I am right in line with the rest of you. I am a mature lady who always dressed stylishly in well fitting clothes, not tent dresses or baggy shapeless clothing that is unflattering. There was a time my entire wardrobe came from HSN. I sew, so my criteria was if it was cheaper on HSN than I could make it myself with the escalating costs of good fabric and notions I would buy it. I too remember Maggie Sweet, Slinky, Carolyn Strauss, Terry Lewis (I still have her mink coat , a beautiful caramel colored leather coat with removable fur collar and several leather jackets and of course the incredible Randolph Duke. Because I sew, I appreciated the attention to detail in his clothing. One of his jean jackets I own had all the princess seams accented with closure hooks, Another had all the seams bound in seam binding to prevent freying. Such attention to detail was unheard of in ready-to-wear. I still have most of these clothes and they remain timeless and beautiful. I don’t even look at fashion any HSN. I always thought QVC clothes were for old ladies, so I never ordered much clothing fom that channel, mostly household items and their prices were always much higher than HSN which was a determining factor. If I hadn’t started card crafting recently, I would be spending very little money with HSN. Now with the transition from Florida to Pennsylvania the crafting seems to be falling off, too. I will be saving tons of money in the future if that is the case. Sadly we may be seeing the end of our best online shopping merchant.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI ordered two of these on Nov. 27th – “Officially Licensed NFL Skyline FAN-mily Throw by Pegasus Sports – 49ers” for Christmas gifts for my daughters. One was shipped but the other kept saying “packaging” so I called customer service and they assured me that I would still receive it. I was also sent an email this week saying I would still receive it by Christmas. Today I received an email telling me they had canceled my order because it’s sold out!!!!! This is the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced from any store or online shopping channel. Truly unbelievable when I placed the order the first day they became available on Nov. 27th.
Sheba, sounds like you and hubs are on it for decorating. I’m still waiting for my decor as it’s in the attic but the good news is I have my repaired earrings back. It’s not perfect but thats not obvious. I wore them today as a test run.
I tried to go to a shopping area today and as I was waiting for a spot, another car came in the opposite direction and turned on their signal to turn into the spot I was waiting for, ugh… so I left. I’ll stick to online shopping. Hear that HSN? 🙂
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI’m curious to know if anyone else has had this experience. I received an email notification that 1 of my autoship products was being discontinued. So I went online and found the same product that would substitute for my discontinued product. The autoship price was $99, and the single shipment was $24. I called CS and I was told that there are many products that have different prices depending upon which shipment type they chose. All I know is I have been shopping at HSN for 30 years and I have never seen this before. Anyone else have this experience?
@ennui, I’m glad you see size and fit charts, and I’m trying to figure out how accessing the HSN site a certain way would cause the size charts to disappear. Do you have an example of how this might happen, because that would help everyone who has needed the charts but hasn’t been able to find them. Given how long people on this thread have been complaining — plus @hsn_lynne‘s response that HSN had escalated this problem — it’s more likely to me that HSN recently followed through and was able to restore some (not yet all, but getting better!) of the missing charts. This is the action that we shoppers are looking for (only faster, please, when the complaints start coming in!). After all, HSN, we’re sitting here wanting to buy something from you — wanting to give you our money — and your part is to make the online shopping experience as easy and comfortable as possible. That includes complete information regarding measurements, fit, fabric, washing instructions, etc. We can’t feel the item and read the care instructions, and we can’t try it on.
What is up with the website? I posted 3 weeks ago about the missing images for 901-940 (no response AND they remain missing as of today). Item was again presented TODAY and for today’s live presentation they again did not have grey or cloud available to view DURING THE PRESENTATION! And……the online garment measurement charts have been missing for WEEKS. This is a disappointment and honestly dampens my shopping experience, which should be HSN’s number one concern here – the customer experience.
QVC needs to adopt the online shopping platform of HSN as it is more user friendly.
I’d also tell QVC that Jane Tracey and Shawn K should take cues from the HSN hosts, esp. Callie and Sarah in terms of discussing the product and what is of interest to the viewers. If you want us to shop, then we need to know specifics on the products. These 2 QVC women are more interested in their own personal family stories, looking at themselves in the mirror or shopping while working, leaving the guest host to “sell”. Frankly, when these 2 are on air, I shut it off, as it’s a waste of my time. I prefer hosts like Amy, Leah, Jane and Pat who explain the products and make sure we know what we are ordering.
Odd, I’d think QVC would be equally interested as it would cut down on returns and add to their profitability which has sunk recently.

I gave up on HSN and QVC a long time ago. I do purchase from time to time the basics like a bra, Isaac’s pants and one or two other items. There are so many other online shopping boutiques that are so much better with their offerings, their shipping fees, and the returning of items. Just scout around and take a look. I am so glad I gave up on those two online shopping disasters. All the good designers and all the fashionable clothes are gone and what’s the point?
Posted in Forum: FashionThe models that guide my HSN purchasing decisions were left behind in Florida. Kenya, Carol and Victoria allowed me to see just how the clothes would look or fit on my body. This change will no doubt really limit the clothing that I purchase from HSN. Now I will have to go into the HSN Retail Store to try on things.
