Presentations not made in Philadelphia
I just turned on HSN and Colleen was doing her show from wherever. It is so annoying to watch somebody present their product when their lips don’t match the words on the presentation. The videotaping of this has to be better or the show should have a host in the station and not someplace else. I had to change the channel. It was so annoying.

@mookie457, thanks for allowing me the space to complain and vent. I just wish it was clean, safe and vibrant like it was when good ol Lynn Abraham was in charge. Now-a-days I see more trash than ever…. Graffiti covering once meaningful murals and store fronts empty. My neighborhood is fine by most standards. Fishtown is a trendy, cool spot. But I miss the old Philly … the place I felt safe in walking from Headhouse Square to the speed line at 8th & Market at 2:00am by myself (after my galpal left with some guy we met at Dickens Inn). Aaaahhh Mookie457, those were the days!

It’s where I have lived for over 40+ years. In several neighborhoods. It’s changed and I stand by my observations. It’s a town worthy of flushing.
If my husband would leave, I would bounce in a blink. But he won’t. So I float along in it, until he passes away and then I’m outta here.-
Sorry you feel that way with regards to where you live. I can only say where I live it is quite nice. May not stay that way, but for the time being, it is nice. Things are not always greener, if you understand. W. Chester has its pockets, too. I have lived in the Philadelphia area all my life ( and that is quite a few years without mentioning my age). I am sorry you feel as you do and I wish you well.

As a public service announcement:
West Chester is about an hour away from Philly. If you hit a snag in traffic – even longer. They’re in a nice suburb. Not in grotesque, dank, dangerous crime ridden Philly. I live in Philly. It’s a toilet. West Chester is lovely.-
I beg to differ. Depending on the section of Philadelphia, as with any major city, there are some very nice sections. Whether I live in Philadelphia or not, no one should be calling anyone’s place of residence a toilet. Someone gets on here and complains any time there is a comment he/she considers offensive. Well, I consider that comment offensive and should be removed. If you don’t like Philadelphia, that is your option. Don’t put down the living areas of many people who purchase from QVC/HSN. By the way, I know W. Chester, too. Not all sections are lovely.

that was lip sinking

I agree as well. I understand Colleen has given many good years to HSN. IMHO, she should either outright retire or make the effort to travel to Pennsylvania a few days a month to present her products. This one foot in the door and one foot out just isn’t working. I used to enjoy watching her but just cannot sit thru her latest shows since they are headquartered in PA.

In time if this keeps up,sales will go down. Which could be happening already. It was horrible!

I agree! I did not like it so I turned it off!

I do think Colleen was in the PA studio last week for a few days.

The Colleen presentation was made from Lou and Kelli Caputo’s studio in St Pete. Wifi and other connections can’t always be synced and it’s no one’s fault. How quickly you’ve forgotten how it was during COVID. Yes, HSN had their stuff together, because they cared. Qurate is all about the money. The only way this can be fixed is if Diva Lopez blesses PA with her presence, or lets a rock star like Paul Wood do her presentations.

Agreed. Poor presentation. I like Colleen and miss her fashion and jewelry shows from the past.
The video sync was dreadful. Is it Qurate who can’t get their act together? Unbelieveable. they brag bout their world-class studios. Tend to think it’s some bad tech juju on their side. They should help out on the Florida end.

I agree, and the lighting was not very good IMHO. The video streaming was not sharp.
