It is so sad since HSN moved!!! No plus size models, all skinny. Before had variety of models showing clothes on diff sizes, also tall, reg, petite models. Its like the awful way QVC does there show kinda. QVC just has pre taped tall skinny models not even in studio.
It seems QVC has destroyed what a wonderful shopping show HSN use to be. Now it seems I cant even get HSN, QVC in antenna TV. Iam not privledged like some people! I cant afford cable, streaming because have to buy several to see a few shows. I dont even have good internet.
Guess I wont be shopping here anymore if you make it harder for someone to access your show & really went downhill. Now seems having hosts be host & model more than before.
Oh & some of the designers dint want to have petite sizes & the lengths are seriously way to long, like on tall people can wear, not even reg. I cant & wont be altering everything because expensive! O guess you just want tall, skinny, rich women buying your clothes now. Iam sorry for HSN that QVC is dragging you down. They should of used your previous show as the perfect model for shopping network for womens fashions.
I had previous issues with HSN being decietful & ripping me off by forcing me to use spendable kash. That is a whole other hugh issuePosted in Forum: FashionI’m confused. Why are a lot of the items on the HSN website showing QVC models? Are they not able to use HSN models? I see some photos of Liv, but everyone else is QVC, and recognizable as QVC models.
Almost thought I was shopping on QVC for a second… I dislike that. Wish they only used HSN models.
Posted in Forum: FashionDo you remember when HSN used to feature clothing that collaborated with a theme from upcoming Movies. All Designers like Heidi Daus ,Victoria Wieck and Anthony used to design products for the featured Movie collaborations. HSN usedto feature Joan Boyce, Iris Appel and a host of others that were fantastic and unique. La Joie , Avec Les Filles and Trish McEnvoy to name a few. This was Pre-Qurate takeover. 4 flex pay was the NORM, this switch to 2 and 3 flex pay is crazy. HSN had better shoe lines featured.Steve Madden created fantastic shoes only available on HSN.Perlier and Korres used to offer beautiful sets for the Holidays. Now it’s just generic merchandise. I like Christie Brinkley, Vivica Fox and Jacqueline Smith when they were on Shop NBC not so great as the end all for HSN.Overall, HSN used to carry better brands and more unique products. They got rid of Iman which is a shame. I still have handbags from Joy/Iman collab years ago. I started with HSN from Day 1 so I remember when they were head to head with QVC. Those days are long gone.Sad as I watch the slow and steady decline of a great shopping platform.
Posted in Forum: HSN TVHello, I started to noticed how the flex pays have gone down. Is there a reason for this? I am saving money because I can’t afford large payments. I was looking at a dress tonight and it only has two flex payments on a $60 purchase. I started shopping because of the flex pays. On the last craft day. I couldn’t do what I would usually do because of the larger payments. However, I guess I am being weaned off shopping like this.
Also, who are these models on tv? So far I can’t relate to any of them and not to be negative, but a gal with a permanent smile is just freaky.
Just FYI for HSN, I shop for clothes most of the time on QVC. Hsn needs more variety. Just because some younger people are shopping line doesn’t mean they will remain loyal as your older customers
Posted in Forum: Health & WellnessI have written to HSN and QVC on this subject for months. I get no response. I and my family have been shopping on HSN for years. We have purchased many things, and like most people, we have become somewhat attached to the hosts and guest hosts. As a retired business consultant, I fully understand the economies of consolidation. QVC has decided that it is in their economic interest, long term, to consolidate operations in one location. Good luck with that and May you achieve success.
Having said that, you are being more than a little short sighted with the future of your guest hosts and some of the models and support staff that served their appearances. Through out the COVID shutdown, you allowed remote broadcasts. Guest hosts did this effectively using inadequate lighting and facilities. The job was still effective. I have contacted some of the outstanding product presenters that we know, love, trust, and purchase from. They tell me they were offered no choice. Either move to PA or “see you later.”
I found this very dismissing of not only your fantastic guest hosts, but of your HSN viewers as well. I must conclude by your lack of response to my previous communication attempts, and the choices these fine people have been given, that the “see you later” goes for customers as well. The quest hosts I contacted are both males and have been with HSN for over ten years.
Both indicated they would set up proper remote areas at their expense if asked. Both said they would continue. Why doesn’t HSN continue with these great people? Your customers love them, trust them, and buy from them regularly. One man is so good at what he does his last five presentations were sell outs. HSN must realize after all these years that it is not always a wonderful product selling itself. It is the quality of the presentation.Lastly, their is no question that you can do remote guests easily. I watched yesterday as the outstanding chef Curtis Stone did remotes all day.
Recently, my aunt purchased a Lounge Doctor based on the recommendation of the guest host. Please take a moment to offer remotes to such people as Bob Circosta and Matt Peters. Your customers will appreciate it and so will the venders that they work with. Please help.

Posted in Forum: HSN TVI must admit I am a little nervous about HSN moving to PA. I know that at first, there will be little to no change, but eventually, it will change. I shop at both HSN and QVC. I spend thousands yearly on shopping with HSN and QVC. I think HSN is much better in terms of pricing, and the hosts are more informative. I do think QVC should model after HSN. I like the host on QVC, but what was said in some of the other posts is true. Sorry, I don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. HSN is my favorite, but the former shopping network Shop HQ, which went out of business, was more informative with product information. I wish all the hosts, both on QVC and HSN, much success. What happened to the models on HSN? I miss them. Sorry, the models on QVC are not as good at modeling clothing as HSN models. I just don’t know what it is. There is no personality there. I’m sorry that some of the models didn’t make the move. I hope that HSN keeps giving us great, affordable products
