Peace Out Peeps! Girls I have a major headache will see all tomorrow taking
some meds. Everyone stay safe and cool. So glad Oodie and Xango had some
much needed rain. 😘😎✨

Hi. I am absolutely fine. Just a bit black & blue on a thigh. If it isn’t too humid tomorrow, may try to put the bench together with hubby’s help. That’s the butterfly bench as a TS a few days ago.

We tried to go out for Thai food today and changed our minds when we saw that a Dim Sum restaurant was not that far away. However, the storm came and we decided to stay home and watch the lightning. We may try tomorrow or Tuesday.

You really had alot of rain. It poured here for about an hour. I’m sure it made some dent in our drought situation. However, with temps in the mid nineties, this rain will not last that long. And as for watering the plants. Once per week is what we do and that’s Friday.

We are still talking about a trip into Brandon for our Oriental market. I love the way they cut up a whole chicken which makes it easy for us to take the skin off. They also have a nice take out area so there is always something to bring home. The bakery is actually a delivery from Orlando. They also have other markets in Tampa and St. Pete. .

Good evening. No dinner out today. Instead we stayed home and watched a thunderstorm take shape and later some much needed rain. It’s still cloudy, so not sure if more will come later.

Thankfully, the fall just shook me up a bit. No broken skin. A couple of black and blue marks where no one will see them. Just call me lucky on that one. However, it was due to the way the UPS person left the package. Normally, they leave things behind the recycle bin, but I surmise he or she felt it was a bit heavy, so left part of it on the first step. I was trying to get it to the lanai area, but, it just made it to the door before I tripped on the back part. I made tons of noise by knocking down the metal planter, metal cranes, and some other items. Thought for sure hubby would hear the clangs and the bangs, but he was fast asleep. I guess now I will carry the cell when I’m out and about. Of course the ring tones in the house won’t get him up. I am almost positive that using the voice mail wouldn’t lend an ear either. Oh well. I’m OK and that’s what matters most.

Love your shoes. Are they yours???? I used to wear the spike heels and loved them. Great for the high arch support along with the ever exercise from dance classes as well. I don’t know if I ever told you the story of walking to a dental appointment from work one day. To get to the office I had to walk through a park that was near the office. All of a sudden I had the feeling that I was being followed and upped the pace. Then for some reason I slowed down and when I could feel the person at my back I did a kick maneuver that got him in the right place. He yelled and I took my shoes off and ran. Luckily, my uncle had an office right near where I was and I was able to go inside and mentioned what happened. I do not recall if the police were called. But at the time I thanked my mom for those modern dance classes and the lessons they taught me. Oh, yes, dentist appointment was cancelled and dad came for me a few minutes later.

I am absolutely thrilled that Poppy is OK. I think those walks really help keep him mobile. However, even if hubby stays behind, I would definitely take Poppy. I really do not think he would enjoy being home alone for all those hours he is working. Besides, he would be the center of attention while on your adventure.

Hello Oodie, I hope this finds you well. How are you and your husband?
I read about you tripping and falling, I hope you are not hurt. We old-folks sometimes try to do to much. I still think I can do lots, then I try and my body says nope😂 Like moving a very heavy coffee table and almost throwing my back off.
We had lots of rain yesterday, and again today.

Sheba, those bunnies sound adorable. Today I watered some plants and separated some of the tomato plants. We don’t get too many tomatoes but they have grown a lot.
The pillows I purchased had a $10.00 price drop. I am so happy with them.
