Major Complaint – Mahjongg Dimensions
First of all, I love this game and play it every day. HOWEVER, it is impossible for me to ever finish that third Tower! By the time I get to the third tower, I have about 2 minutes left. Sometimes a little more; sometimes a little less.
I can’t tell you how frustrating it is, totally frustrating to know, that I will never ever finish that third tower!
Is there any way to add another minute of time to the game??
And I’m no slacker, I play the Toy Chest every day, and quite often score 8,500 or better, having scored a couple times in the 9,000 range. I’m generally able to “win” at Toy Chest, making all the matches and clearing the board. So this “impossibility” with Mahjongg Dimensions, the total inability to EVER finish that game is just completely frustrating.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM, OR IS IT JUST ME???
Is there any way to add another minute to the game???
I totally agree with you. I usually only have from 15 sec to 1 min. 30 sec. to work on the 3rd level which is very frustrating to be sure. I see I’m far behind everyone else here. I try too hard to do 4 or 6 on the first & then try too hard to get 4 together on the second level so never have enough time for the 3rd. Is there any key to getting more time anyone? I’ve tried just getting thru with only two matches on each level which does give me more time for 3rd level, but then my scores are very low, lucky to break 20,000 that way. Any suggestions? I love this game & find I’m addicted to it but it takes so long to do this one & it only gives 50 tickets. If I’m looking to get a lot of tickets, the best route is to do other games like 52 Pickup & Arctic Tri-Peaks.
Many people I talked with (not online, but real life) like to play but not with a timed game. They like to relax. My mom said she wouldn’t touch a game that times you. She just wants to play & enjoy. I don’t mind the timing; I like to try to beat my own scores.
I love playing Mahjongg Dimensions, but that 3rd level does me in every time. i think i’ve convinced myself I can’t do it and it’s preventing me from doing it. I also love Bryx, I have gotten close to getting off of Mars, but no cigar. Someday….
I saw a video of someone completing Bryx and they were using a special gaming keyboard and mouse and had it rigged to where they could use the mouse and keyboard at the same time using two hands, so were making matches by accident just by opening so many tiles at once. So I am pretty proud that just using a regular keyboard and mouse I’ve come so close.
I play this game everyday and it takes a while to get to the point where you can clear level 3. when you do get to level 3 start at the bottom in the center. Most of the matches will be close together and it doesnt take long. Dont forget to turn the tower if you’re at a point where you cant see any matches.
justwanthelp, Mahjongg Dimensions just takes a lot of practice. I used to play at least 15 or 20 games every day. I spent a lot of time learning to get through all 32 matches on the first level without a break. I usually finish that level in 30-40 seconds. I’m working on doing the same thing on the second level, but haven’t made it all the way through except one time. I can usually be pretty sure of having enough time to clear the third level if I have about 4 minutes left on the timer; but I have cleared it with as little as 3 minutes 20 seconds. It’s mostly a matter of learning to spot and make matches quickly. I still probably only finish all the way through level 3 about 10% of the time.
I used to think I’d never make it through that third level, too. Just keep practicing and you’ll make it through one day. After that it will seem a little easier to do it a second time.
I do play on a desktop with a mouse.
I have this same problem. I fall apart on Level Three, and even though I really like this game, it IS frustrating to never be able to finish. To be honest, I don’t even come close. I have no problem most of the time finishing Toy Chest, which is one of my favorite games.
I’ve gotten through all 3 levels but only on my laptop with a mouse. I’ve tried it on my phone and my scores are always worse (same with Flip Out, and the puzzle). I thought I’d be faster with tapping a screen, but nope.
Unfortunately there is no way to add time to Mahjongg. One of these days you will get through level 3. I have only done it twice.
