Sheba, Nice your neighbor is in SD. Hope he can go to the SD Zoo or/and Safari Park, plus there is a Sea World. It’s so nice of you to watch over his place. So far Halloween is slow and I have a lot of candy.
In the picture you posted of Portugal is a Pastel de nata. My hubs enjoyed this custard treat a lot and often. They are sold in the markets and cafe’s. It was created by Portuguese Monks in the early 1800’s. In a city in Portugal I ordered an Ice Coffee. Yup it was on the menu. I literally got a glass, some ice cubes in it, and a tiny cup of hot coffee. I skipped the ice and glass. It was pretty funny. Portugal’s famous dish is Cod or Bacalhau. It is a salted sort of dried cod. The funny thing here is that some Tourists complain about it being salty. It is literally salted cod and a national dish.

Happy Halloween! Enjoy seeing the kiddos that come to your house. Things have changed since I was young. I grew up in the city so we had may blocks of homes to visit. We would be out for hours, make pit stops back home to dump the bags and go back for some more. People would even invite us into their house to admire our outfits. There was no such thing as bad candy. Although I did hate the popcorn balls. Those were the days…..

Another near 80 day but a lot cooler tomorrow into the weekend. I hope your storm wasn’t real bad yesterday. Interesting info about the WNBA, they seem to be catching on and expanding. What a crazy World Series game last night, didn’t know who was going to win. Congrats to the Dodgers!

Neighbor across the road is in the hospital with a real bad case of the flu. He was just talking to my husband two days ago so keeping my fingers crossed.

Good morning in California Kitten Happy Halloween to you and your grandson.

Good day in the ‘burgh and Happy Halloween. I would just kick back and enjoy the
Hockey Game tonight.

We don’t get a lot of kids on my block but we do have some. I like to see them in groups
and safe with parents. Hubby and I always took our kids out for trick or treat and we had
a ball. Oz is in the 50’s but will fall back to the 40’s later today.

Very interesting World Series Game. I miss our region being in the Series.

The Mahomes are working on bringing a WNBA to the region I am in Kansas so this
could go to MO/KAN it is all over the news.

Good morning in S. California hey you will not believe it but my next door neighbor
just texted me to tell me he is in SD your area. I guess he was in a hurry as he
always let me know he is out of town. I can see clear into his house. Taci this neighbor
friend travels all over the world. I mean he does not play around.

I always keep a watch on his home he has every light on and the windows open. LOL!
I close up shop when it gets dark.

Oodie do you get trick or treaters on Halloween? I have some treats I will give out to
