is support@imageplus.com.

Posted in Forum: BeautyI too emailed Linda Marshall of Elysee. She said they would try to honor hsn prices and I placed an order with her through email but never heard back. Assuming that her business move will happen and she will get back to all of us.
I have been using Elysee products for 15 years and I credit their products for my appearance.
I never expected this or I would have stocked up on Elysee products.
Hsn should bring Elysee back. They don’t know what a cult following Elysee has. Are the reading all of this?
I believe a Mod should answer this. It looked like nobody knew the answer so they just made one up!! They gave me spendable cash but I requested credit back to my original payment method. Checked, still spendable cash. I don’t know if I will be shopping with HSN anymore so please give me credit to my credit card. You seem to have alot of problems.
Me too Bonnabc, I got the Power trio deluxe hero set on autoship when it was presented on HSN, I think as a Today Special. I had it until lately when they cancelled on me. I hope they bring it back and unadulterated.
Way back when ~ during one of Linda’s HSN specials, I got the double size containers of the “Power Trio Deluxe Hero Set” which included Pycnogenol, Fountain of Youth, and Youthspan Facial Resurrection serum on autoship for such an excellent price. I would stock up on the Optim-Ox in the large jars, the Facial Resurrection Night Cream, Day Cream, and many of Linda’s other products. All really great. I need to ask Allison if they still have the Deluxe Hero Set.

Glad to hear that Slinky Brand will be back on HSN. I really like their clothes and especially the material.
The prices are exactly the same. I know because I have just about every item on Chico’s website by Marla in my closet. I backed off recently from her. I think the quality of her items have really reflected being made in China. So disappointing and as I said, she hasn’t really done much of anything new. She was once my all time favorite but as her clothes became more and more costly, I just felt the value wasn’t there and the styles are pretty much all the same. Flowy. Boxy. Covering everything with lots of material. I’ve just about given up on HSN and QVC. I’m really annoyed that every item has to have a spoke person. The ORIGINAL hosts on these shows handled it quite well and now everything has to be introduced and explained by the company’s spoke person. Shop around, Ladies. There are lots of other places to get good quality and good prices.

Back in the day, several HSN show hosts during Linda’s segments had mentioned that more than a few upper echelon employees of – “A Lister” – cosmetic brands use Elysee rather than the brands they work for because Elysee’s formulations have a high amount of ingredients that actually work. The “famous” high end brands have such huge overheads it’s commercially not viable for them to produce the same quality. Remember Elysee was/is owned and run by Linda and her family, and they don’t cut themselves huge salaries.
* I want Linda to keep her company that she’s put a lifetime into.

I just talked with Allison Konick, the rep for Elysee. Allison was wonderful, very helpful, and has worked with Linda for years, and also other brands on HSN and QVC, plus her husband, an Australian, took care of arranging Linda’s TV appearances in Australia.
* Linda has – not – sold the Elysee co, but needed to find investors/backers to help finance the companies growth, and has several interested parties. But that is not to say that the co will not be sold. Of course Linda wants to keep ownership, so hopefully the investors will be the answer.
* They hope to have their website up in one week, but it’s a complicated endeavor getting everything running smoothly.
