NATIONAL DAY OF GIVING
National Day of Giving encourages giving back. It takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. We’ve just spent the weekend shopping and searching for the best possible deals. National Day Of Giving reminds us to give to those in need. Whether we look to our favorite causes or charities, it is a great reminder to lift others up during a generous time of year. On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

CYBER MONDAY
Cyber Monday is the Internet’s answer to Black Friday deals. The official observance takes place the Monday after Thanksgiving.
While Internet-based companies traditionally offered their best holiday shopping on Cyber Monday to compete with Black Friday deals in brick and mortar stores, things have been changing. However, in more recent years, Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals tend to run together. Some start as early as the week of Thanksgiving and run right through the holiday season. But don’t neglect online deals. There may still be savings to be had.

Sheba, sounds like you and hubs are on it for decorating. I’m still waiting for my decor as it’s in the attic but the good news is I have my repaired earrings back. It’s not perfect but thats not obvious. I wore them today as a test run.
I tried to go to a shopping area today and as I was waiting for a spot, another car came in the opposite direction and turned on their signal to turn into the spot I was waiting for, ugh… so I left. I’ll stick to online shopping. Hear that HSN? 🙂

Both Sarahs are pretty tough to watch. Sarah A was delightful when she came over from ShopHQ but really has struggled with the “larger” emphasis on her role in the host lineup since being brought up from FL. Sarah T is also tough to watch. Baby talk and the constant referring to her as a Disney Princess and singing is obnoxious.

It is a chilly Saturday in the ‘burgh.🥶 We are supposed to get some accumulating snow on Tuesday.❄️ Light up night was yesterday, all is looking well and still standing from the winds.
Like you, I am having a do as little as possible day. I also did not go out shopping yesterday but I did order some candles online.🕯️ I burn a lot of them and I use them as gifts for Christmas, mainly for people who have been courteous/helpful/nice throughout the year to me and/or hubs. Sometimes I have never even met them if it’s someone my husband deals with so it’s a good, generic gift all can use. Also got my cards done yesterday.
Hubs was at the hockey game last Wednesday and Christina Aguilera and Liev Schreiber were there. She’s from the neighborhood next door and he is doing a movie here.
That’s about all going on. Enjoy your calm day, big thankful hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Posted in Forum: Customer ServiceI see from this thread that I am not the only one who has an authorization hold for an order that was denied. Funny part is, the order was denied because my card type isn’t accepted, and yet, money was taken from it. My father, too, shopped with HSN for years and after trying once I will never, ever try again and will warn everyone against it on social media. Please send a request to my bank immediately to expedite release of the funds. I would like for my kids to have presents under the tree on Christmas morning, and if they don’t, it will be majorly in thanks to HSN. Merry effin Christmas.

Sorry to hear that the Chiefs lost. They did play hard. Everything at the last minutes. Oh well, another game coming up.
I actually just returned home from visiting hubs. The food is helping to bring his mind back a bit. I think I read online that diet does play an intricate part in keeping the brain healthy. I will continue this when he returns. Definitely will keep plenty of fresh veggies and fruit in the frig. I may need to puree the fruit unless he can take smaller bites. Tonight’s dinner proved he could do it.
Like you, I did not partake the sales in the stores. Actually, I was afraid to be in a crowd and having to deal with those long lines at the register. Didn’t venture out until I left for the Rehab and a fill up at Sam’s Club. I’m hoping to do some shopping tomorrow at the Farmer’s Market and will check on some things that hubby may enjoy.
It is very chilly here with temps in the mid fifties. Warm up begins tomorrow with temps in the 70s and back to the mid sixties through the morning hours of Sunday.
Since I left before dinner, think I will have a bowl of soup. Have a great evening. Nice moonlight tonight. Enjoy your walk.

BLACK FRIDAY
In the United States, the day after Thanksgiving has become known as Black Friday and is considered the official kick-off for holiday shopping. Retailers across the country slash prices, offer doorbuster deals on popular big-ticket items, and often open in the wee hours of the morning to extend early bird specials. Dedicated and thrifty shoppers line up outside the stores to be the first to grab that special deal or this season’s popular and hard-to-find gift.
Despite being the traditional kick-off to holiday shopping, Black Friday isn’t the only day retailers slash prices. These days, many retailers begin deals and specials right after Halloween. Many also offer special, exclusive deals to their online or app-using shoppers.
