NOT TRUE! Not sure why some of these types of falsehoods grow over time and presist but they do not own each other. They are and remain independent. Listen to the spoke person Beth Kingston who speaks and shows DP products on her own and also through HSN. She also sells her own company craft products sometimes connected or bundled with Diamond Press products but again they too are not merged or owned by the other. They are also independent. Beth continues to tell people that Crafters Companion has never been involved with DP or the other way around. Perhaps the confusion is via HSN and craft shows where both appear and sometimes one after the other or side by side. Sadly would it matter if they did merge to someone who is a fan of one or the other. Only if one took over the other and destroyed their qaulity or favored lines of course. Instead many are working together. Those fans of DP are fans because of the quality and extra care in directions etc. I struggled with my Spellbinder P machines cutting DP dies but then I figured it out. I’ve purchased to date 6 DP die cutting machines gifting 3 and the latest of course is their Grand M. I also discovered through experiment that I could save on the expensive die cutting folders using same depth of stainless steel cutting boards that my husband cut down to fit through the 4.5″ DP’ M’s and also I often just bought 4″ square ones. If you went too thin they just would bend and be of little service. But you also had to go with a bit thinner for the thicker dies from other works. In the end I did gift the steel plates for friends I gifted the machines too but from what I can gather NOT ONE OF THE THREE LADIES has ever mastered the use of the metal plates and also have little patience or understanding how to stretch the original folders beyond one or two uses! I know that makes it too expensive. I will pick up one to two boxes of folders on sale during the year for them each but there is a limit to how long I can supply my friends in these expensive supplies even on sale. That’s 30 dollars each time sometimes shipping too for 10 folders. Anyway bottom line I now have the Gina K/Bira intricut machine that allows me to select lighter or deeper depths to handle various thicknesses of dies and brands there of. I love that companies are opening up to no longer keeping everything priority inhouse only and can now work with one another. I’m a super fan of DP dies and sets. I do wish they would make or keep some of their new dies in stock longer than they seem to. Very frustrating. I’ve bought more than 500$ on their kits this past year. And closer to 1K actually if you include the Grand M too. But love they offer on occasion great sales. I do wish I lived close enough to visit their GARAGE or Winter YARD sale they held last winter…unfortunately at my age and my poor vision and cost of gas then..now it’s ridiculous…I had to stay home…snow and all. But it would have been a good 12-14 hour drive from NW MT too. I buy and own DP, Crafters Companion and Kingston products among many others too.
I agree! Craft shows aren’t very good anymore. Lots of older stuff on a lot. S&h is ok but the shows are intermittent and what happened to crafters companion? I hope they can at LEAST let us know if they are fading them out!!

Anna has the most beautiful paper and some is thick and some isnt giving a choice. also theres many brands of craft products out there with great paper and she cant have seen all of it, but our money is ok right? NO
The Crafters Companion lady looks out of it . She can’t stand up straight. What’s going on?

Sometimes they don’t restock HSN. It probably will eventually be released in Crafters Companion’s site. Just keep checking both sites.
Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI have always enjoyed my shopping experiences with HSN for 30 years. As a crafter, I find it odd that Sara Davies can go on 2 back to back crafting shows these past few months and have all her products with EXTENDED DELIVERY and when you are on Auto ship , your shipment is delayed, this recent one was for 5 weeks. When trying to call to find out info at Crafters Companion, no one seems to be around to answer the phone.
She has stated before on multiple occasions about products that can only be bought at “this low price” until they are gone and when they sell out, they are gone. It is amazing that suddenly they reappear from the ashes at a further discounted price.
I feel bad to ever say anything derogatory about a presenter, but to me, she seems to be dishonest and I am cancelling my auto shipments and will not purchase from her ..….”Nevermore!”

Even tinting or coloring the skin a different hue, the person’s are still obviously Caucasian. The few paper pages that depict Caucasian are not useful to persons of a different racial make up. Please be more inclusive.

Posted in Forum: Crafts & SewingI was wondering if anyone knew why Crafters Companion has stopped the AutoShip on their newest issues of Inspiration Magazine.
I’ve only received issue 1 and issue 2. I wasn’t very happy with issue 2, but I am more disappointed that they are not fulfilling the auto ships.
I had hoped that HSN or Crafters Companion would at least let us know when they discontinue auto ship items.
I really enjoy receiving the Inspiration magazines and hope that there might be a hold up instead of a discontinuation. Could it be that crafters companion is moving over to QVC? Thank you for any help.

I had asked during a crafters companion chat if they had an academy of color to teach people to color, if they could have an “ACADEMY OF CARD MAKING”? Leann responded that I should watch the HSN launch. They teach you to fold paper, big deal! You have to be able to cut and place die cuts, glue on ornaments and the only thing that this template gives you is a card base. I wanted to be taught how to make the entire card. If you are a brand new crafter trying to learn how to make a finished card, this does not do that. If they want you to watch crafters tv, to learn how to make the entire card, you may learn while they keep selling products. Just wondering 🤔🤔🤔
