I paid off all my flex pays with a visa card. The transactions posted in Feb., Mar., & April. The HSN card does not show the $0 balance on my flex pays. They have charged me interest. I was set up for auto pay statement balance. Somehow it was changed to minimum payment. I called HSN yesterday & again today. They are supposed to let synchrony bank (HSN card) know. This has caused me a lot of anxiety. I will never use flex pay again. I doubt I’ll use my HSN card either. I am just letting you am just making my shopping friends know.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceClosed credit cards synchrony bank did the same thing to me I was paid my payments on time I’ve received I open the cards like maybe a year and a half ago to two years and then on my QVC card they just went out and closed it out from under me didn’t even let me know I didn’t get a letter to like two weeks later saying they were closing it and then They lowered my HSN credit so anyway I am I’m paying them off and I’m not ever going to use them again I was never late on my payments and I think I was late once but it wasn’t even 30 days late so it’s bad business.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among Yourselvesif you have a hsn mastercard, please’ dont’ use it in any furniture store, any local stores. you cant use it in your home local stores on any domestic purchases of six hundred, seven hundred, eight hundred and then mail them the full amount.once they get your check paid in full, they will reverse your payment back on to your hsn mastercard because they’ll cash it, then turn it into promotional finance purchases. if you use it at home, you can only make small purchases. any domestic purchases you have to make it on hsn because synchrony wants to finsncec it. if you have other mager credit cards , please’ use it, for buying TV’S furniture, synchrony will keep billing you for the same purchases payment you just paid in full. it’s a reverse payment, a charge back because you didnt finance it. what all this means, you have to make any mager payments above on line. trust me there not worth you. avoid them at all costs.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among Yourselveswatch out for bank fraud in synchrony bank on charges to your synchrony bank account credit card if you have one for charges of a balance ( purchase) that you paid by(BANK afficial teller check) or personal check money order. i sent them an afficial bank teller check for $752.99 for a recliner i bought here at home, put it on my hsn master card, synchrony has my banks teller check, they reversed it on tl.my mastercard in the amount of $912.53. i dont purchase anything for that kind of miney because i dont have that kind of money. there looming to get money on 742.99 twice. plus almost $200.00 that i dont know anything about. in june or july they put somone eles money in my account in the amount of four thousand, two hundred that belonged to another womens bank in Alabama ” regent bank. since they had tried billing me for nine hundted, twelve fifty three. my flex pays arent even $100.00 for this month. if you make that amount of a purchase, use another bank card. DO NOT USE SYNCHRONY BANK CREDIT CARD!!. FOR THAT AMOUNT. WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD.

Hi @ puddin1206, the HSN Credit Card will impact your credit score as it is a credit card held by Synchrony Financial Bank. Our FlexPay program does not impact your credit. Sadly, it is beyond our control when it comes to the HSN Credit Card as we do not have access to personal credit card information.

Hi @puddin1206, I am really sorry to hear of this experience, but we do not impact credit scores. You could be speaking about the HSN Credit Card which is issued by Synchrony Financial.

I apologize for the experience this has caused, @juicewrld7. Sadly, we don’t have access to your HSN Credit Card information and would be unable to help. I would recommend giving Synchrony Bank a ring again regarding when your payments will post.

I am sorry to hear of your experience with us and the confusion that your FlexPay has caused, @dlrdeb. Our FlexPay program is completely separate from your HSN Credit Card billing with Synchrony Financial Bank. When you select FlexPay on your orders, your credit card will be billed for the first monthly installment, plus tax and shipping. The balance is then automatically billed to your credit card in equal monthly installments beginning 30 days after the original order date.
We do not assess interest charges or fees on FlexPay or ExtraFlex. However, use of your HSN Card or other credit card for FlexPay or ExtraFlex payments may result in interest charges and other fees in accordance with the terms and conditions of your individual credit card agreements
I ordered an item last night and this morning I was checking my credit card charges as I often do. Lo and behold, HSN apparently charged me $5.95 shipping (in addition to the item’s first flexpay and the tax that is supposed to be charged) and it CLEARLY stated FREE shipping. This is the first time that HSN has done something like this to me. I don’t really understand how they made the mistake. Thank you, cmd1, for your post (even if it’s almost 3 years old, it is helpful). Hopefully, HSN will resolve this issue quickly. If not, I know what to do. I did not use the HSN – Synchrony card because I don’t particularly like Synchrony. I used a Visa (and the bank is NOT Synchrony). I enjoy HSN, but if they start making these type of mistakes on a regular basis, I will not be buying much, if anything. I am glad that your issue was resolved, cmd1, but it is ashamed that you had to go through all of that baloney.
Cancelling the card will not stop you from being responsible for the payment that is due on the 10th..The card is issued by Synchrony Bank and all they see is what is on the statement..What HSN does is not their concern.Just like,Kohls, JCPenny, Belks, etc..The card has the store name on the logo but thats all as far as payments,billings,etc.If the payment isn’t there on the 10th you will be charged a late fee.It would be best to make the payment and then let them issue you a refund if the card is closed.
Otherwise your credit score is going to take a hit for a late payment.

We recommend speaking with them directly at 844-889-9676 for more information on why the payments are being declined. You can also update these payments online under the FlexPay Manager if you would prefer to have them processed on another credit card.

I would recommend giving Synchrony Bank a call at 1-844-889-9676, Sunday-Saturday 7:00am-2:00am ET regarding any HSN Credit Card concerns.

After making a purchase and paying in full SYNCHRONY bank is harassing me every day by phone , emails and by mail claiming I haven’t payed. I call HSN they see I paid in full and tell me to deal with the bank. Costumer service please deal with the bank, clear with them . I CLOSED MY CARD and if this is not cleared soon I will never shop here again.

My credit limit was decreased without warning after I returned the majority of an order, sorry DG2 you don’t fit as well and consistently as you used to. Then I made my last payment on the balance and suddenly now my account is closed. I called and was told they ran my credit with Transunion and because of inquires I no longer was credit worthy. Has anyone else experienced this? Since the switch to Synchrony the HSN card is horrible! I just hate losing the history.
