The models that guide my HSN purchasing decisions were left behind in Florida. Kenya, Carol and Victoria allowed me to see just how the clothes would look or fit on my body. This change will no doubt really limit the clothing that I purchase from HSN. Now I will have to go into the HSN Retail Store to try on things.
I have not seen any PA HSN TRAINED models that will convince me to make a clothing purchase. This is both serious and sad because I loved to purchase things for myself and others online. My daughter is also a focused HSN shopper that feels let down. This change/move may work out for QVC, but the HSN shoppers that I know are not impressed. Shopping on QVC.com is not an option for us.
I have been asking the same question, but I do not see any information about any of the models relocating. I think some do it part time and have other jobs so probably not.
I have heard the hosts mention that they have other jobs & do this on the side.
I totally disagree with the other comments about fashion the designers on HSN can’t compare to the designers on QVC and also the way they dress the models on QVC is a lot better.
Most of the time the models on HSN have ill-fitting clothes.
QVC hits it out of the park with sizing and quality in clothing compared to HSN.
I recently saw a QVC model doing a clothing show. She looked awful in the outfit. If you want customers to buy, dress them to look good. I’d never seen this model before. It was QVC, not HSN. Not sure what is going on with either channel.
Good luck with the transition. I’m a long time shopper of both HSN & QVC. My question is, I love seeing the clothing on Kenya and Ingabor (sp) and Dogmara (sp). Were any of the models asked to make the move? If not, I think that was a huge mistake and I feel badly for them because they were exceptional.
I agree with a number of the opinions expressed about some of the presentations from the “new” location. Some of the hosts are downright rude to the brand representatives. They cut them off asking inane questions.
The models need to be more diverse in sizes, shape etc.
I was watching a Marlawynne show and the models weren’t wearing the proper sized clothing. The clothes were pulled and wrinkled because they were too small for them. Don’t you have any models who aren’t a size small?
You’re the first couple of people who I’ve heard have my Nov 1983 start date beat. I am not in FL, so I couldn’t have picked up my purchases but how fun that must have been!!!
I agree though. I have not seen EVEN ONE model who weara larger than a size medium since they got to PA. Kenyah was perfect for so many. I am not plus sized, but I am petite (although I have long legs, so I usually get regular or tall inseams for pants). There have been TWO petite models (Felicia on Marla’s show and I didn’t catch the name of the model on DG2’s last show). Diversity is super important, as is telling how tall each model is, as well as what sizes they are wearing – Each show they are on. As well as each piece of clothing they are showing – the stats graphic they used to how for each model was so helpful.
I have been an active customer of HSN from the days when the largest size they sold was a 2X and it didn’t fit me to the days when they started 3X to 5X. I really needed to see plus size models to know how the clothing would look on me. After surgery and illness, I am now a size 8-10 and I still like to see the clothing on people who look like me. I also loved the Outlet Stores – when one was in Illinois – and there were 5 in Central and South Florida. I once drove to Pennsylvania to go to several QVC Outlets and the only clothing sold was damaged. It was interesting to see the differences between the HSN and QVC Outlets. I hope you continue the Outlets. In Florida. I sincerely hope that HSN will not disappear or be incorporated into QVC. I can picture the new name:

The Florida models are definitely more enjoyable to watch. I have spent a lot of $$$ at HSN— most notably clothing. The PA models are all the same shape and relative size. As a plus sizer, I knew how the clothes would look on me when Kenya wore them. I was a confident buyer. Now I only have Debbie D to show anything plus. I won’t buy any clothing that hasn’t been shown on a plus model. Maybe you should have Florida models videoed/ photographed for the HSN website. Or maybe I should go back to stores for my clothing.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesTime to respectfully recognize and salute the great clothing models on HSN who did such a good job but will not be moving north with HSN. Most of the chat has been about the hosts – but let’s not forget to wish all those models well, with the hope that the interruption in their careers will not be too long.
Great job ladies – you did important work for the network and you will be missed.
Well if I want something I don’t care who’s presenting it or who is modeling it I will buy it. All my purchases are online but I watch my favorites on the TV or just for entertainment I watch . I saw “not so great” models for Perlier but bought anyhow because I love Perlier. I’m not sure why but the past several months I have been buying stuff like crazy. Lots of jewelry on clearance and clothing, beauty everything . But I am not a new customer . It would be interesting to find out if newer customers stopped from buying something because the model or presenter turned them off. Any newer customers that can comment?
There is no way that QVC uses professional model agency. My mom and sister were models and everything that the models on QVC now HSN is wrong. At least on HSN the models had their hair and makeup done professionally. Also on HSN St Petersburg wore clothes and shoes from HSN . And they had people who coordinated their outfits.
HSN has chic jewelry, clothing not QVC. I actually used to buy stuff from QVC in the 1990’s.

I HOPE QVC HIGH QUALITY CLOTHING AND ALL THEIR PETITE SIZING RUBS OFF ON HSN. MORE QUALITY PETITES AND PETITE MODELS
I personally think HSN has many different brands of clothing that offer a good variety of fashionable styles that are up to date, trendy or just something for the everyday woman. Not everyone is going to like every line of clothing or style. I think for the most part, the models look nice and are dressed stylishly.
