Why do HSN top quality designers always end up either cheapifying their goods, or they disappear altogether (ala, Joan Boyce). The entire lure/attraction to Heidi’s jewelry line was the Swarovski crystals she used (well known in the industry to be the best). Her followers are Swarovski fans – those that have lots of Swarovski jewelry – so what does she do? – starts buying cheap crystals from China – goodbye quality line. Marlawynne – known for her superior line of fabrications & quality – what does she do? – starts using cotton & acrylic far cheaper fabrications – quality of goods – “going down” – why can’t these designers get what it is that put them on the map??? Joan Boyce – top fave designer – gone – what did HSN do wrong to lose her??? Either their few quality designers cheapify their goods – or they disappear – why can’t HSN & their designers get that some shoppers are actually shopping quality & cater to them as well as those that are merely shopping price?????

I would also love to see Elysee back on HSN. I know Linda has sold the co., but a news letter stated Linda would still be involved with the co., and the formulations would not be changed. However ~ I’ve not been able to find out who bought the Elysee co., and I’m really puzzled “why” the new owners are not informing customers on what’s going on! It’s quite odd, really.
Had my share of too many issues with synchrony bank in establishing my checking account. Due to their error they closed my account. Keep in mind I’m never late on my payments & I’ve been a loyal customer of HSN for years & brought a ton of items. I’m done with this bank. But not a problem as I’m in the process of paying off the account $265 balance & sticking with Amazon.

Ho @roslaund, if you type in Footnanny in the HSN search bar it pulls up all of the products. Make sure you’re searching in the HSN site, not the HSN Community search bar.
Andrew Lessman and Heidi Daus are really my favorites and are most of my purchases . Korres is also a favorite (great quality ) and I am very happy Iman (CLASSY lady) is returning (:
I was heartbroken when HSN dropped Sharif .. I had never felt so sad over anyone leaving as I did when Sharif ElFouly left – he also seem sad , He was just tossed aside . He is still very much alive and doing ok .
I do not buy or watch Evine , ShopHQ or whatever they call it now.
I do buy Sharif purses on eBay and Amazon .I buy occasionally from QVC – Peter Thomas Roth , Dr Denise and Wen
HSN was my first choice to shop for years. I miss the old HSN and keep hoping it returns.
Saharajane I have been shopping elsewhere for shoes since the fit at HSN is no longer there. Seems I either need to go up or down a size depending upon the shoe and the manufacturer. Rather than do the returns, I now go locally and found they are less expensive. Shipping from other retail outlets is usually free and they have free returns as well. Like Pinkdoll, I do enjoy Jay King as well as Chaco Canyon, Heidi Daus and once in a while Rarities. On other occasions I shop at the Liquidation Channel where they have a certain percentage off on a daily basis. Their jewelry line is gorgeous. Also looking forward to IMAN. On another note, I do not enjoy watching QVC or Shop HQ.
Also, HSN drove me to Shop HQ (formerly called Evine) when they dropped jewelry designer, Nicky Butler. Now I watch him there & shop.
The biggest draw to HSN for me, is Jay King. I go out of my way to watch him, like a TV show. He’s also what got me watching HSN in the first place. Before that, I had never watched any shopping channel. I don’t care much for QVC. The only thing I’ll watch over there is Carolyn Pollack – American West. But I don’t think her jewelry is as good of value as Jay King. Other than that, I’m not interested in QVC’s products…and I don’t connect with their hosts. But if HSN’s prices keep going up, I’ll be buying less & less.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI use to be an avid HSN shopper and purchased many items from Joy Magano and Iman, even handbags from Sharif while he was alive and featured on HSN. QVC has frumpy clothes and boring accessories which seemed more overpriced then HSN items. Stopped shopping on HSN when I no longer recognized the designers. The platform for selling items via on air talk hosts is fading out. Younger generations don’t have time nor interest to sit and listen to endless descriptions of items on their tv or even on Ipads, phones, etc. It’s become so trendy to buy used and save $ because consumers are being inundated with so many outrageous fees on credit card interest rates of which HSN has one of the highest via Synchronicity. The convenience of spreading out payments to purchase more expensive items just isn’t worth it. HSN/QVC have too much competition. My favorite brands such as Bzees or Clarks shoes are sold on other sites which offer constant discounts. HSN offers minimal discounts and always on non clearance items. Don’t waste your $ on HSN/QVC, or comparison shop before buying on HSN.

Posted in Forum: BeautyI was thinking about ordering the TS and as usual,researched the product online. I was shocked to see numerous complaints filed with the BBB. I don’t put a lot of stock in the BBB but it’s always worth reading the complaints. What was even more disturbing was the responses by the company. Some were argumentative and downright unprofessional. From what I read, any negative comments or requests for help are met with being blocked on social media. So, I am undecided but doubt I’ll order. My luck, I’ll end up with a bad one that quits working after the 30 days and I’d have to deal with their customer service. I also find it suspicious that there are many posts on HSN’s Facebook claiming Head Kandy has excellent customer service. Hmm…Not according to posts elsewhere.
Skittles: Something came to mind from your post. Maybe Joan could join forces with other vendors who sell on-line and used to be on HSN, QVC, etc. (or not) and form a home shopping marketplace, pooling their resources for advertising and maybe even purchasing power. This could include Lisa Robertson’s line and Elysee possibly, and even perhaps some others. Could you copy this and post it on Joan’s FB page, since I’m not on FB? If some successful brands like those I’ve mentioned joined forces and advertised, they might increase their sales over what they’d make on their own. I’m no expert, but it’s worth suggesting.
Posted in Forum: ShoesI recently started buying HSN shoes again. I hadn’t not bought shoes for the past 10 yrs on a regular basis until around Christmas about 10 pair. I must say the irregularity in sizing is shocking.
No notice. We are left to figure it out. Just plain rude.
I am not a huge fan of this line, but I still have some of her pieces.

Most of my favorite vendors are gone from HSN.
