Just asking for an opinion
The other day I visited my parents, who live in a senior development. The person who lives across from them has adult kids, who have 5 kids and 1 dog of their own. When I was visiting, I happened to see an SUV pull into that driveway. The whole troop of them came out of the SUV with enough baggage for a week stay.
That really annoyed me. I think it’s really obnoxious of someone to have her entire family move into the house while she’s away. It’s a senior development. People move to those kinds of places to get away from screaming kids, constant ball playing in the street, balls and frisbees bashing into private cars on driveways, and noise and chaos. When I was visiting, they all decided to play ball in the street. I ended up having to move my car a block away.
I don’t know what anyone else thinks. I think it’s a rude inconvenience.
I would check it out and if they dont have guide lines maybe you could start one. I can see vising with kids but not staying all night there. I am sure they have rules for that. Why were they there if she wasnt home?
Most places have guidelines about such matters to avoid abuse, might want to check with the office.
I am sure the Senior development has a main person to speak to. Maybe you need to speak to them to see if there are any guidelines, if not then it would seem ok. It was Easter Weekend, so maybe they were visiting someone for the Easter weekend, it was possible maybe that person was in the hospital or something for the Easter weekend and they were just visiting.
I am sure there was an HOA and if the HOA did not have an issue, then it was OK,
