I cannot watch her!! Switching the channel every time I hear her! My shopping goes to QVC these days. New show hosts have ruined HSN for me!

Friday the 13th – hope only good things happen for you today.😍
I have been super busy with mom. Took her to church and out to eat yesterday, along with help in and around the house. Today did some grocery shopping for her, hair salon, fixed her phone and computer since she has “busy” fingers.🖐️ I plan on putting my feet up with some kind of brew this evening.🍷🍹🍸 My knees will thank me.
Chilly and very windy, garbage cans flying all over the place.🗑️ A little warmer over the weekend and mostly cold next week. I don’t know what season this is!💁♀️
Congrats to your niece on her wedding.👰♀️ What a shame her hubs has to leave so soon. I assure you prayers will be said.🙏
Sit back and relax with me this evening. Big warm hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Good Evening Oodie out here in OZ where we live everyone has a two door garage.
So far the roofs are intact we had a new roof done a couple years ago.You are right about the Auto Shops I mean they are full this was on our local news.
The damage was bad for many cars and the car centers are overwhelmed. The Niece that got married is the one who lives in S.D. California. 😎 She has never
lived outside of California. I am happy for her but sad her new husband will be off
to the Gulf on Monday.I hope you like your Coat by Marla I have one and many of her pieces and they wear
well. 😎💕I am so glad she makes tall sizes.😎🎈
Sorry they won’t let you and hubby share a blanket good grief!
I would relax now and I hope you find your paper work we are working on taxes too. 😎

Well, your gif of Marla Wynne’s Melton Jacket made me purchase it. I had seen it online and again in today’s listings and passed. But that gif did more for me in that it would be perfect to take along when I visit hubs. The Rehab is so cold that I start shivering. Hubs is so cute in that he wants to share the Sherpa with me. But, unfortunately, the Rehab does not permit it. Oh well. So, this will come in handy. I have a lap quilt in the car as well. Yesterday, I caught the RN making a mad dash to her car. Could not figure out why until she returned wearing a winter jacket with fur around the hood and neck. Yes, it was that cold when I was signing out. Instead of the A/C I turned the heat up. The temp outside was over 70.
I did not visit hubs today. Needed to play catchup on paying bills and to go through mail to find some tax info. Did not find the tax info, tomorrow is another day and start making some phone calls. This is a yearly problem.
We had a bit of rain today. Nothing to write home about. We will have some rain chances through Tuesday when the temps will drop for a few days. I saw some videos online with the hail being baseball sized and over. I hope your neighbors are OK. I surmise that the auto boy shops will be busy for awhile Hope everyone remained safe and that includes their pets.
Your niece who just tied the knot, is this the same one that lives outside of CA.? I pray that he will be OK. This is a very scary situation for both of them.

Kimberly Wells started off years ago as a HSN host and then she went to Shopnbc. I guess the well ran dry for her over there, so she is back here.

What I don’t understand is why do they leave, then come back, then leave again. And appear on other shopping channels.

After 31 years of selling his designs on national TV shopping networks, Savannah designer Antthony Mark Hankins has hauled HSN and QVC Group into federal court, accusing them of cutting him loose with no warning and gutting his brand on the way out. The complaint says the networks pulled his airtime on short notice, sold off his remaining inventory at steep discounts, and even continued using his likeness after he was taken off the schedule. Hankins is seeking at least $30 million in damages and has demanded a jury trial, casting the case as a fight to protect decades of work and a loyal customer base.

Good luck to her. Was not a fan of her on the other shopping channel. Will dvr her shows so I don’t have to “watch” her on this one. HSN needs actual clothing designers, quality kitchen wares and a far better offering of foods and beverages, not more hosts. Just sayin.

Well, I hear you all and agree that HSN has changed. I still shop DG2 and Marla, and I did buy a lot of jewelry like turquoise from dealers that have left HSN, and although I do like Chaco Canyon, I preferred the Native Indian lady that came to represent the brand and the actual artisans vs. the lady that now comes.
I never really bought a lot of QVC until recently, since I discovered Le Creuset, Vitamix, Kitchen Aid, Isaac and Dooney (back in the day), Stacey London, Spring Step, and Peace LOve World. I thought that they had a better shoe selection than HSN, and the new denim line (Driftwood) that was once in Sundance magazine (because I shopped Sundance a lot!)
Lastly, the food selling is reidiculous….please reduce that time slot…please also reduce Kim Gravel since her clothes are mostly copied from other designers (nothing original or expensive looking). Has Kim bought the station????

Is that the Swan necklace that Heidi is wearing? I probably will miss watching in person since I will be with hubs at the Rehab. The satellite the Rehab uses does not include any of the shopping channels. Using Amazon’s tablet HD may work. And speaking of Amazon, today begins the Scarpetta series. I have been a fan of Patricia Cornwall for a few years and her stories are always breathtaking and a journey that once you are into the characters, the book mesmerizes you into the next phase. I look forward to seeing how Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis inter-relate as sisters. Hope the video does not disappoint. The story line is huge.
I had a strong feeling that yesterday was going to be something else. I read the weather reports online and they were not good. Tornadoes were not ruled out. I cannot fathom the size of those hail stones. I am used to the ones that are a small ice cube size. I only hope that your neighbors are OK. Those things can do tons of damage. I surmise that the kitties and others will be knocking at your door in the morning and again at the usual time. Getting scared during mealtime is not to be taken lightly.
Now getting ready to visit hubs. He has a new roommate. This one also has a home on the Cape in Chatham. It’s just about ten miles from our door to theirs. Be nice visiting when we return. The Chatham beach on the ocean side is extremely beautiful. Loads of sand area and at low tide you can walk a bit into the ocean. However, you need to go at your own risk because of the seals and the “Great Whites.” Never a dull moment in that area. The shopping along the main street is one of the busiest areas. Good luck finding parking. One shop after another offers one of a kind shirts, dresses, pants, original art, etc..The buildings are quite picturesque almost antique looking. Browsing is acceptable. Excellent restaurants on the main road and off the beaten track. Not one bad. Each offers a different cuisine with a nice fish touch. Meat eaters will find many choices as well. Enough said. I must raid our frig. Made myself hungry. LOL

David Rawlinson II is the HEAD OF QUARATE GROUP which owns QVC & HSN the President of QVC Stacey Bowe is the President of QVC & the merchandising USA. I blame the top person which is David Rawlinson II.
I think QVC is going in the wrong direction and HSN has been trying to pull themselves out of a hole, but they just keep making it bigger with all the poor designers they are allowing to sell on HSN.
Instead of HSN finding really good designers not a name only and start demanding all sizes and quality they will continue to go downhill.
I still like HSN and I love their customer service for the most part the majority are all really helpful and pleasant, but they need to have brands that are great not just any brand that is marketed at a cheap price you can find cheap anywhere people are looking for quality at a good price.
Also, they need to start acting more professional and stop treating the customers like they are morons and tell us over and over where we can use their merchandise, how to wear it where to wear it; it is repetitive chaos that is going to drive customers away. Also, don’t tell us we can’t find a better deal because oh yes, we can and we can find quality to boot. I shop all over & there are a lot of stores that have been around forever that are competitive in pricing, and they sell petites regular and tall in 99% of what they sell.

It’s become the Kim Gravel show on QVC (overpriced ) and the second rate offerings with washed up television/movie stars on HSN.Why is Iman and Anthony not at HSN anymore? You have 1 Designer C.Wonder and an ok Giuliana. I still shop but the days of joy is gone…the movie themes and capsule collections are gone. The video playback is now .
