Hi Diane, If the fit of the clamdiggers is slim, I would wear them with a flowy top and can switch up type of shoes with what I was doing at the time. If a casual setting I would wear some type of sandals, sunglasses, maybe a hat if in the sun all day. I always wear  jewelry  . Looking forward to see the new items your bringing. :womanhappy:
Would you, please, consider making all your tops/jackets (only 3 jackets I was able to get altered) etc to also come in petite lengths as you do your jeans? I’d ordered three pair of jeans and tops that matched. However, although the pants were in petite length, the tops were not. Petite ladies have petite length arms as well. I ended up returning everything. This order was placed due to the matching tops and jeans… When the length and arms on the tops looked awful it was beyond frustrating.
My look for so many things is your ribbed tanks in all the colors tucked in and then I wear tops and tees over them. You can use short top or long tops and pull up the longer tee to show the tank color underneath. I also love to top with a Nikki P ballet sweater and I tie the strings around my waist a bit grecian style. Diane you are just the best and the most generous designer at HSN. Thank you for always making it possible for me to get current styles at clearance pricing and for never removing your super clearance things when you are on the air, THANK YOU 🙂
I do pay full price for your amazing things and they are always worth it. At times I do believe that you are a fashion psychic. I have worn your line for several decades and you have always been two or three seasons ahead 🙂
I want a new nautical top and necklace for this summer 🙂
HAVE A GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!
Why does Diane bring up 3/4 length sleeves in the summer time to wear? I’m in Las Vegas where it WILL hit over 100 this weekend and then continue to RISE until September…. and then slowly trickle back down into the 90’s – CRAZY! But I’m moving to Florida – so I will not have 100 to 126 degrees, but will have 90’s WITH HUMIDITY – so WHY are your fabrics non-breathable, 3/4 length sleeves, etc? Are you just designing for those who get COLD in restaurants? If that is the case, have them grab a Slinky, Antthony or anyone else’s ShRUG on the way out the door – Lord knows HSN has sold at least 1000 different versions of them in the past FIVE years! But Diane – let’s create some short sleeve SUMMER TOPS – (look at QVC Jeanne Bice – _ Quacker Factory if you don’t understand WHAT the customers want) and last but not least; I can no longer stand to watch you on TV and hear the same ole’ stories over and over again; you continue to TALK all over the host who has a job to do — which is to provide us with the fabrication, sizing information, etc – yet you continue to verbally STOMP all over them so customers continue to have to pay return shipping because of your RUDE BEHAVIOR. I stopped buying any thing from you UNTIL you show some effort and COURTESY to the HOST and to us – the customer – who is sending our hard earned money to you. If you cannot let the information we NEED to make an educated decision when purchasing, then I’m not buying anymore. I don’t want to hear about the 70’s, how much stretch (you are standing there SHOWING IT to us – we can see the 4-6" we don’t have to hear it 18x the last show you were on – that is how many times you TOLD US about the STRETCH – 18 times). My Father has had massive strokes and has an impaired memory; but I’m seriously beginning to question Dementia, Alzheimers or side effects from a stroke because we DO NOT WANT nor CARE to hear about the same thing over and over – we WANT & NEED to hear the CRITICAL INFORMATION – please be quiet and let the Show Host do their job. In the meantime, I will hit mute and wait until you (at your age-shame on you) can be a "designer" and not a conversation HOG – then and only then will I begin to buy your items again.
Anyone else out there agree with me – Diane’s behavior on TV is repulsive and totally lacks manners? Who else wants to take a stand and BOYCOTT her items (I can tell you where to get them for 1/5 the price in 6-8 weeks anyways online) – but we NEED to send her a message IF the HSN Show Producer is NOT going to do it – just because she is HSN’s Jean Queen and brings in HSN lots of money – that does NOT give HSN an excuse to TOLERATE her bad behavior. You would have MORE SALES if you roped her in and TOLD her to SHUT UP, SIT DOWN and enjoy the show as a FIGURE HEAD. When we have a question for you – we’ll ask you THEN to answer it! How many of you would LOVE to say that to her yourself???? Sign me up!
I have over 100 of your tank tops (maybe 20 from HSN) – the other 80 I paid no more than $2 for because no matter what I do (lingerie bag – inside a pillow case) – they Pill and look terrible after 4-6 washes so I won’t spend $49 on them when new – MAYBE when they get to $8 w/Free S/H I will buy thru HSN – but otherwise I get them elsewhere because I LOVE them; but not when they pill and what a mess to sit and TRY to pick off the DG2 mess afterwards and I truly have laundry OCD – will NOT let ANYONE touch my laundry and it must be done with the utmost care – I refuse to do my husbands laundry because he wouldn’t put up his zipper (which CAN snag my clothes) – he wouldn’t button things – so I STOPPED – all of those sloppy behaviors DAMAGE my clothes but even inside a pillow case where NOTHING can damage them – they still get these nylon pills/dots on them – and I can’t figure out WHAT to do next to stop – Laundry Bags have zippers so I purchased otherr ones with pull tie closures so there was NOTHING to beat the tanks off of – this is using gentle cycle/hand wash on my 1K washing machine – But I’m glad I only spend a FRACTION vs. full price AND have to listen to her SQUAWK and talk over the Show host every time – I see she is coming on air Friday for ONE SHOW only ~ seriously for 1 show – send someone else I don’t want to hear about your flight and the same ole story AGAIN ~ PLEASE!!!!!!
