I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.

Hi to you in chilly Oz. Our weather is about the same but at least we had a little sunshine today.🌞 Warmer by Sunday.
Crazy game last night, didn’t watch it all so not sure if we were that good or they were that bad.🏒 Probably a little of both. I hate talking on the phone but my friend called (the one who just lost her husband) so I let her say anything she wanted for about 1-1/2 hours.📞 I told her months ago my gift to you is I am here to listen. You thanking me for support is not needed, that is the least I can do for you and it is so easy. Just thrilled you are A+.🥰🙌
Dinner today will be friend baloney, egg, cheese and tomato sandwiches.🥪 Stay warm by the fire, hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Oz is frozen I mean even the cat food is frozen I brought it in to warm up before the cats
come. We are only in the 20’s right now but windchill put it at 17 degrees. Yikes!Sending warm loving hugs to you and Jake. 😎🎈💕😘

Poppy was so good on our walk this morning I gave him a nice treat. 💕

It is now Saturday afternoon. Hubby was released from the hospital yesterday, late afternoon, to the rehab. Luckily, the RN on his floor phoned to say he was still at the hospital at 3pm, so I didn’t have to rush. However, he arrived shortly before dinner and when I arrived he had finished his meal and though it was good, the hospital did a better job. The only meal the hospital gave him yesterday was breakfast, which meant that he had no lunch. He was starved. I did bring some watermelon and cookies. However, the RN came in and said he could not eat anything unless it was from their kitchen. Can you believe that watermelon is no longer edible??? The Rehab kitchen closes at 6pm and thus there was no way for me to get him dessert or soup. And by the way, I cannot bring soup to him from home, even if it’s only broth. To think, while he was in the hospital, he was eating normally. I didn’t have to ask if I could bring something from home. All I had to do was ask the RN for another meal or dessert and that was answered by the kitchen without a question. The hospital kitchen closes at 8 pm..
I will be meeting with the hospital’s nutritionist this week to go over recipes and ideas and ways to puree, if necessary. Hotdogs are off the menu, even at Costco’s. However, hamburg is in providing it is mashed and it is soft. Sometimes hubby likes stuffed peppers, and this will be OK if I follow the recipes. Dragon fruit is a no no. Not from their kitchen. However, it is like a pudding and I will bring it. I also have apple sauce in the frig. Wonder if I will have to throw that out. The food is OK at the rehab, just not enough to fill him up. I hope to meet with the social worker this week to start the process of bringing hubby home. I am absolutely livid.
