Seems to be major problems at HSN. People not getting prizes that they won, no follow-up when contacting representatives, trivia games forgotten, etc.

I enjoy HSN games and although I have never won anything, I like to use the points to sign up for the weekly prizes. There’s always a chance that I might win something! I enjoy the EGGZ game, but I do not get the points. All I get is a black screen. Is there anything I am doing wrong on my part? Thank you very much.

IMHO, the games are rigged. The major problem is, the new owners could care less about this marketing tool. Yes, the games are a marketing tool. They are created to keep their products in front of your eyes, in hopes that you will be tempted to purchase their expensive products.

The winners you see are more than likely employees of Arkadium. They could even be “bots”…

HSN has new owners. The odds of a real person winning the prizes are slim to none. And since the new owners took away 2 pages of prizes, the odds are stacked against a human player.

But if you like playing the games for the fun of playing games. I do not see anything wrong with that. The problem is, when the new owners decide to get rid of the arcade altogether, all of your tickets will be donated to a charity, as $$ value donation, you will never see them again.

I love playing the games. 10 years & never won any of the prizes. I always enter the max amount of tickets. Would be nice to win something. Good luck to all of us.

I don’t think anyone is happy with the games, points, or prizes in the HSN Arcade! However, do you know that most of these games can be played on multiple other sites online? Even the ones that have been removed here. You probably won’t be able to win points (what does that get you, anyway?), but you can just play for fun and the challenge. AARP is one site that has games you can play for points, but they don’t always have prizes, either. Just Google the game and check out the different sites to see which one you might want to use. Have fun!

I agree about the games. I loved Metro Match. It was a simple matching game but challenged my memory which is why I play them. I am older and need to keep my memory active and I was pretty good at that game. I don’t like the childish ones either or so complicated I can’t figure them out. I might have to quit too. I also agree about the prizes. They used to have 3 pages with good prizes. Now it might just be a bar of soap etc.

My most favorite games are GONE (Bryx, Score, and a half dozen others). The “new” games seem tedious and dull.

The prizes are few and often cheap (remember three pages’ worth?)

I know we should appreciate that the games exist at all, but I’m not impressed with their value. (I miss the days of the cryptograph puzzles.)

I thought there were games that you were able to use your current tickets to play. I have over 1 million current tickets, and since they’ve cut back on entering the prizes, I just can’t seem to lower them. Not that it’s a big deal I guess. I was just wondering. Too bad I can’t gift them. You used to be able to donate to charities with them but I guess they stopped that also. Thanks for the advice.

I also thought the 100k score-to-beat was unrealistic. I have been playing this game for years also and my all-time best barely beat 92,000. I simply strive to finish/”win” the game and have fun, and my skills have gotten better over time. My advice is to relax, enjoy yourself, and your scores will automatically improve. I don’t pay too much attention to winning any prizes, but through the weekly prize-winning games, I have been introduced to games I hadn’t previously paid much attention to and now they are some of my favorites.

The odds are tremendously against almost everyone who plays these games.

However, a few years ago, one’s chances were a tad better. Remember when there were 4 PAGES of prizes available each week?

That dwindled down to one page of prizes that are often pathetic.

The Arcade Games are bait for HSN to get shopping traffic to their sites.. It is a global online retailer. It is perfectly legal for them to do it. The problem is the bait turns into being a lottery. A game of chance. Normally a “lucky” person will win from time to time as with any games of chance. The illegal part of this equation is: 1. Computer bots and seasoned hackers playing against humans. If you see a player with millions of points in games on a daily basis,, 10 times out of 10 they are bots/hackers. This makes them guaranteed winners of prizes. 2. Rogue Company employees. Arcadium, HSN, & QVC rogue employees can manipulate the games in their favor. If you win at all as a human, you are very lucky. IMHO opinion, if you just enjoy playing arcade games for fun, then all these games can be played anywhere on the internet, but if you want to win prizes these days this is one of the places, but the odds are tremendously against you here.

My deepest sympathy for your loss Collielover, it’s painful to lose people we love. I play these games to keep my mind busy, to avoid thinking about my problems. I’ve been playing for the past 7 years winning many times, it was exciting and it was something to look forward to, now that the prizes have diminished it’s harder to win, the commercials are annoying I agree. Things have changed and not for the better, but I’m still here enjoying the games. Keep on playing and maybe soon your turn will come to win.

I play the games to try and beat myself (competitive spirit) and to relieve stress. I recently lost my mom and my sister a few months apart and I miss them dearly. I can play the games and let my mind be transferred from missing them to competing with myself. I have noticed that we “used” to have 2 sometimes 3 pages of “prizes” to purchase with tickets we won from the games. That has diminished to “1”. We “used” to have double tickets and that was fun to see them really add up. Now this commercial ad that interrupts each game is something else. I believe when a company gives incentives they reap great rewards. Take away, take away, take away leads to greed. I have been trying for months to “win” a prize and am still waiting. Perhaps someday I will get lucky.