I have never purchased you clothing line because on you and on the models there appears to be bunching at the knees. Are you wearing garments too small or does the knee area need to be larger. I find it unattractive. Your pants need to not reveal that bunching and I might purchase you product. Anything cuffed, I prefer a contracting cuff.
Hi Diane, believe I have owned and gifted over 50 pair of your jeans, I treasure a few pair, I know you are in NY, Jersey shore here, and the word "Clam Diggers" well, not. So far no capris that I am happy in, you know the humidty days. I don’t need the muffin top, I have a waist, not tummy, I carry now in my hip/thigh area, I would love for to come up with something that’s coastal wear, and breathable jeans. Now that I have gifted most of my Jeans, after losing weight, Bring It On, just let it breathe, I want to try the sailor jeans, I indent on my Waist, and always show it, and also love the layering, but I want to be able to get dressed when it’s 90 degrees out and feel good, What do you suggest?? Can’t wait to see what’s on your new agenda. I’m 5 7 and wear Regular, although many of my jeans were way too long. I opted out of the bermudas also, no offense. Bring Us Women Something That We Feel Good About Ourselves In. Please thank you:) toffeedude, and I am sure many women have had to hem also with a tailor, but not at these prices. Have a great Summer 🙂 xoxo TD
Wedge sandals or espadrilles to elongate, a tank, a light scarf, a fun bangle, a woven tote and sunglasses!
Have stopped buying your BLACK denim jeans (or any black denim you have) because of the awful ODOR. Took a huge loss on three pair fancy jeans and jean jacket because I waited too long to return. Smell is awful. Have never seen this addressed by anyone in ”authority”, only customers who have tried this and that to remove the smell.
I also wouldl like more cotton ”hot weather” tops, your rayon spandex tops are too see through. yikes, no way am I wearing those.
Would like more basic shirts with open collars, not cut too low please! Also linen (100%) pants, regular length, and where o where is a 100% white linen shirt?? Have many of your linen sweaters from last season, love them, prefer 100% linen.
Would love for you to do fashion ”sneakers” or some other comfortable shoe for those of us who don’t ever do heels or wedges.
Thank you and have a great show! ps, I love to hear your ”stories” and advice on fashion..
I would not wear capris at a resort if they were denim. I have your denim shorts in many colors but here in Fl., the material is just too heavy. I save them for the winter and still find them too heavy. I prefer loose fiting clothes with flowing fabric for resort wear. Halter tops and dresses, sleeveless, backless, flowy, flowers. Loose. I probably would not wear capris in a resort unless I was going shopping for the clothing I described abovee.
I love capris because they are so versatile. I can start the day with a cute t-shirt, sandals,
flats, or tennis shoes. I can add a cardigan or blazer for afternoon activities. In the evening, switch to a pretty blouse, heeled sandals or pumps. My favorite is denim capris because one pair can go from day to night. Add some jewelry and I am all set.
I love your Super Stretch and absolutely love your skinny jeans. Never thought I could wear skinny jeans without looking like I am reliving my teen years. Your design is perfect. I wear DG denim- jeans, Bermuda shorts, or cuffed shorts every day. Thank you for giving us fashion and comfort.
Knit tops such as these are usually the types I veer toward when packing for a resort vacation. The pink top would also look good with a pair of black capris. I would still pack a couple basic tees/tanks. I prefer "dressy casual" in the evening, not ultra dressy, so capris and a dressier sandal are a good match to achieve that look.
Btw, HSN has several "Yellow Box" sandals that would look great with Diane’s capris!
Diane, if you have capris as a TS this weekend I’m not buying!
Why? Because I bought 5 pairs of your last TS, I kept one and sent four back.
Why? Sizing! They were all the same size yet different colors had a 2.5 inch difference in waist size laying flat.
Why is that?
I’m not paying shipping costs anymore on inconsistant sizing. Even if the shipping was free on your item, I’m worried about ordering two sizes in order to get the right size, returning the other one and then HSN chalking up another return to me and banning me from shopping from their site. I know that happens and I don’t want it to be me as I enjoy shopping here, so I’m not risking it on your items anymore. Sorry!
a necessity for me with summer capris is a KILLER, dressy and expensive looking sandal. i tend to wear a somewhat neutral or pastel coloredl fitted/semi-fitted top with short sleeves over it. at night, if i am going out to eat or to a special occassion, i bring my pashmina with me. i love capris. they are so comfortable, stylish and ALWAYS APPROPRIATE summer staple. also, i must not forget coupling them with my heidi daus jewelry. the jewelry just takes the capris to a whole new level- along with my own self-confidence and self-esteem. again, i love getting dressed up for summer AND making capris look classy and elegant is another big reason for it!!! i love you diane!!! stay awesome and classically on trend, my friend!!! xoxo.
Diane, I had to give in and buy two pairs – seriously they’re so cute. I hope they fit me this time.
I HAVE A REQUEST PLEASE: Diane, could you please make DENIM VESTS to match your jeans? I’ve been shopping for a vest, they’re expensive, and on top of that as I’m shopping on line I can’t figure out what size to get. I would love a DG2 denim vest that I can throw on over tshirts etc for that etc bit of cover up when I need it, but I also think they look great on. TKS!!!
This doesnt even have free shipping. Would cost over $50 I dont feel thats a good price for a TS on a pair of capris
