having same issues called costumer service transferred me to card services tried what they said still not working I guess they do not want me to make any payments I’m done with all of them I will miss David/qvc I’ve spent too much time on this can’t handle this difficulties my daughters husband died I’m in another state trying to help her and my grandbabies this is too much I can’t afford any late fees over my head trying to fix this mess on disability limited income they will just trash my credit oh well the life of this old lady no more shopping
I received my bill in the mail today i normally get a online statement account number was on front signed up no problem my billing date has changed so bill seemed a little high this month I think some flex pays have overlapped I am going to pay my flex pays off and use a different card as I have read not good things about this bank I don’t like all these changes when they said when qvc took over nothing would change so disappointed don’t think I will be shopping as much
Well I signup new still can’t access my account to make payment I’m guessing they don’t want it or they would have better access this is ridiculous I’m so disappointed I forgot QVC was part of HSN now I will do my shopping with Amazon and walmart online I will miss David
I had to register again and I noticed it gave a new number they are out new cards. I’m gonna ride out this storm with HSN. QVC is also topsy turvy

I miss Joy! I didn’t know or think Iman was leaving. That would be a huge mistake on Qvc/Hsn! If you get rid of your unique exclusive one of a kind vendors what do you have… nothing! I don’t want to see crossover vendors from qvc to hsn and back. No! HSN is special! Don’t mess it up! I mean how boring! When you mix the two you cancel out the fun of shopping at one place over another. And by the way, I noticed that Marilyn Miglin’s 26 year anniversary was just shoved under a rug. No fanfare, no excitement. Why!? She deserves better!
I actually started watching HSN because of Jay King. Before that, I had never watched any of the shopping channels. I haven’t liked a lot of the changes to HSN, but they are trying to make it more profitable. I would rather HSN be like this, than go out of business.
If Jay’s jewelry was all made in the USA, it would be more expensive. The only thing I watch over on QVC is Carolyn Pollack & her American West jewelry. Her jewelry is made here, but you get less for the price. She usually uses small pieces of turquoise. I buy way more of Jay’s pieces than Carolyn’s.
I don’t like that they have the Beekman’s on so much, but I just turn the channel.
Skingirl, i have received a few e-mails about the name change. Mostly as reminders. It’s interesting how people see things (or don’t see things). Very interesting Hsn/ Qvc thought!
I didn’t think too much about the name change but like how you noticed.
The Shop NBC or Evine name doesn’t seen the best way to id a shopping network but i seemed to have found it (although I rarely shop there).
I am also having a bad time with a return. I used the prepaid label and customer service said it was not scanned and I had to have a receipt. I never get a receipt when I use the prepaid label. Now I am having to pay for an item I did not keep. I had a similar problem with a return of a Rhonda Shear item and the bad had 3 bras and I returned 3 bras. Customer service said 1 bra was not returned. What? If it doesn’t fit why would I keep one? I have virtually stopped shopping with HSN and only order from QVC now. When any item is returned by mail on the prepaid label, they immediately send a notice saying “Your Return is on the Way”. That is very helpful.If I don’t see that, I know there is an immediate problem.
I am disgusted HSN has robbed me of $40.00 on this Joy/Iman purse “AS IS” item,but it will be the last time I get robbed. HSN is NOTHING like it was when it started. HSN needs to go out of business because it is nothing like it used to be.There was a time when CS would do anything to make a customer happy and satisfied–no more.it’s prove it or IT UP!
Well, I can’t prove it. They’re extremely inefficient and uncaring.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesLike so many have already said I started shopping years ago with QVC when Andrew Lessman and Perlier were there. When they moved to HSN so did I. I liked the Flex Pay and free S&H that was frequently at HSN. Like all the hosts and the products. I would occasionally check back with QVC but found the new hosts seem more interested in selling themselves and were unbearable to watch. Easy pay was rarely offered. Am so disappointed to see the changes they are making at HSN. They are making it like QVC which is such a shame. I rarely tune in anymore. Can get most anything now from other vendors. Too bad HSN didn’t buy QVC because it is certainly the better choice.
Posted in Forum: HSN TVI have noticed that almost all of HSN’s top selling products are now available on QVC. Also I have noticed the same QVC to HSN… but in comparison HSN has not received even a quarter of top products that are available on QVC. I guess the question in conclusion is… will both shopping channels eventually share all product availability? (Top selling or not)
HSN could be in trouble under the ownership. It could be that Connie and others were not selling enough. Colleen is a good salesperson and that speaks volumes. Bobbie was the first host as was Bob Circosta to launch HSN back in the 80s, It could also be that they decided to leave when their contract was up for renewal in hopes of saving others from losing theirs. I really think that this is is just the tip of the iceberg. I would not be at all surprised if the QVC owners (who actually started HSN in the 80s) would close this shopping network down altogether.
Posted in Forum: FashionWith Iman and Joy Mangano gone from HSN, this shopping channel has sunk to a new low. How many household gadgets and how much kitchen equipment can one person use? No longer interested in HSN or QVC. My catalogs offer beautiful fashions that are so easy to mix and match even with shoes or jewelry, and I am switching to catalog buying online – easy monthly payments be damned. That’s just a con to make you spend more than you are aware you are spending.

Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesIt might seem odd to be writing such a “posting”, but I think other shoppers can relate to this….I grew up with a lot of these show hosts and some have really left a lasting impression and one is “Brett Chukerman”!!!!…….Some actually feel like losing a family member or friend when they leave these shopping channels because you get so used to seeing them and buying products from their presentations….Brett, had a special warm and fun-loving personality…His last show today, July 6th, was nothing short of “very special” when he brought his “beautiful family out”!!!!…His husband (this may be a first for a shopping channel and kudos to HSN)….his beautiful “children” that both share his husband’s and Brett’s good looks…It was a beautiful moment in TV history!!! HSN’s sister channel, QVC should hire “Brett” as a “NEW HOST” since I think he is heading “North” and leaving Florida…..I wish him the very BEST in whatever he does and it’s nice to know we can follow his adventures on “FACEBOOK”….
He will be sorely missed!!!!
I think these hosts leaving are just a tip of the “iceberg.” As I said above, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they move everyone to Pa so that they can merge into one shopping channel. At one time these owners purchased HSN. However, later on, they brought in QVC as a high quality shopping network. All the energy went into building this new company leaving HSN to fend for itself. Yes, these are the same owners, just under a different company name. They bought HSN because they wanted to go against Amazon and Wal-Mart. So far, in all honesty, I have not seen the necessary changes. Shipping costs have almost doubled. Clearance prices in some cases have gone down a few cents. Vendors we have enjoyed are now with other shopping channels. The list goes on and on. There were other ideas that brought us to HSN. Coupon savings was one of them and lower shipping costs on shoes was another. There were vendors that made us laugh and vendors who were honest and stood behind their products. Now, we are back to another beginning where HSN is beginning to look like a basement store and QVC is still your Lord & Taylor. or Neiman Marcus. Many HSN customers have left and others are purchasing less. All the hoopla we say here seems to go in one ear and out the other. There are times when I wish Barry Diller would buy back HSN and bring it to life once again. Then again, why did he let it go in the first place. Guess all of us have been duped.
