Is there a difference between Iman’s Global Chic 360 jeans & her City Chic 360 jeans? Is the fit the same in both? The feel?
I have a pair of her Global Chic jeans that I got last year & I LOVE them! (& her!) They’re very soft & so comfy. I found, for myself, that I needed to size down a size from my normal size in DG2 jeans (which I also love!) from a 14 to a 12 in the blue denim. The 14 were too big & the 12 fit perfect & were not too tight. I’m looking at her colored jeans – & know that I need to ‘size up’ to the 14, as the fabrication is different. I SO wish they would state that in their presentations & online as I see most have to do the same!
Ok – done babbling LoL – is there a difference between the Global Chic & the City Chic? If so, what is it?

Dg clothes

I have a pair of her jeans from maybe 5 years ago. Love the cut but hate the polyester (I guess this is what makes them stretch and gives softness but its hot). I have ordered her newer pants and jeans and had to send every one back. She is cutting the rise shorter and this is just not comfortable to me nor is it flattering. They pour the models into the next size down and it simply isn’t flattering to her body. I have not purchased any DG2 that I could keep in the last 3 years so I stopped ordering.

No, I’ve not tried the other brands because in general DG2 really work best for me. I’m very high waisted, so I find the T has the back rise that I need to fit at my waist.

Even though I’m not overweight, I see G by Guiliani or the Skinny Girl brand and just can’t image how their jeans would fit anyone with a figure!

Before I discovered DG2, I was wearing ones from Gap, Old Navy, The Loft, Ann Taylor and Venus, but none really have the fit I need. So, I will stay with her even though the sizing is sometimes off.

Sometimes a particular brand is just not right for our body type.

Have you tried G by Guiliani or the Skinny Girl brand?

I’ve tried both but I don’t like the fit as much as I like DG2’s fit.

I haven’t tried Democracy yet, but would like to.

We can really get sucked into those presentations but eventually we just have to know what works for us as individuals and what doesn’t.

I don’t care how many jeans a brand has sold they may not be for you.

I guess it depends on your current COVID rules. In Florida, we are not on a lockdown, so everything is open with caution. Honestly, the only places I haven’t returned to yet are movie theaters and mass (all that singing and praying inside makes me cautious). However, there was a park (I just moved two days ago) in my previous city, so I would wear my DG2 jeans. or cute sundress or whatever I had when I walked around the lake, It really lifted my spirits to be able to ‘dress up’ even if I was just walking laps around the lake. Most agree that we are safer outdoors as it’s unlikely the virus would spread (unless you are in a large crowd). Good luck and stay safe!

Amy almost always wears her own clothes, especially her dresses on The Beauty Report. I had called one night and asked about a dress she was wearing and was told she wears her own clothes on that show. I wish they sold what she wears cause her dresses are stunning. She was on the other day with Diane Gilman and was wearing DG2 jeans and a sweater/shirt of Diane’s.

I own 4 pairs of these jeans and even after gaining lots of weight I still fit in a size 12. How do I pick a different style of DG2 now and what size would I order? I miss The Shaper jeans

i love the fletch stretch jeans. i can’t stand buttons and zipers.
i also just got GUILIANA’S PONTE FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS SO HIGH QUALITY AND INCREDIBLE FIT . I BOUGHT HER FAUX BLAZER A FEW WEEKS AGO. GORGEOUS. REALLY high quality
i bought Diane’s think long sleeved cowl necks in every color. so comfy. i am throwing them on every day. everything i have bought from DG2 IS SO comfortable. i never felt such fabrics. .

i bought flex stretch jeans just now i am not a jeans person. i like jeggings or flared leggings that look like slacks. These are super comfy and look like jeans. the quality is great.
i also bought ponte slacks with boot cut and the blazers -4 of them from DG2 high high quality and fit great. not sure why poeple bash the HSN staff and clothes. they should watch it or shop here if they feel that way. im a new client since july and LOVE HSN. i have figured out my sizing better and all the clothes have a soft comfortable feel and look sexy. i just lost alot of wieght and love my new wardrobe THANKS HSN

i just started shopping on HSN since i am working remotely since July.
I have bought such amazing high quality clothing better than the things i used to buy in boutiques and dept store. DG2 IS AMAZING. IT’S HIT ORMISS HOW THINGS look on everyone.
for example, i love the cowl neck she just came out with. everyone has bashed it. it’s form fitting and i just lost alot of weight and it looks great on me and it’s super comfy and has thin long sleaves so I am not not sweating and itchy . alot of these fabrics are super comfy. i am sensitive to fabrics and all of these agree with me.
everyone loves the easy tank i looked pregnant in it. no one can look good in everything but i wish people would stop bashing the clothes. i bought a faux jacket by G love it. i bought flex stretch blazer and jeans by DG2 adorable. love everything i have gotten. if people despise the clothes they shouldnt’ shop here. i am tired of negative comments HSN has allowed me to be a better shopper and has been like a personal stylist for me.

For the ponte bought cut pants i got i did a medium. the lenght is perfect and soa re the blazers.
for flex jeans i am trying a small .
If they are no good i will send back. I got the mid tone.
for DG2 TOPS the small sizes are much better. i find her tops run larger than true size. a medium is like a large on me or an xl and sometimes looks too boxy.
i am going for smalls. her sizing is really larger for women then the typical small sizes.
i am a medium size woman who is still losing weight.
the medium blazer and pants in ponte were slightly tight in waist but as I lose weight and with the stretch they are fitting better so glad i went to the medium.
the flexstretch is a different type of material. i’ll see what happens.

Agree completely! I’m so sick of people like Suzanne saying over and over that DG2 fit every “B-O-D-Y” (yes, she spelled BODY out multiple times). News flash, they do NOT fit everybody! I like the way Quacker Factory “Jeannes” fit because they’re relaxed and never tight AND actually fit me overall. DG2 has NEVER fit me, I’ve tried multiple styles and will never buy her jeans again because I’m tired of having to return every single pair!

Too bad they will ignore these conversations. I’ve complained many times and DG and HSN DON’T CARE.

Hello ladies. I am interested in purchasing Jegging in either black or denim color (not jeans with buttons on top) SKINNY jeggings with a nice fit. i’d like to bring navy into my wardrobe. I have an eye on some denim shoes and tops. i always have BLACK GREY since shopping here bringing in some color. i know dg2 is always good but i wanted to know in terms of fit who else and if DG2 do you recommend.

I started watching HSN in the mid 1980’s and enjoyed watching and purchasing for several decades. HSN was my go to for clothes they had really good designers when Randolph Duke left that is when most of my buying stopped. I tried Iman I find her clothes cheap looking and how many jeans do I need from DG2 I think I have about 10 different colors and pairs. Tried Marla Wynn I just can’t get the sizing right and got tired of paying for returns. I do like the Curations peasant blouses I have bought in the last few years and a few of Colleen Lopez’s peasant blouses that’s about it. I have done more clothes shopping at Chico’s and Talbot’s.

As far as beauty products go SKINN prices are outrageous compared to what they were on the other network. I have bought on their website when they have a sale. Serious Skin Care I also order from their website if you sign up with your email you get an email every day with one product on an unbelievable sale.

As far as this community goes their seems to be several unstable people posting and I believe there is no one from HSN monitoring this board. Very sad when you think how active this board was before HSN took it down with no notice.
