That vendor with the accent selling the crafting items is all over the place! She keeps interrupting and talking over Helen. How rude! She doesn’t seem to want her to speak. Helen is the host. I think Helen is perfectly capable of doing her own job.

I really enjoy the hosts on HSN but would much prefer to hear more from the vendor and less from the host. I love it when the vendors, especially the craft ones, have as much time as possible to talk about their product and demonstrate how to use it. I just don’t need to hear incessantly from the host about the flex pays, shipping special, it’s going to sell out, etc.
All of the hosts do a great deal of studying each product in preparation for a show. I don’t expect a host to know as much about a brand as the owner or designer. However, hosts are trained to have an adequate amount of information about a product in order to sell that product.
I also think hosts and vendors need to work in concert with each other and share the stage.
She is not only the vendor, but the owner of the company and designer of those products, so if anyone should know about those products it would be her not the host.
I thought she was doing a good job, she did know her product, and was good at both explaining, and showing how things worked. I think she was just excited, not rude.
