I LOVED slinky brand clothing!! I was so disappointed when I could no longer get the clothing line! Slinky had the BEST and most beautiful dresses with built in metal jewelry that you didn’t even have to wear a necklace! Washable, wearable and comfortable!! All in one!! So amazing!! I pray that the line comes back bigger than ever!! I will buy from this clothing line as long as it’s available!!
Just visited the “Slinky brand “website. Horrible. I will stick with HSN current brands which are modern. Susan Graver on QVC was always miles ahead of the Slinky brand by a mile.

I have to side with Dee on this one. I find most of the clothing outdated, frumpy in the extreme and way too expensive for what you are getting. Neither my daughter, who looks 35, or me at 75 will wear them except for some of denim and a handful of other pieces. The exception overall was Iman and the older Diane Gilman styles of the 90’s and early 2000’s. Now Iman is gone and DG2 has radically changed (better for some and worse for others). I miss the real clothing and jewelry designers HSN use to have like Terry Lewis, Maggie Sweet, Slinky, Joan Boyce, Suzanne Somers, Technibond, etc. Sadly, QVC is in the same boat. Love Susan Graver, Quacker Factory and a couple of other lines but I seriously can’t afford most of them. It is goodbye to a once enjoyable era.
I have always found the clothes in the Q to be overpriced and many lines to be a bit matronly (with the exception of Isaac and Renee and Aran Knits). HSN, however, always had better prices for fashion and had lines that were stylish and lasted and lasted. Leather from Terri Lewis! Washable silk from Diane von Furstenberg! Knits from Slinky and Carolyn Strauss! I still have items from these lines that are timeless in style and have held up with washing or dry cleaning. Currently I like some of Christian siriano, and Marla Wynne, but otherwise, HSN seems to have also gone to lesser quality fast fashion that you can find at lesser prices if that’s your thing. I still like both networks for kitchen items, linens, decor, bath and body items that are quality with competitive prices. We can hope they listen and up their fashion game!
I’m still wearing my Slinky and it still looks like it’s new. Most of it is timeless and a quality we rarely see anymore. Glad I stocked up when they were leaving HSN and offering incredible buys.
I am VERY UPSET that they don’t have Slinky brand anymore. It was my go-to. I had some faux suede skirts that need to be replaced as I have had them for years. Still in style and timeless, classic pieces, and EVERYTHING ELSE IS INFERIOR. I ordered some from Chadwick’s and received THIN, CHEAP skirts with a tiny piece of elastic for a waist band which was stretched out and falling apart. It’s like they were sitting in a warehouse for years. Anyway, there is no quality for the price as Slinky and I think HSN is not doing a good enough job finding replacement clothing lines if Slinky is not around anymore. HSN should have bought the factory. I do not shop at HSN anymore because they’ve done away with the brands that I most loved!!!!
Posted in Forum: FashionI miss Maggie Sweet fashions that were sold on HSN and presented by Daniel Kiviat. Since the 90’s, I have purchased thousands of pieces of the clothing line and still reaching to wear some of it today. The fabrics were nicer, and it was such fun waiting for the next collection to be presented. Not having as much fun today with so many of the materials being clingy and slinky and ill fitting. But it is fun to look back at my past obsession with that clothing line.
I still miss the Slinky clothing line. For several years now, and perhaps since Slinky left, I’ve been buying from Antthony at HSN, which I really like. On occasion, I buy things from Marla Wayne, who writes her clothing line name MarlaWayne, one word. Good luck!
Been awhile, just found some older Slinky brand pants in my closet – came to buy some new stuff and find out it’s gone – I am very sad.
If anyone knows of clothing that fits like Slinky (soft, flowy, no wrinkles) – please post. I’ll check out Susan Graver – sounds like she might be similar – tho more expensive — isn’t everything more expensive these days?

HSN please please please bring back SLINKY BRAND! I’ve bought IMAN, DG2, Graver, Anthony, and Women With Control but I always go back to my SLINKY BRAND clothes. SLINKY BRAND had the perfect material — perfect weight, perfect knit, perfect everything. HSN please bring it back!
