Carol and her fiancé have millions. They are building a 4 or 5 million dollar condo in Boca Raton. She doesn’t need the money any more. I am a long time Rarities buyer, but the last couple of years the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Don’t expect anything that says extended delivery. That is an HSN mistake. They have done in it the past with lines.

Carol Brodie is definitely, 100% not affiliated w/ HSN anymore (read her posts on her FB page). I put an item in my “cart” (as a test) and it says delivery by 8/13/2026.
Honestly, I would be leery of ordering anything not already in stock from Rarities. As it is, one of the pieces I bought not on any extended delivery was messed up(sent wrong size, wrong gemstone color) MULTIPLE times.
I even spoke to supervisors, telling them it must be a warehouse mix up (otgers reviewed having the SAME issue), and their answer was always, “Nope, it’s just sold out, too bad so sad.”
I had enough of the runaround…contacted Carol herself via FB, she actually looked into it. Lo and behold— it WAS a warehouse issue! She helped me get the right color & size. Others who irdered after me had the same issue!
So… moral of the story is I weould heavily advise against ordering Rarities not part of the original stock. Too much risk.-

I had an issue on my laptop different from yours. I couldn’t get my Saved items to do anything. Couldn’t remove. Couldn’t move to Shopping bag. Tried everything. Restarted. Cleared browsing history. What worked for me was to go to my HSN phone app and removed all my Saved items from the phone app and then closed the app. My laptop is fine now.
Yes, QVC has some tacky cheaper items also, but for the most part QVC is the name Quality, Value and customer care. They sell much more quality items & yes, their prices have gone up just like HSN’s prices, but QVC offers a lot more quality jewelry and clothing period! They are more inclusive with their sizing also.
as far as Lancome they will not be presenting on air as far as I know but HSN will sell their products online when in stock also Clinique only online. They show them on air occasionally but without a Lancome rep.
I hope Isomers becomes a bigger part of HSN but I am happy they are on even if it isn’t as much as I like. I shop on ShopHQ for Isomers and also HSN. I think that ShopHQ offers a lot more deals with a coupon for everyone not just card holders so I tend to shop more lately on ShopHQ but I still purchase a lot on HSN.
I am not a fan of Lancome or any department store skin care that also sells makeup. I like Dr. Dennis Gross’s retinol and a couple of things by Dr. Lancer. I also use Koh Gen Do cleansing water and SK-ll facial treatment Essence but now mostly Isomers for skincare treatment it is good and it is affordable.
I purchase some items but not 1/2 as much as I purchase online direct from a designer or a department store, I know what I am getting and it is quality, petite sizing with an exceptional fit at a very good price everything HSN is lacking. Quality, Great materials, All-inclusive sizing petite, average & tall with great pricing with a perfect fit.
You are probably right but I don’t think Carol Brodie who left HSN would consider making more jewelry for HSN at a cheaper price the pieces that are on extended orders are sold out and at a much cheaper price some are $100. less or more. usually, they will ask the seller/vendor if they will fulfill the order. Maybe Carol said yes.
Manuela was on the HSN Beauty Awards the other night, so I would expect to see Isomers in the future.
I think HSN and QVC are accepting orders and hoping they can fill them.
Sadly I must agree on pricing. I get better deals at outlets or discount retailers. I also miss some of the old designers. My HSN and QVC purchases are more limited now. Still like to watch though.

I see a lot of things my Mother used to wear but very little I would wear at 76 even if it was given to me. My grandkids like that I am not an old fashion Nana and I don’t intend to start being that now. A little bit of style keeps you feeling younger. Prices keep shooting up while everything is cropped, pants, tops and sleeves. I can’t even afford QVC anymore. Additionally, the quality is not always present. So, if you wonder why this 30 plus year customer is not exercising her buying power here very much these days, now you know. Money is tight. No one can afford to waste it. There are, to be fair and honest, fashion exceptions here and there. I just wish someone would listen to the customers and give us more of what we want and less of what we do not care to buy. Maybe then sales would go up instead of down.
There are lots of tacky, cheap looking decorations on QVC! Your post made me laugh comparing it to a high end store. Both HSN and QVC have many beautiful items also. I don’t feel HSN is a “bargain basement” either ,,,yes you can find some bargains (just as on QVC) but it’s has many terrific brands.
