I wish HSN would start indicating when an item has relevant pieces available for purchase. For example, if a dress has a matching jacket, scarf, belt, etc., instead of just advertising random items below the viewed product (as HSN does now) why not replace those random items with the items that are relevant to the item being viewed. Also, same with jewelry…if there are matching pieces-let us know!
Many times I have purchased a dress from HSN just to find out later that there was a matching jacket or belt being sold as well – because there is no way for the customer to know. I found out too late so I completely missed out!
Almost every other vendor does this except HSN-it just seems to make sense. The customer is then happy & HSN increases their sales. Win/Win!Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI returned an item on 11/24. I have my receipt. It scanned for 6 days then stopped. It appears item is lost. I filed a complaint with USPS. I have never had a company not refund if I returned and usps lost item. If HSN can see I returned it by scanned return label but usps lost it, I should not have to continue to pay for item. I’ve never had or had this happen in all my years of shopping online. I’m neve shopping with HSn again if this is the policy. I am paying for something I don’t have.

Never liked that they charge tax ON the shipping (tax should only be on the subtotal on the items bought) but I gave that battle up years ago. Now, many items have worked their way up to $7.50 shipping. One item. Each. If you want 2 of the same item , it’s $15. Come on! If I want to buy 10 different items in one HSN shopping spree, it’s $75! Are you serious?! I DO buy a lot, but I think my buying from HSN is coming to an end. There is no reason they can’t charge an entire order one flat fee. Should be FREE ship with over a certain dollar amount like most online retailers. Lately, I’ve been looking up the item I want that I’ve seen presented on air and see the exact same thing on Walmart, Target, Amazon etc, and got the shipping free. Bought it there. HSN and their ” other company” are too greedy anymore. Time to update your shipping policies HSN.

Perusing my ULTA circular, shopping online and visiting YT I see this awful trendy new thing of having to give MU shades and products these lewd names that are always sexually charged. Actually it isnt all that new but it seems to be not going away. Its just disgusting. Then some of the video ads are even worse. I wish we could stop calling ugly obscene overtures “pretty”. Just stay with the classics and present things in a classy way, it still works and will continue to work. I am really turned off visually watching many of these as they “drip” in product.
Posted in Forum: ElectronicsI just wanna say that I’m never going to purchase anything from hsn ever again. They charged my account twice and cancelled my orders. Its a ridiculous system, and I was first told my money would be back in my account at the end of business day, not true. Then I called back and they said 72 hours. My rent is due and now I have to be late paying my rent because they still have not released my funds. This is my worst experience ever shopping online. Never Again!!!
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceAbsolutely WORST customer service i have EVER dealt with! Spent half an hour on hold to order an item that was listed as not being able to be purchased online. When I finally got someone on the line i went through everything and she refused to proceed without me finding the item number and yet she had no idea where I could locate an order number. Once we had that settled she advised me to hold off on ordering the item I wanted because it was almost a $300 item she said I should sign up for emails and i would get a coupon for 15% off. She knew exactly what item I wanted to order, had the item number and everything. I got off the phone, signed up for the code and waited for my email, once i received the code i attempted to use it on their site and it would not work. I attempted several times then decided to call. This time I was on hold for 1 hour and 49 minutes. The woman who finally picked up the phone was beligerently nasty from the second she got on the line. I explained the problem and she said, well you didnt read the coupon exceptions then! At this point i was at the end of my rope and yet still was able to be nicer and more pleasant than the customer service rep from hsn. She heavily sighed when I told her I wanted her to try it and said ‘my computers no different than yours, if it doesn’t work for you it obviously wont work for me’. I questioned why another representative would TELL me to sign up for a discount if I couldn’t use it, she says ‘i obviously wouldn’t know that’. Eventually she went through the order and tells me that I cant use the code for this order because its only for future orders. Obviously I was aggravated at this point seeing as i could have ordered the item nearly three hours prior without this aggravation and I’m completely confused as to why the first rep would tell me to cancel my order and sign up for a coupon i couldnt use! The rep i’m speaking to begins to seemingly get annoyed and says ‘well would you like to order or not’? I said is there a way you can honor the 15% off coupon and she heaves again and almost shouts ‘we just went over this, you cannot use that code for this order’.
After this experience I will NEVER use HSN for any of my shopping needs, truly despicable!Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI have noticed in the past others have voiced a shared frustration with the HSN website. Just an FYI I requested on COMMUNITY CUSTOMER SERVICE:
I have a suggestion to improve your website. This improvement would speed up the online shopping experience and decrease customer frustrations. Amazon has this option when browsing lists of items. Please add the option to display only items that are currently in stock. Below I have displayed how Amazon provides the option to customers. If the customer x’s the box, they display currently out of stock items.
