They mess up my credit

I have never had an issue with HSN and have always paid my bill and had a zero balance. I stop shopping to save to buy a home. I am suppose to be moving out the house I’m in now soon (I do not own it) but I wake up this morning to find my credit score is DOWN 56 POINTS!!! I received nothing in the mail, nothing in my email, no phone call… nothing… but they cancelled my account because I was not using it which brought my score down 56 points!!!!! That’s horrible, after I worked my tail off getting my credit score up to 735!!! Never again, just to pay for something, if you do your research, you will find much cheaper somewhere else. I am sooo over this and I have no ides where I going to be living soon. This hurts!!! Yes, I have called customer service, spoke to Aliaha, supervisor, and she look to see and found out nothing was sent to me. Then she told me there’s nothing can be done to reopen the account even though I offer to buy something.

HSN is an INFERIOR COMPANY with UNEDUCATED customer service that DO NOT know the BILLING CYCLES — AND WILL Harress you for a late fee when your payment was NOT late!! BUT APPLIED TOWARDS THE PREVIOUS BILLING CYCLE!! Customer Service seem to think this is OKAY–THEIR Bank SYNCHONY THINKS ITS OKAY — TOTALLY INFERIOR TWISTED COMPANY — I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT and they STILL HAVE IDIOTS SENDING LETTERS- YES! THEY DING PEOPLES CREDIT FOR THEIR GOOFY BOOKKEEPING

  @cam2024, I’m sorry if you had a bad experience with the credit card. We don’t have access to your credit card account so we do not know this information. Any late fees would need to be addressed with Synchrony Financial Bank.

Hi @puddin1206, I am really sorry to hear of this experience, but we do not impact credit scores. You could be speaking about the HSN Credit Card which is issued by Synchrony Financial.

  Yes, that is what I’m talking about and it did effect my score. There could have been some kind of warning. I could brought something inexpensive to save my credit and buy the house I was looking at now I have to find somewhere to live… My family is not in this state, I was trying to bring them here

  Hi @ puddin1206, the HSN Credit Card will impact your credit score as it is a credit card held by Synchrony Financial Bank. Our FlexPay program does not impact your credit. Sadly, it is beyond our control when it comes to the HSN Credit Card as we do not have access to personal credit card information.
