I think Mary Beth likely taught the mechanics of doing the job. What cameras to look at, how to handle different products, etc.
Remember that QVC and HSN continue to hire actors and newscasters, who – if they were really good at acting or broadcasting – probably would have never found their way to home shopping channels…. Mary Beth couldn’t magically give these ladies talent they never had…

Agree with you. HSN always had Florida style in the set decor, but now QVC is making a mockery of them. It’s very obvious that HSN is no longer running the show. QVC Management needs to stop making HSN a caricature of what is was. So sad 🙁

This is HSN decorators, not QVC. This is the Florida colors they were so use to using when they were there. Looks like the Lilly Pulitzer influence.

I totally agree. It looks so awful. QVC sets don’t look as bad as this Do they actually think it looks good?

I totally agree – Why the cheesy pink feather wreathes and gaudy decor? Is QVC trying to make a joke out of HSN? The QVC sets have traditional holiday colors and HSN looks like Barbie decorated it. Something is really wrong and it makes me sad to see HSN treated like this.

42 years…wow! I only watch the hosts that I like if I’m interested in the product. I’m not that interested in Beekman but I could watch Heather Hall all day. She was the best host ever on Evine.
I don’t watch QVC very often.. Pat and Rick are my favorites and I rarely watch them. So the move will eventually be good for my pocketbook.
I watch the news in the morning now.😊

I beg to differ. Depending on the section of Philadelphia, as with any major city, there are some very nice sections. Whether I live in Philadelphia or not, no one should be calling anyone’s place of residence a toilet. Someone gets on here and complains any time there is a comment he/she considers offensive. Well, I consider that comment offensive and should be removed. If you don’t like Philadelphia, that is your option. Don’t put down the living areas of many people who purchase from QVC/HSN. By the way, I know W. Chester, too. Not all sections are lovely.

Since QVC also has craft supplies, I wondered if HSN and QVC would combine their stock of crafts after the move. If they did, it would take a little time before they put together a craft show or craft day.

Absolutely it matters! and QVC has kept all of their models in place.

I agree . I can’t imagine any of the sellers actually wearing any of the clothes .
61 Years Blessed and I refuse to wear poly 90 year old ladies clothes .
I own about 20 pairs of DG Jeans , Her line looks awful this year .
I feel HSN Should take our feedback serious . Numbers don’t lie . The entire inventory from Home to clothing has change for the worse .
We need New buyers . I use to Purchase something weekly .Lucky if i find anything i like in months , i Purchase Curtis stone TS . Nothing but a big plastic waste of money . I refuse to shop on QVC for many reasons anymore .

I agree. The QVC hosts, many of them, are unwatchable. The behave like they are some kind of “influencers” and “stars”. Many of them have “lost the plot” as the saying goes. I always liked HSN and find myself watching more. I am willing to give the new hosts, models and production staff time to settle in and refine their presentations.

Separate pricing and s&h happens all the time. QVC and HSN are operating as separate companies.

Wow, good tips from both of you. Thanks!
@heavenlyglo, I am as surprised as you that HSN and QVC would carry the same item and sell them at different prices! I’d never think to check one against the other but, thanks to your post, I will be on the lookout for that! JEEZ!

I like the qvc models but most of the new HSN models don’t look happy to be there, they don’t bring any life to the product. Some are ok but most are not, I see they are bringing up some of the Florida models for some shows. Thank you HSN!
