I used to like Michael Buble
I had been a fan of Michael Buble’s music but have never seen him interviewed or unscripted. His hour with Colleen pushing his fragrance was so cringe worthy, I felt embarassed for both of them! He came across as swarmy and insincere. I don’t know if he was advised to act “unpredictable” but it came across as erratic. He went overboard complimenting Colleen, to the point I wondered if he was having a joke over her. At the end of the presentation when they stood to awkwardly hug, he was about 6 inches shorter than Colleen. I would’ve taken a chance on his fragrance if the presentation hadn’t creeped me out.
I WONT EVEN COMMENT ON WHAT THAT SHOULD BE CALLED!!!
I wonder when Trump and Hillary will come out with a fragrance. Who doesn’t come out with one?
I think I saw most of the presentations, and in honesty think he was very nervous, and improved throughout the day. I would call it more awkward than erractic.
He was probably coached to be himself, which lord knows I think he did that. I never seen him interviewed either, and not sure what I was expecting, but found him underlying endering after watching for a while.
One thing I must say, I was surprised his wife didn’t partner with him on the scent. There was a Lancome fragrance recently that was developed by both a man and a woman, and I thought that was cool.
Anyways, I hope everyone that got his fragrance liked it.
I agree with you, Sophisticated. However, I don’t like him or his music. He’s another unnecessary Canadian import. He imitates the sound of Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr. We’ve already got the real thing. Why do we need him?
I saw about five minutes of that show. I thought he was ridiculously pretentious and rude. Someone from Massachusetts called in, and he started making fun of her accent. I felt bad for the caller; I think he embarrassed her and made her feel self-conscious. She paused, and then continued talking as if he hadn’t said anything. That was when I immediately changed the channel.
What a jerk.
NOT FAMILIAR WITH HIS MUSIC. BUT I HAD TO QUESTIONS PEOPLES’ SANITY WHEN THEY CALLED IN & SAID BECAUSE THEY LOVE HIS MUSIC, THEY’RE SURE THEY’LL LOVE HIS PERFUME! ???? WHAT’S UP WITH THAT? (ANYONE REMEMBER WHEN THE PREGNANT MARIAH WAS BROADCASTING FROM HER HOME W/COLLEEN HAWKING HER LINE OF FRAGRANCE – SAYING SHE DOESN’T WEAR FRAGRANCE, BUT IF SHE DID, SHE’D WEAR THAT ONE?! OBVIOUSLY, A PERFUMER HAD CREATED WHAT THEY THOUGHT SHE SHOULD SELL & HSN WAS JUST USING HER TO MAKE $. COULDN’T HELP WONDERING THE SAME THING ABOUT BUBLE’S FRAGRANCE.) SOME PPL WILL BUY ANYTHING. (I KNOW I’LL START A FIRESTORM HERE, BUT I’M ENTITLED TO MY OPINION.)
I still lke Michael Buble . I did not see him on HSN . I like his music and his personality .
I agree with gise47, he was genuine, I called in the noon hour and spoke with him, HSN told me to keep it 30 seconds and only talk about the perfume, but he had a great several minute comversation with me and even asked about my dog when one of them barked near the end of the conversation. I have seen him in concert and he performed for 2 hour straight and gives you so much and I can say from seeing him in concert and how he brings audience members up and chats and jokes that what you saw was the real deal. I love him.
Oh no, that doesn’t sound good ?!! I just watched Michael w Bobbi, and he was taking fan calls. He sounded like a really good guy. He took time to really listen and connected w his callers. One poster on another thread is saying that Bobbi didn’t do well, but I wasn’t watching closely, so I have no comment on that. I am not into Buble music, so I just watched his new music video. It was super cheeseball.
I never watch interviews! I love his music; that’s enough for me.
I thought he was entertaining, funny and genuine. Colleen didn’t seem to be uncomfortable in the least.
