I agree with you, Sandi. It seems that only certain posters are entitled to express his/her opinions. I have been a customer for almost as long as you have been. I have every right in the world, as does anyone else, to express my opinion and or concern. Let me say something. Whatever is going to happen to HSN, will happen and it was in the works long before the move. I like HSN and miss many of the hosts. That being said I am not watching HSN with my precious time to see the hosts. I would like to see more product variety. I have expressed that on prior posts. Since I don’t seem to be seeing that variety, and that was long before the move, as consumers, we can see where this is going.

I’ve had 2 strokes ( that’s what the wrinkles on the left lower side of my mouth are from) brain surgery and I’m old. I’ve earned all my wrinkles and sun spots etc. I have not had fillers, Botox etc. I DO believe in taking care of oneself and trying to live healthy. I was introduced to Skinn via HSN around 2002. As Dimitri has created and enhanced the line, my skin has just get better and better. I LIVE with SKINN and am often asked what I do because I don’t look my age. I gladly tell them about SKINN.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion but give it a chance to see how it works before cracking your whip. HSN has moved to another city with new hired People in a shared building. They are trying to stay afloat but its some people who is looking for fault to not be perfect . I am not saying its you. I have also been a customer for years like millions more but I believe in giving a person, a business time to grow and get better while they are going through transitioning. Nothing remains the same who knows this might just be a good money saving business move. As far as the new models they will also get better with time and I think they are good as well as the host ..
Not mean.Truthful and expressive.We spend money and if we have opinions as paying longtime customers so be it! I spend money on QVC as well as HSN since day one. The QVC unit is tight and coordinated. Quarter treats HSN like the homely stepchild and it is evident more now than ever.Thank goodness for the seasoned hosts that made the move because they are trying their best to keep it together. The PA models are all over the place and not up to standards. The models from Florida deserved more than what they got…the kaboot. They added value and it was not appreciated or reciprocated when HSN moved.
I am finding fault because I spend money as a longtime customer. Time? Get better with time?Are you kidding? Time is of essence as the retail environment is treacherous and 2025 is a make or break year for HSN under Qurate.
You are 100 percent correct. It’s hard to watch now and you and I spend money and are entitled to have our opinion about the sad situation we are witnessing at HSN. I have been a customer from Day 1. 40 years and if I have an opinion I am going to express it.
You been watching is the key. They don’t need folks like you to watch and find fault. Watch and spend some money on a many amazing products that they have to offer, and keep it moving. Evidently you like HSN why would you just be watching and complaining, Jeeeezzz. Their models will get better with time. ITS LIKE RECOUPING AND REGROUPING. Don’t hate appreciate HSN and the many years of this SHOPPING NETWORk ON TELEVISION. Stop trying to find fault!
When winter hits and it’s freezing cold in PA with no end in sight, those who relocated are probably going to regret leaving Florida! Maybe after HSN totally collapses many of them will move back to the sunshine.
HSN has been devalued on Quarate’s balance sheet. HSN No longer an asset. a write-off. take a look at the 2nd Qtr. call. QVC isnt doing that great.
Q is throwing everything at their own wall. Going full-bore into SM Tik Tok…They’re losing revenue big-time hoping to stop the bleeding.
this is the reason for HSN’s slip-shod production values. HSN has been devalued.

Your comments here are interesting and probably accurate. It is surprising the type of new hosts hired. The fact there are 6 women and no men makes me wonder if Guy might come back. However, I also believe the hosts that didn’t make the move will be glad in a couple of years.
For those of us who have watched HSN for over 20 years, it will never be close to the same.
For those who have shopped for 10 years or less, you might stick around. I don’t see HSN drawing a lot of young viewers and I don’t think they will become one with the Q. These are just my opinions.
I have been using M. Asam since they came to HSN. Recently, I started using Nakery Pressed Collagen and put M. Asam Vino Gold face cream over it. The lines above my mouth have diminished a lot. I use the Magic Finish with the flamingo lid. Love it!
I was afraid M. Asam was leaving but after all their sellouts, it looks like Beate will bring several items each visit with great prices.
I don’t know. I think the social media thing is because that’s the way things are done now (remember Q/HSN has a TikTok now). The lack of diversity in the new hosts is blatantly obvious. LesleyAnn is the only minority of the six. That is not a slam on the new hosts. It is ultimately Qurate’s doing. It will come back to bite them.
As far as no channel bringing out 6 new hosts at once…no shopping channel has made a move and lost so many experienced hosts at one time. I wonder if we will see Shop HQ hosts hired on as well. HSN only has the experience of Suzanne, Adam, Callie, and Tamara, (and Sarah, who i don’t count as she really needs training). Bobbi and Lynn (and Michelle) are leaving. That leaves six hosts who have been there since 2017 or later, as well as the new six.
The hosts REALLY need training. Desperately. The Badgley Mischka fangirling was embarrassing, and the constant overuse of words and phrases like My Friends, Right, OK, Um, and others show a lack of training. Most of the ones who are guilty of this come from a news background and honestly, should know better. It’s on HSN to provide guidance on how to host successfully, and it shows they are aware of that issue, since the new hosts are being mentored by Mary Beth Roe.
Yes, I saw that. You’re correct, Debbie did egg them on. And Debbie can be a wild child at times. But she was like that in Florida with the models there. But you didn’t see Donna or Victoria or Kenyah ever behave inappropriate. They had fun, especially towards the end of Florida HSN, but still professional. I really think it all in the attitude. The Florida models were happy to be there, grateful. The PA models seem like we better be grateful they’re there. If they check their attitudes at the door, I’ll try to accept them. 🤔🙄
I think that the HSN move to PA was just a transitional step in the channel basically getting absorbed into QVC, so they are not putting much effort into establishing it in PA as a fully functioning entity like it was in Florida. How could HSN fire 900+ employees in Florida and then move everything to PA and everything would proceed as it was? They definitely did not HIRE 900 new people to replace the ones they lost…
Even from the on air and host perspective: I believe the hosts who did not move to PA just saw the writing on the wall and did not want to make a major life adjustment for something they will only be doing for another year or two before QVC just takes everything over. I also think the new class of HSN hosts being touted all over their social media is a way for us to like them so we are more forgiving when most of them fall short of the traditional standard of hosting. I have been watching home shopping across multiple channels for many years and have never seen any of the channels bring out 6/8 new hosts at one time and make sure the audience knows “these are our new class”. They usually just get casually thrown in one by one or hired as-needed.
I think it all amounts to more Q, less H.
