The move to PA is going to be great for my pocketbook, I won’t be watching the show! The sets are cheap looking with the fake palm frawns in the window, the art work on the walls are all very generic not pleasing. The hosts are not as knowledgeable of the products. They repeat the same description without inserting any personality. Whoever is dressing and staging the models when there are any needs help putting clothing items together that match. Very disappointed in this move. I came from PA and would love to know why they didn’t move from PA to FL if only for the state tax aspect. Bye bye hsn. . .
Posted in Forum: FashionKailey and Nola models are stuffed into sizes that are not becoming to them on the Nina Leonard narrow leg pant. They look ridiculous. HSN needs to put the models in their proper sizes as they look like they are sausaged into clothing that clearly don’t fit.
Posted in Forum: FashionAs an HSN shopper for over 35 years, I appreciate that full-figured models are still a part of your team! At first it seemed that with the location and staff changes, models were all of a slender build. I am pleased that lately at least two fuller-figure models were given on-air time, especially since many of us are size 16 and above! It is also refreshing that my favorite host, Debbie D., is still at HSN, she is an absolute delight and even though she is taller than me, it helps that I can identify with her fit size when I consider purchasing clothing items that she happens to model!”. Thank you HSN, for understanding that we are not all slender body types!
Posted in Forum: HSN TVI wanted to let everyone at HSN KNOW- especially BRYNN EDWARDS & those who hired her- SHE is SPECTACULAR! I had her on during Marla Wynn hours with Marla’s daughter, then Marla. She is knowledgeable, pleasant, engaging, fun, not programmed or repetitive & excellent with the guests & models. She is natural & seems genuine. She didN’t talk over the guest, yet she complimented her in terms of knowing about the items being sold. She wore the clothing well- looked beautiful in items she was wearing. She reminds me of my favorite host/ Valarie Stup- a ray of sunshine! She seems like a seasoned, very professional & comfortable host. I hope to see her doing many more fashion shows.
I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 yrs., & like many, was saddened when the company moved from Tampa, FL. I’m glad to see some of my favorite hosts such as Debbie D. Tamara Hooks, Bobbie R. Carter for a little longer, & brand ambassadors like Faith Marlow & Colleen Lopez- her brand. I do miss all the lovely models who’ve been there for years.
I understand it’s a major adjustment for everyone in the company & their families. I wish EVERYONE INVOLVED W/HSN SUCCESS, Happiness,& the absolute BEST!
Please pass my comments along to Brynn. She deserves to be recognized.Posted in Forum: FashionWhy can’t they have a small studio in Florida for the models there to model the clothes at least when there are today’s special value clothing.
They can still communicate with the hosts but it’s just like they are in a different room.I hate the way the models are presented now we are lucky if we get 1 model and they are very inexperienced I can’t believe being so close to Philly and New York this is the best they can get?
For me seeing all the different models in 1 room styled different ways helped me visualize how I could style the garment.
I feel like I’ve bought much less the way they show the clothing now.
HSN/QVC give us what we want! We want our Florida models back on HSN!!!Cut the fat in other places, like some ego driven executive who thinks he knows more about the customer than we do.
I love my QVC models on QVC but I want my old HSN models to be back on HSN. They made the show and clothing come alive.
Another thought, perhaps fly in the models to PA for the TSV?
I’m not going to buy if I don’t like the way the item is presented, the models actually sell the clothes not the rambling hosts who are scrambling to sell the item and fill in time because they have nothing to show. Seeing something on a hanger does not help me visualize the item and how it might look on me!Come to the light HSN/QVC
Posted in Forum: FashionI absolutely enjoy watching Antthony present his line of clothing. Anji talks constantly and never shuts up. She paws at those poor models. I am watching with the mute on as her constant neverending talking gives me a headache. I can’t watch her anymore. Antthony needs to come back!
Posted in Forum: FashionWhat has happened? These models are horrible to say the least. Why didn’t you include several models to move up to Pennsylvania? These models are killing the clothes. Not one of them is up to standards. Dumpy looking and cheapens out the clothing.
Posted in Forum: HSN TVI must admit I am a little nervous about HSN moving to PA. I know that at first, there will be little to no change, but eventually, it will change. I shop at both HSN and QVC. I spend thousands yearly on shopping with HSN and QVC. I think HSN is much better in terms of pricing, and the hosts are more informative. I do think QVC should model after HSN. I like the host on QVC, but what was said in some of the other posts is true. Sorry, I don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. HSN is my favorite, but the former shopping network Shop HQ, which went out of business, was more informative with product information. I wish all the hosts, both on QVC and HSN, much success. What happened to the models on HSN? I miss them. Sorry, the models on QVC are not as good at modeling clothing as HSN models. I just don’t know what it is. There is no personality there. I’m sorry that some of the models didn’t make the move. I hope that HSN keeps giving us great, affordable products
Posted in Forum: FashionBeen watching closely the last 2 weeks and I think a lot of the new models are doing great and here are my favorites so far
Joyce is great. She looks natural and has the sweetest reactions when the host interacts with her. It’s great to see an older demographic be represented and a shorter height too.
Liv is stunning. She has been in my top to watch recently. I can’t get over how pretty she looks and even in some questionable outfits. I think she is a very valuable asset to the new HSN. Is she from PA? Really great
Lori has apparently worked there for a little while because she said she did a first show for the one designer, so she has been great too. Again it’s nice to have diversity in age, and I like when they pair a younger and older model together. What is her age? She looks good!
Felicia is also very pretty. That head of hair, wow! Is that all of her hair? She needs to sell hair products! She really looks cute again in some questionable outfits. Is she doing beauty too? Need that hair tutorial!
I like Rafaela too, her personality seems so great and the clothing looks great on her! Also a great asset to HSN!
The initial transition was rough but wow what a difference a few weeks make! Watched what a girl wants with Tina last night and it was so great! Energy and fun! Did not catch the other models name but she was cute! Love HSN! Do the models have social media accounts? What agency does HSN use? Looks good
