The problem, it seems, goes back to management. There has been quite a bit of discussion on flex pay, lowering the costs of shipping, purchasing one item regular price shipping and the rest of the day free shipping on that product (example: craft day). why some clearance prices have been raised, lowering prices on merchandise because it can be found less expensive elsewhere. The list goes on and on. Take a look at who is left as vendors at HSN from the previous ownership. Home Shopping is a great resource now that we have the pandemic. Many retailers should be taking advantage of this. Yet, you have QVC and HSN where the quality has gone downhill and yet the prices are inflated. The real source, though, is management. They tend not to listen to what the consumer says is best for their business. Do they try it out, NO. They think they know better. In this day and age you must listen to the consumer and to take their suggestions seriously. Here’s one suggestion that may help to get them on the right track. Many of us play the games in the Arcade and win tickets. What can you use those tickets for???? Well, right now only in the Rewards Store on the Featured and Current Sweepstakes. And, if those Sweepstakes tends to be of no interest to you, then the tickets add up. How about once or twice a year HSN and QVC says you can purchase something you like using your tickets. They can determine how many tickets you could use for certain items as well. I think people would have a great time doing this as well as trying to win something in the Sweeps. This is just a suggestion, of course, which no one in management would see fit. They are too afraid of losing $$$ rather than winning customers. That’s my thoughts.

FOR SMALL ITEMS LIKE JEWELRY OR COSMETICS IT STARTS FROM 2.00 UP TO 7.50. I NEVER GET “FREE SHIPPING”. I DON’T ORDER THINGS LIKE BEFORE BECAUSE OF THE SHIPPING COST. I WANTED TO ORDER SOME KIND OF STORAGE OTTOMAN THAT WAS ON CLEARANCE FOR 49.99 AND THE SHIPPING WAS LIKE 69.00. RIDICULOUS. SHIPPING WENT UP A LOT SINCE QVC TOOK OVER.
Posted in Forum: Talk Among YourselvesI use to be an avid HSN shopper and purchased many items from Joy Magano and Iman, even handbags from Sharif while he was alive and featured on HSN. QVC has frumpy clothes and boring accessories which seemed more overpriced then HSN items. Stopped shopping on HSN when I no longer recognized the designers. The platform for selling items via on air talk hosts is fading out. Younger generations don’t have time nor interest to sit and listen to endless descriptions of items on their tv or even on Ipads, phones, etc. It’s become so trendy to buy used and save $ because consumers are being inundated with so many outrageous fees on credit card interest rates of which HSN has one of the highest via Synchronicity. The convenience of spreading out payments to purchase more expensive items just isn’t worth it. HSN/QVC have too much competition. My favorite brands such as Bzees or Clarks shoes are sold on other sites which offer constant discounts. HSN offers minimal discounts and always on non clearance items. Don’t waste your $ on HSN/QVC, or comparison shop before buying on HSN.
Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI recently ordered a few clearance fashion items. I received an HSN box last night that did have my name on it, but inside was someone else’s packing slip and order! This happened to me recently with QVC as well. Now I have to schlep to the Post Office and call customer service, what a pain! And meanwhile, where is MY merchandise? With that other person? Does this person now have my information? Do I have to wait for her to return my merchandise before I can receive it? Shame on your warehouse staff, HSN and QVC! I know mistakes happen but come on! If you are filling multiple orders can you at least check that you are sending the right goods to the right person??? Not very happy!
Posted in Forum: Clearance, Special & CouponsI am so tired of having to scroll through clearance items that have been sold out for weeks and even months. DG2 used to be 5 pages of inventory. Now it is up to 7 with all the sell outs. Same with other vendors. Also, I don’t appreciate the “As-Is” items. These should be listed in a separate category (in my opinion). It seems to give the entire website a “tackier” image. Is this the image the parent company of HSN and QVC wants to portray
Posted in Forum: HomeNot sure if since merger w/QVC or what. But HSN shipping and handling have gotten out of hand. Clearance item(blanket) has higher s/h than regular items. 7.50 vs 5.50. After tax added…its still $24-$25. Clearance??? They put a sale price..yet increase the S/H. I thought s/h were cost based by weight and size. QVC HSN make up their own rules.

Noticed something odd suspicious after seeing joys stand in lady who has the same Long Island drawl for joys items on clearance last week . I’m obsessed with joys botanical spray cleaner that’s discontinued. Hsn u would have done customers a favor and sold to another company that’s not on tv. Already hsn had gone downhill in its programs and will probably get worse . Sad
