I have found a brand of pants comparable to Slinky. It is made by JoStar and is available at
FashionShowBoutique.com It is 94% acetate and 6% Spandex. There are no pockets, just like Slinky. The waistband is a little wider and the pants legs a little longer than SLlnky–but it is almost the same thing!
Honestly, I think both political parties are guilty for the situation we find ourselves In! Remember, Ivana Trump had big business with China selling her clothing line. Anyway, not to get off the subject, I was/am so surprised that Slinky Brand is no longer available. Jackie always made a point of telling us their clothing was made here in the USA. It’s even getting difficult finding appliances that are made here. We consumers are really in a difficult dilemma, since where the products are made is rarely ever mentioned. Happy (?) Shopping!
I agree!!!!! I have a wedding to attend and when checking my garment bags I came across some pretty slinky sets….I too miss them!

Now that I can’t find, I will have to only wear these on special occasions……will save as they are my favorite! Hope another shopping channel will pick Slinky Brand up,

She has had some beautiful pieces that can be mixed and matched so I am set for the next 10 years 🙂 I deleted all my programmed shows for HSN for the month. How about the rest of you? Have you been buying a lot lately from your favorite vendors? There are very few brands that I watch now. Sometimes Colleen and Diane. I, too, miss Slinky.

Slinky brand was my fave. Still looking new after all these years. Please bring them back.
I have loads of Susan Graver and several Slinky Brand dresses. Slinky’s quality is equal to Graver. But, what brand do I get the most compliments on? Slinky Brand. I’m really sad I cannot get it’s clothing any longer. I hope it comes back to HSN.
Thankfully, Slinky clothing was so well made that my many pieces from many years ago still come out of the wash looking like they did the first moment I took them out of the HSN packaging. It was an amazing line and my tops and pants are so classic they may last forever!! It topped my list of HSN favorites and it is missed.
I believe Slinky moved their production to masks and such and as far as I know, never returned to clothing production. I miss their line of fashion as well, their fabrics were so comfy!

I actually just found a beautiful coral flowered print top at the blue big box store everyone trashes. It looks more chic, expensive and is 10X more beautiful for under $13. I wore it today and it felt heavenly, kind of like Slinky did before that line got canned. Normally, I do not buy clothes there but took a chance. So happy I did. Will go back for the other colors. I heard the idea was to shoot for a younger customer base but, honestly, I cannot imagine my granddaughter or her friends wearing any of the clothes here except for the jeans (maybe). I must be because I just don’t get it.
I believe that the merger and restructuring of the HSN/QVC conglomerate has made for some tensions with a number of the vendors like Slinky & Joy Mangano as well as leading to the resignation of many of HSN’s longtime and loved hosts such as Connie and Robyn.
Although many people during this pandemic have turned to shopping as a past time, I have found that I do not shop as much overall but especially so with either HSN or QVC channels because I no longer am as satisfied with the products and the service I receive. Unfortunately when things change, they often do not change for the better.
