I’m confused. Why are a lot of the items on the HSN website showing QVC models? Are they not able to use HSN models? I see some photos of Liv, but everyone else is QVC, and recognizable as QVC models.
Almost thought I was shopping on QVC for a second… I dislike that. Wish they only used HSN models.
Posted in Forum: FashionWhy can’t they have a small studio in Florida for the models there to model the clothes at least when there are today’s special value clothing.
They can still communicate with the hosts but it’s just like they are in a different room.I hate the way the models are presented now we are lucky if we get 1 model and they are very inexperienced I can’t believe being so close to Philly and New York this is the best they can get?
For me seeing all the different models in 1 room styled different ways helped me visualize how I could style the garment.
I feel like I’ve bought much less the way they show the clothing now.
HSN/QVC give us what we want! We want our Florida models back on HSN!!!Cut the fat in other places, like some ego driven executive who thinks he knows more about the customer than we do.
I love my QVC models on QVC but I want my old HSN models to be back on HSN. They made the show and clothing come alive.
Another thought, perhaps fly in the models to PA for the TSV?
I’m not going to buy if I don’t like the way the item is presented, the models actually sell the clothes not the rambling hosts who are scrambling to sell the item and fill in time because they have nothing to show. Seeing something on a hanger does not help me visualize the item and how it might look on me!Come to the light HSN/QVC
Posted in Forum: HSN TVI used to really enjoy watching and purchasing from HSN but since the move to PA things have changed; they don’t have all of the products to display on air, the models are all skinny, unprofessional and hard to watch, the program hosts (even the experienced ones) just seem off their game and the variety is gone. It looks like a high school production company has taken over the channel. I used to argue with my friends that HSN was better than QVC, I can’t do that anymore and it’s really sad!
Posted in Forum: HSN TVHello, I started to noticed how the flex pays have gone down. Is there a reason for this? I am saving money because I can’t afford large payments. I was looking at a dress tonight and it only has two flex payments on a $60 purchase. I started shopping because of the flex pays. On the last craft day. I couldn’t do what I would usually do because of the larger payments. However, I guess I am being weaned off shopping like this.
Also, who are these models on tv? So far I can’t relate to any of them and not to be negative, but a gal with a permanent smile is just freaky.
Just FYI for HSN, I shop for clothes most of the time on QVC. Hsn needs more variety. Just because some younger people are shopping line doesn’t mean they will remain loyal as your older customers
Posted in Forum: FashionNow that HSN is up here, and becoming a part of the local Philadelphia community, it would be so cool if we could get to know the new hosts and models.
I would drive the few hours it takes to get to Pennsylvania to attend a meet and greet, and put a personality to the name and face to the hosts and models we see on TV.
Has QVC or HSN ever done anything like this before? It could be different and so fun!
Posted in Forum: Health & WellnessI have written to HSN and QVC on this subject for months. I get no response. I and my family have been shopping on HSN for years. We have purchased many things, and like most people, we have become somewhat attached to the hosts and guest hosts. As a retired business consultant, I fully understand the economies of consolidation. QVC has decided that it is in their economic interest, long term, to consolidate operations in one location. Good luck with that and May you achieve success.
Having said that, you are being more than a little short sighted with the future of your guest hosts and some of the models and support staff that served their appearances. Through out the COVID shutdown, you allowed remote broadcasts. Guest hosts did this effectively using inadequate lighting and facilities. The job was still effective. I have contacted some of the outstanding product presenters that we know, love, trust, and purchase from. They tell me they were offered no choice. Either move to PA or “see you later.”
I found this very dismissing of not only your fantastic guest hosts, but of your HSN viewers as well. I must conclude by your lack of response to my previous communication attempts, and the choices these fine people have been given, that the “see you later” goes for customers as well. The quest hosts I contacted are both males and have been with HSN for over ten years.
Both indicated they would set up proper remote areas at their expense if asked. Both said they would continue. Why doesn’t HSN continue with these great people? Your customers love them, trust them, and buy from them regularly. One man is so good at what he does his last five presentations were sell outs. HSN must realize after all these years that it is not always a wonderful product selling itself. It is the quality of the presentation.Lastly, their is no question that you can do remote guests easily. I watched yesterday as the outstanding chef Curtis Stone did remotes all day.
Recently, my aunt purchased a Lounge Doctor based on the recommendation of the guest host. Please take a moment to offer remotes to such people as Bob Circosta and Matt Peters. Your customers will appreciate it and so will the venders that they work with. Please help.
