I wasn’t paying attention and had ordered 5 items before I realized I hadn’t heard anything about the $5.00 shipping. Sorry, HSN, the only reason I shop with you is the shipping discount. Time to empty my cart……
I’ve been reaching out to Crafter’s since 12:30 am when I caught the shipping cost. Hopefully the Vendor’s will deal with HSN once they realize that they have not had sell outs. When I called HSN I was told Not Today.. regarding my question” my cart has not been adjusted for $5.00 shipping.
Shocked. I will not give $5.50 per item at 23 purchases in my case. One lady wrote her shipping charges were $400.00. I truly hope she cancelled her purchases today.
I got on Community page at 12:30 am to inform Crafter’s about the shipping. I already had about $400. In cart almost clicked Submit, but I called HSN three times and due to hold I went to Chat. Finally, both representative said Not today, in regards to $5.00 shipping. No apologies , no explanation. I suggested that us loyal Crafter’s Boycott. Hopefully, the vendor’s will take it up with HSN. No way will I give $5.50 per item at (with me 30 products). I’ve called Anna Griffin s company and left message, wrote Crafters Companion, Cricut too. Anna’s site has a code for free shipping. Crafter’s there is a channel for Crafter’s called Create and Craft in United Kingdom. Shipping this week is capped at $2.99 and US $7.99. Ladies how HSN did this is appauling. Cricuts emails to me listed Cricut Joy at the same price as HSN and they offer shipping coupons. Let’s unite Crafters. Boycott HSN. We will be saving.
Many of us, wait for this $5 shipping as we buy lots of crafts goodies. Not this time. I HATE paying overpriced shipping fees. With what I was buying, my shipping costs would have been the cost of one of my products. Bad idea , Thanks, HSN, my husband just bought me a few pieces of sterling silver from QVC’s Big Silver Day and with FREE SHIPPING, too.
I just went on CC website and ordered a bunch of things I’ve been wanting from them. Spent $76 and got both $10.00 off, (so really I spent $86) and FREE SHIPPING.
Take that HSN. Now I’ve satisfied my crafting spending for the day, and got some nice things I wanted, and didn’t give you a dime.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I didn’t see that. I did notice that when looking at an item, VIP was no longer noted anywhere. I’m not planning on making many purchases, if any, moving forward as HSN is no longer a preferred shopping option for me. Also, I only used VIP Easy Returns on heavy items. I found that combining multiple orders in one box to the same HSN location, it was cheaper to pay my own shipping for returns.
Mine was going to be over $70😱. Emptied cart except for 1 item. Which was an auto ship I didn’t want to miss out on. A couple hundred $. Can’t imagine how the vendors are feeling
. They’ve lost big bucks and had no notice this was going to happen. HSN mistreated them as well as their customers. Dumb move
Many crafters purchase a large number of items on the designated Craft Days with the $5 shipping total for the entire day. With the typically large quantity of items purchased by many people on the Craft Days, many items ordered are sent to the customers in one large box. When HSN is charging a shipping fee for all of the items today, that is unfair to the customers. We usually order between 20 and 30 items (many of the small in size and light in weight) every craft event. If HSN wants to charge shipping for every item on the craft event days, the company should send every box individually, since that is what the customers are paying for. Today, customers were taken by surprise by having to pay individual shipping on each item, even though all of the items will be sent in one large box! Very poor decision by HSN to do this to their loyal craft customers!
I did not purchase anything today because of this. I refuse to pay these shipping fees for multiple item order. I always have a good size order on craft day….. HSN just saved me a lot of money. Blessing in disguise.
I totally agree! HSN is losing out on our money because of these shipping charges. My order would be much larger, like $100 larger if the shipping was reasonable but not now. Also this is craft month and they decided to shortchanged us? That’s like a slap in the face! Beauty seems to always have free shipping so why can’t we? I think this decision will make them lose a lot of crafters which makes me sad for the vendors.
Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI got a reply from hsn to my complaint about no $5 shipping saying that it had been cancelled midafternoon on Monday due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. They’ve been doing $5 shipping on craft days for some time now, and they suddenly have ‘unforeseen circumstances’ that caused them to cancel it at almost the last minute? I wonder what they could possibly be.
Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI also canceled all of my order except for the cricket Joy bundle. HSN is losing $300 due to their high shipping cost. Amazon prime does not have the bundle of coarse but they do have many other things related to Cricut Joy including a card mat for five dollars!
I am sure when Sara finds out the shipping sell out by HSN and how much of her new product was dumped because of the shipping ripoff It will put a dent in the joy of a new launch.
I dumped over $450 my self.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I hope everyone can boycott HSN crafting day. Our dissatisfaction shall not go unnoticed by the geniuses from HSN.
I hope everyone can boycott any craft purchases from HSN today. Our dissatisfaction shall not go unnoticed!