I have not seen any PA HSN TRAINED models that will convince me to make a clothing purchase. This is both serious and sad because I loved to purchase things for myself and others online. My daughter is also a focused HSN shopper that feels let down. This change/move may work out for QVC, but the HSN shoppers that I know are not impressed. Shopping on QVC.com is not an option for us.
HSN has always been my “go too” place for online shopping. When companies merge it is never the same. As Airline crew I can assure you, a merger means tension. It will be difficult for the employees on both sides. I wish them all the best. I do shop both networks, but am a bigger fan of HSN. For those who decided to stay behind, all the best to you! For the ones who move, best wishes.
Since I do most of my shopping online, I’m not upset about the move. If HSN hadn’t made a big announcement about moving, I probably wouldn’t have noticed.

I deleted the HSN app on my phone and took HSN off of my bookmarks. The fun of shopping here has been going downhill for quite sometime but this ‘new policy’ of no longer including clearance items on Free Shipping day is it for me!
In June my HSN card with be paid off. After that I’m closing my HSN credit card and deleting my online account here. To whoever it is ruining this once great shopping channel, shove it where the sun don’t shine! I’m OUT!
@hsn_lynne, is there someone specifically I can speak to? Asking for the supervisor last time was disastrous. Michael said I was lying and that i failed to read the small print. That is gaslighting; he was lying, not me! I was belittled and honestly do not want to subject myself to another mean person over the phone that is going to lie to me and make up policies. Michael even said that he had issued $10 in Spendable Kash, which he never did [@HSN_ryan in this forum, however did issue $50 after reading my post]. Another lie from your customer disservice department.
The rep via chat was very polite and gracious, which is why the phone call was particularly shocking. You and Ryan have been wonderful. I do not understand why the phone team is hostile and untrained. I know that your St Pete campus is shutting down, so I do not know if they are on a scorched earth campaign to drive away the last of your loyal customers.
Michael not only was misinformed, but he straight up lied. He reference pretend policies like “introductory pricing” for auto-ship. I have been a customer for 40 years, but I think even a single hour of viewership would familiarize someone with your autoship program. Michael did everything he could to belittle me and drive me away from HSN. He kept reiterating “introductory pricing” that applied only to the first order of this product, which was completely of his own invention. I think sometimes shipping charges may change on subsequent orders, but pricing is always locked in.
I am happy to make another phone call if I can be assured that there is someone available who will not be mean. I am happy to continue shopping with you if I am assured that Supervisor Michael’s bullying is not being tolerated. It sounds like everyone is trying to skirt around the issue that you have a lying bully on staff that is proudly driving away one of your most loyal customers that shells out thousands every year for decades.
I have read online that others have had to call five or six times regarding an autoship pricing error on subsequent deliveries. I have already spent hours trying to rectify this. I cannot express in words how it felt to be bullied and lied to over the phone like that.
Is there someone specific I can ask for or can something be noted on my account so that when I call in I will not be lied to again? I would think that it saying very clearly on your website in multiple places that my price “will never go up” with auto-ship would have been sufficient, but it clearly was not.It would be one thing if Michael was merely misinformed. It would be sad for a customer service supervisor to merely be unfamiliar with how auto-ship worked, but I would not cut ties with HSN over it . But he was claiming I was not smart enough or too lazy to read the fine print, which was a complete fabrication. I am not subjecting myself to being lied to and bullied. HSN is literally paying someone to be cruel to their customers and nobody wants to do anything about it.
HSN is trying to do this and that to save costs and drive sales, but your phone support team is your sales prevention department. The host and website promising me one price and being billed for another is fraud. What Supervisor Michael did is gaslighting and bullying.
I am sorry you feel sad. It saddens me, too, when any store (online or in store) closes that has treated me well. Remember, though. These people are not our friends. They may seem that since you see them everyday in your home., but they are only employees of a company. If they were not getting paid to be there, they would not. I have been a customer since 1989 on both channels. I did most of my shopping with HSN because their prices were more reasonable. I knew things would change when they were combined. I feel bad if any of them lose their jobs, but people in my family lost their jobs over the years. It is the way of the world. They will land on their feet. Sometimes these things have a way of working out better for them. I hope so. In the meantime, enjoy the time you have. Think positive thoughts about what is to come. Change is not always bad.
I am going to miss HSN very much. I have been a customer since they went on air. Antthony was twice his size and a pure delight to watch. Bobby Ray had hair all the way down her back and a horn named Tootie, Dr. John had his white coat and stethoscope and Bob Circosta was an excellent salesman as was Colleen. When I couldn’t sleep I could always turn on HSN in the middle of the night and find some wonderful deals. I still do this but there are not any great deals anymore, just repeats of earlier shows. I do 95% of my shopping online and will continue to do so as long as I can. Thank you HSN for being there all of these years. I have concerns, prayers and positive thoughts for all that will be left behind without jobs. My best wishes to all of you.
