Does anyone remember?
I miss Maggie Sweet fashions that were sold on HSN and presented by Daniel Kiviat. Since the 90’s, I have purchased thousands of pieces of the clothing line and still reaching to wear some of it today. The fabrics were nicer, and it was such fun waiting for the next collection to be presented. Not having as much fun today with so many of the materials being clingy and slinky and ill fitting. But it is fun to look back at my past obsession with that clothing line.

I tried to watch HSN many years ago, but they did not offer High Definition for the HSN Channel in CT. I sent letters to HSN asking them to offer their channel in High Definition, but they said they only offered it in certain areas of the country and couldn’t afford it everywhere.
Even back then they were behind the times they will start offering everything in tall & petites like QVC does in another 40 years. -
How about the Fashion Channel around the same time, which was part of QVC, remember that entity?

I still miss Slinky, Carolyn Strauss, Cervelle, Brayfair, and my fave Adolfo.

Hello All!
I have recently acquired a very large collection of several HSN brands like Maggie Sweet, Slinky, Storybook Knits, Bob Mackie, and Susan Graver!!! They are all still in the original packaging with tags attached. Most are sized small and medium. Looking to off load most of them, if anyone is interested!!!
They came from an avid HSN shopper that just never even opened her packages, but continued to order everyday. I have at least 100 of each brand. -
Before I opened your post, I said Mindy McCourtney. I loved Mindy and Daniel together.
Anyone know what she is doing today?
I wore a Maggie Sweet top yesterday. The quality was great. -
Loved the Maggie Sweet line! I also liked Carolyn Strauss as a host, plus sized fit model, with a line of clothing for all sizes that offered stylish items for work, travel and leisure. I also miss Diane Von Furstenburg’s affordable washable silk items! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

We didn’t have HSN when I was growing up in the 90s but I love hearing stories about the different lines from those times! I know fashion was a big deal then and it seems like this line must have been a classic that stood the test of time ☺️ when quality mattered more too it seems! Nice when you have favorite ones that you can look back on and smile !

Oh my, do I ever remember Daniel Kiviat & his wonderful clothing line, and his sincerity and explanations of garments. He and his clothing both wonderful. Remember his liquid knit fabric? So, fast forward to this year I had to vent & posted that the graver woman (whom I have never purchased from, as dont like her or her saying”you would be silly not to buy this” Ok there she was in all her arrogance saying she invented and patented liquid knit!!! Made me sick so I posted on here figure they removed it. That is what she said. .I looked him up online few years ago hoping he was selling clothing elsewhere, but alas no. He is in Florida doing interior design. What a shame. Interestingly enough, tho, is after bragging about her liquid knit on many shows, she finally stopped. Sickening.

Glad that someone else shares my views! Take care.

I loved Maggie Sweet fashions. I, too, have a number of pieces that look as good today as they did the day they arrived. I don’t like much that is offer on HSN these days. Thank God I kept/maintained my weight because the clothes of yesteryear are the ones that held up.

I am happy u didnt gain weight as I did & was so sad to let go of my Maggie Sweet. Yep, they stood the test of time. It was the liquid knit fabric he offered. Wonder how graver got hold of it?
