I’m not able to make a payment on my HSN card since synchrony took over. I called Hsn because I wanted to make my payment by phone since I couldn’t find my card. They said I would be getting a new card & today i received my bill with past due amount and no replacement card.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Pay my bill’, it’ll take you to the bank’s site and just set up a new account…like you did originally. But you’ll need you HSN account number, I had to hunt for my card to get it. I could set my ‘new’ account up just like the old one. I haven’t had any problems but then I have other Synchrony accounts so they might have recognized my e-mail. Good luck 🙂
I haven’t gotten my first Synchrony HSN bill yet. We will still get paper bills right? I never pay mine online.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI have been trying to speak to someone and paying my bill and it proofes impossible. If and when you finally get someone on the phone, they pretend that they cannot hear you or the phones are staticky and disconnect you. However
When dialing the same number but choose ordering options, THEY HEAR YOU VERY CLEARLY AND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE LINE.
My acc has been transferred to synchrony and I have no info on this and have a small balance to pay but to no avail. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and Consumer Affaires. When you go into the HSN sure online, click “pay my bill” . You need to scroll down and click register because there original card was taken over my synchrony Bank. Even if you were registered before it’s a new synchrony account so you have to do it again. You would need your account number though so maybe an old statement otherwise I don’t know. Good luck.
I registered my HSN credit card number with Synchrony over a week ago. I received a confirmation email and a bill pay reminder with a link to access my account. I have tried for over a week on three different devices to log into my account and pay my bill. I am unable to access my account. Keep getting a process error message that says they are having technical difficulty retrieving my account information and to try again later. This is beyond frustrating. Called Synchrony and they had absolutely no idea why I’m getting the message and can’t access my account. The woman I spoke with tried to tell me it was because I registered my HSN card and not the new one, which I haven’t received yet and I’d have to re-register. I know that’s not right because the latest email I received shows the last four digits of my new card number, so I know they’re connected. Guess I’m just going to have to pay my bill by phone.

Had to make phone call as the on line option would not work. Bill was due. Cannot make a purchase as I have no new number. HSN made a huge mistake. Will be shopping elsewhere.
Just received letter today 9/4 about after August 22nd to submit payment to Synchrony Bank no other info like account number. Well I received a bill with a due date 9/10 and I paid it through my online banking on 9/2 what about that payment? They are really making this a pian. If they knew that payments after August 22nd would no longer be going to Comenity they should of had this straightened out before then and not send us bills. Have our new credit cards in hand and account numbers so we can properly pay our bills to the correct bank. Now what happens to those who paid there bills that were due on 9/10 to the other bank? Is my account going to be properly credited??
Wow! No wonder I’m still having issues. I even tried logging on again this morning and it didn’t work. Thanks for taking the time to post your experience. I did get a hold of a CSR (cust. svc. rep) at Synchrony (their voice recognition system is horrible by the way) and finally pay my bill over the phone at extra NO CHARGE to me. The CSR even tried to log into the same website as me and got the same error, so I feel a little validated. Meanwhile, my BBB complaint was forwarded to the Ohio office of Synchrony and hopefully will get some attention and resolution. Someone in the C-Suite at HSN and Synchrony has dropped the ball here and left the customers floundering.

Alas, Tatianna is incorrect. I was told that we don’t have to wait until we get the new cards and, indeed, that is the case. I made a payment to my account at the Synchrony site just today. If you follow my instructions, you will be able to get to the site, register with your existing HSN Account number, and make a payment.
Tried everything to access my account, to pay it online. Even tried to re-register the card on the Synchrony/HSN site. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I Just spoke to Tatianna from Synchrony/HSN (1-844-889-9676) & she advised me that I cannot pay my bill online, until I receive the new credit card, with my new account number. Once received, I must register that new card, create a new user I’d & password & then I can pay it online. Should get the new card by approximately September 7th. Good job HSN, ever hear of communication??🤷🏻♀️
What a disaster! Synchrony just sent me a letter(9/3) that Comenity should not receive any payments from me as of 2 weeks ago. The most recent bill I got from Comenity said to send payment by 9/10, What? My head is spinning.. So I called Synchrony and asked what to do and was told in so many words ” NOT OUR PROBLEM”. They told me to call Comenity and try to get my money back myself. You call this a bank transition? They even suggested that I might have to sue them to get my money back, Bottom line? I have to pay a great amount of money twice and then try to get the other bank to pay me back. HSN, is this the best you can do? If so I’m shopping elsewhere.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI made an account with synchrony bank with my hsn card and now when I try to sign in to pay my bill it says try later. I don’t want to have to pay late just because they are having difficulties. Help!
Hi goldie530, sorry you are experiencing difficulties not able to access the online page to pay your bill. My issue with this bank switch is different, I did not have my account number. I had to go through hoops to get it in order to register online as both Comenity and Synchrony left me high and dry stating they do not have my HSN card number and I have to wait a month or 2 to get my new card before I can register for online access. What I did is from a credit report that I pulled last June, I had the 12 numbers at the beginning and then an old statement dated over 10 years ago had the last 4 digits. This is how I was able to register with my HSN card number which is unacceptable because during this transition no one should have been inconvenienced or should it be so difficult to pay bills online. I will definitely close my account soon. I know closing a long standing account can hurt your credit score but at this point, I do not care and I am very upset for the trouble I had during this conversion.
I would suggest to try to clear the Cookies on your device. Go to the HSN homepage, click on Account on the right side of your screen, go down to where it says HSN Card – Pay bill. Click on it and it will bring you to the Syncrony-Hsn site, click on Pay online. If you had already registered, put in your log in information. If not, click on register and again in order to do so you will need that almighty account number.

I originally filed a complaint with Synchrony Corporate Headquarters over this issue. I received no response, so that’s why I went to BBB and CFPB. I just want Synchrony to fix their website. It really shouldn’t be this difficult to get some acknowledgement from them to help those of us who are still experiencing difficulty. I have a few other Synchrony accounts and have never had this type of situation where it seems they just don’t care. While I am glad many of you had a painless experience with the transition, those of us who haven’t are clearly frustrated and Synchrony is doing nothing to help us. It really should not be this difficult to pay a bill online. I logged in again this morning and got the same “We’re sorry…” message. I’m pretty sure it’s not my browser, as I have tried logging in with three different devices, at 3 different locations, multiple times with no success.
