Conversation 25
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 25 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

NATIONAL GIVE SOMETHING AWAY DAY
Most of us have the benefit of having more than we need to live. National Give Something Away Day on July 15 offers us an opportunity to share some of our bounties.
In the United States, giving is on the rise. According to Giving USA, giving rose in all nine major categories in 2016.
Religion
Education
Human services
Giving to foundations
Health, public-society benefit
Arts
Culture and humanities
International affairs
Environment and animals.
Giving benefits us all, too. It improves our community and puts much-needed services and assistance within the reach of those who need it most. The giver also benefits. Giving not only makes us feel good but it teaches gratitude, too. Whether we give financially or by offering our skills and services, we lift others up. Our words can be a gift, too. Showing empathy, encouragement, and compassion to someone during a time of need may make us feel vulnerable, but it empowers those we offer it to as well. You can also share your time with others by volunteering. While you may not think you have something to give away, you might be surprised. Tangible items like clothing, money, and food aren’t always what’s needed, though they may be the most common. On this day, broaden your goals and organize a give something away fundraiser. Also, look around your community, and identify the places that need you the most. Focus your energies there.

NATIONAL TAPIOCA PUDDING DAY
National Tapioca Pudding Day on July 15th encourages us to dig into this pudding dish enjoyed around the world!

NATIONAL GUMMI WORM DAY
Each year, National Gummi Worm Day gets a day of recognition on July 15 to honor a small candy that kids and adults love.
Gummy worms are green and red but come in a variety of flavors, such as sweet and sour! These creepy treats are one of the best-selling candies of all time. Gummi worms are inspired by the original gummi candy, gummy bears. Other sweet and sour gummy treats include snakes, peaches, and gumdrops, just to name a few.
While you can snack on gummi worms all on their own, they make great additions to desserts like dirt pudding and casket pie. You can also add them to your ice cream, parfaits, and beverages.

NATIONAL I LOVE HORSES DAY
On July 15 we recognize the love of one magnificent creature on National I Love Horses Day! With over 200 breeds, these spirited animals give humans much to love. Their loyalty and devotion throughout history may only be a fraction of the reasons to love them.

So sorry that you are still not feeling up to par. The meds should help, but your reaction is lasting
too long. Definitely contact your physician and hopefully, you will start feeling better by the end of day. Take care and let Poppy out in the yard. It is too hot to be out and about especially if you are having warnings relating to the heat. I was fully hydrated yesterday and still did not feel right. -

Sheba, Ouch! Well it sounds like the vaccines are doing their job. You will be well protected. I missed my last covid vaccine and never went back for it and ended up with Covid in January. Had my 3rd Bob cat encounter of the year and yesterday joined a local gym. The other place didn’t follow-up with me so I moved on. This last time a hiker and is daughter warned me, but I saw people in the area and on the trail so kept going. It looked like a baby bob cat in a side area off the trail. Poor thing, I think he wanted to get up the trail and was waiting. The Sales Guy at the gym and I chatted quite a bit and he ended up telling me to arm for my hike and believe me no one, including me, would want that. Speaking off, that was when Trump’s Rally and assassination attempt was going on. Sad about the death of an innocent in the stand and the 2 others injured.
Hope your feel better soon.
