The satellite the Rehab uses does not include any of the shopping channels. Using Amazon’s tablet HD may work. And speaking of Amazon, today begins the Scarpetta series. I have been a fan of Patricia Cornwall for a few years and her stories are always breathtaking and a journey that once you are into the characters, the book mesmerizes you into the next phase. I look forward to seeing how Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis inter-relate as sisters. Hope the video does not disappoint. The story line is huge.
I had a strong feeling that yesterday was going to be something else. I read the weather reports online and they were not good. Tornadoes were not ruled out. I cannot fathom the size of those hail stones. I am used to the ones that are a small ice cube size. I only hope that your neighbors are OK. Those things can do tons of damage. I surmise that the kitties and others will be knocking at your door in the morning and again at the usual time. Getting scared during mealtime is not to be taken lightly.
Now getting ready to visit hubs. He has a new roommate. This one also has a home on the Cape in Chatham. It’s just about ten miles from our door to theirs. Be nice visiting when we return. The Chatham beach on the ocean side is extremely beautiful. Loads of sand area and at low tide you can walk a bit into the ocean. However, you need to go at your own risk because of the seals and the “Great Whites.” Never a dull moment in that area. The shopping along the main street is one of the busiest areas. Good luck finding parking. One shop after another offers one of a kind shirts, dresses, pants, original art, etc..The buildings are quite picturesque almost antique looking. Browsing is acceptable. Excellent restaurants on the main road and off the beaten track. Not one bad. Each offers a different cuisine with a nice fish touch. Meat eaters will find many choices as well. Enough said. I must raid our frig. Made myself hungry. LOL

I think QVC is going in the wrong direction and HSN has been trying to pull themselves out of a hole, but they just keep making it bigger with all the poor designers they are allowing to sell on HSN.
Instead of HSN finding really good designers not a name only and start demanding all sizes and quality they will continue to go downhill.
I still like HSN and I love their customer service for the most part the majority are all really helpful and pleasant, but they need to have brands that are great not just any brand that is marketed at a cheap price you can find cheap anywhere people are looking for quality at a good price.
Also, they need to start acting more professional and stop treating the customers like they are morons and tell us over and over where we can use their merchandise, how to wear it where to wear it; it is repetitive chaos that is going to drive customers away. Also, don’t tell us we can’t find a better deal because oh yes, we can and we can find quality to boot. I shop all over & there are a lot of stores that have been around forever that are competitive in pricing, and they sell petites regular and tall in 99% of what they sell.

She sang the entire thing and nobody (like a producer) stopped her. I feel that has no place on a shopping channel; I was shocked! It was very pretty, however to me is just wrong. I’m a believer but that was offensive. Two things to never bring up – politics and religion.
I don’t think you are whiney. I feel the same way. I think the PA models are great. I’m glad the FL models can travel when they can to still be a part of HSN and model the designs.
I miss the old hosts as well. They were a part of my HSN shopping experience for years. I enjoy the PA hosts but I still miss the old team too.
While at Costco, I had time to go down some of the aisles. What I saw was sticker shock. Canned salmon was on top of my list. I saw plenty of tuna. No salmon. Saw a Costco employee and asked. He said the price was too high to sell in the club. I also asked about the Olive Garden Salad Dressing. Again, the price made them not stock it at this time. I enjoy lentils. The ones I usually purchase were 9.95 just a few months ago. Passover is just about a few weeks from now. This is the time I stock up pm Gefilte fish. Last year I could purchase two jars for 9.95. Today, $16.95. Guess I will try making my own. Hubs could not believe the prices. When I stopped at the bakery, the clerks were remarking that the prices will be going up very soon. Found shopping very interesting.

What?? @hsn_kymberlie, I read @beachpaldog OP and the responses, including your response. Yes, companies have the right not to participate in the EZ Return Label program, but HSN MUST INFORM the customer before the purchase that return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. The cost of return shipping is a very important consideration in the transaction, and the OP is 100-percent correct. While I agree with you that this is a matter for “future consideration,” this is also a RIGHT NOW matter, and the OP needs to be reimbursed for the difference between what she paid for on-her-own shipping and the cost of the EZ Return Label. The responses from customers on this thread hit the nail on the head. This needs to be handled ASAP., and I am very surprised and disappointed that a company like HSN that has been in the online-shopping business for years would engage in such nondisclosure.
I agree it would be nice to still have some Anthony designs. I’ve seen comments from others on some brands appearing to be older lady brands and need to appeal to the younger shoppers. We older ladies like to be stylish too and know good brands from experience. Maybe HSN should know and remember a lot of us “older” customers have been long time supporters of this company when it comes to some of these long time established brands. If you want to keep us as customers our opinions should be considered.
I cannot get into the games. Tried different browsers and cleared cache but can only get onto the shopping page and not arcade games.

Good afternoon. It took 45 minutes to arrive home from the Rehab. I missed all the lights. One took 3 times to get through. I could not wait to get indoors. Sat on the bed and the next thing I knew it was 5am. So the computer was closed until now.
I ordered Sicilian eggplant as an appetizer last night from our favorite pizza place. I expected just a couple of slices, but No, it was in a huge aluminum pan with a cover. The bottom of that pan was hot hot hot. There were a couple of slices left when the aide came in to retrieve the dinner trays. She never asked if we were done with the food. She put it on the dinner cart and off she went. That will teach me to cover it up and put it with the tote that I use daily. Anyway, it was more than enough for two meals. And this was an appetizer. Both of us were astonished at the portion size, especially for an appetizer.
Yes, hubs ate a full dinner besides the appetizer. My, he has a good appetite. Dessert was applesauce in a hoodsie cup. And he still asked for cookies following. Last night I also ordered a grinder with sausage, cheese and peppers. I had a little this morning and will have the rest at dinner if I’m hungry. Since the fall, my appetite has gone downhill. I need to lose some weight, so am thankful that it is coming off. I need to start walking again, but the weather is still too cold here. Today it is in the 50s, but with the wind chill factor it feels like 35. Now will get ready to see hubs. Will do some food shopping tomorrow. The weather here is crazy. No wonder people are getting sick. Warm up is next week. Cold temps are on the horizon. So what else is new????
Maybe you guys should shop somewhere else instead of trasing the designers. HSN sells clothing for all types of bodys young and old, so maybe you won’t like anything for a while,…it will be good for your pocket book. I have shooed DG2 for over 20 years and miss her because no one can replace her style for her line like she would do. there are others that I also like as well. I don’t think that I have to like every designer at HSN or QVC, but there a few at both that I specifically shop for . I try not to trash the bransds, but I do have issue with one brand that continues to make pants for the tall models vs. the average person. Other than that I really go after the hosts as many of them get on my last nerves thinking that they should talk more than the brand rep. They also speak about the cclothin as “their” items that are out of stock etc. It is not their items at all, but they all tend to speak that way…ew!!!!
I started this post last month.
I have a different issue but here goes. This has happened to me twice with a certain line (JS). An item that I order was not what I got. I do not order “AS IS” but that’s what I got once and now an item is on it’s way that has been flagged an “AS IS” and since it was ordered the price went down 8 dollars!
Of the 7 items I received yesterday I will be returning all but one. I will wait for the next AS IS that is on its way and include that in the box.
AND one of the items I am returning is a sweater that has a matching camisole…NO camisole was included in my shipment.
I will be paying shipping again.. What a shame,
Reality check I guess I’m shopping too much, set sucked in by the designer name sometimes. Enough taking a break. Do I always need everything? Probably not, I hope to watch but not buy. -
