I’ve had my HSN card now for over 4 years. I’ve spent multiple thousands of dollars with HSN. I have autopay set up but last month, for some reason didn’t go through so I made a single payment and thought everything was fine. I then received 2 letters from synchrony bank. One dates 5/25 informing me that the autopay payment didn’t go through and a second dated 5/27 informing me that they closed my account due to too many declined payments. Never in the 4 yrs I’ve had the card, have I had any other declined payments. They are always on time and payments are way more than the minimum amount due. I called and they couldn’t figure out why it was closed but said I need to make another payment and maybe when it posts, I can call back and they might reopen it. It’s already negatively showing up on my credit report as being closed by the creditor and I’ve been working so hard to get my credit to the point that it is now so I’m just angry. What is going on with this company? Is this the new norm now that they are under QVC?
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI tried to log in and make my payment which was due today. I now have to try to locate my HSN card and evidently set up a new account? Also, I got an email from Credit Karma today saying that my HSN Account had been closed by Synchrony Bank. It’s in good standing so I have no idea why they would have done this. Bad decision on HSN’s part.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesSince there have been so many problems with this bank, maybe everyone should get together (there is a name for it, but I can’t remember what it is right now.) and sue Synchrony Bank, just make sure you have your statements, dates they charge you late fees. What the lawyers will do is contact everyone that had/has an account Do it as a group, then one person doesn’t have to pay the lawyers, make them pay the lawyers fee. You will get your late fees back plus some. This bank is not the nicest bank to deal with. Also, if everyone could pull their account and transfer their balances to another credit card, then HSN/QVC would have to change their banks again. Of course, those who can not do this, we are the ones that are stuck and have to abide by their rules. This way Synchrony will not be getting the interest. Good luck everyone. So, far I haven’t had any trouble with them, but will be watching my account very carefully. I am sure they have someone reading this post. Saying what I have suggested I wouldn’t be surprised if they cancel my account.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceHi. I just went to my HSN Credit Card Account and when I try to Log-in there’s a banner that says:
“This account is no longer serviced by Comenity Capital Bank. Please contact your new servicing lender for assistance.”
But there’s no CONTACT NUMBER or LINK to the website where my HSN Account has gone.
Can you help me please? I don’t know what to do now. Thanks.
