Good evening Poppy always gets lost in the leaves I think he likes to play in them.
Hubby has his work cut out for him. We are storming right now and the leaves are
falling left and right. Tis the season.

Happy Halloween Eve I have been doing a Halloween Party here on HSN for 10 years.
This is the 10th year of my thread. 💕😎🎈Lady it takes work and passion I love what
I do. The thread is small because everyone was always interesting in the Arcade, etc.

Thank you for being a part of my life and all the support you gave me over the years.
My tribe is small but I am so grateful for the things you all have been there for me. 😎🎈

I am getting things together for the little kiddies. I stop when it gets real dark. LOL!

Good Evening and I know how you feel about Grand Central Station. 🎈😎
I love it I always come in from Buffalo, New York. I love Central Park and you
are right about the food. 💕😎

I was in a hotel off Central Park I was modeling and working for a major Orchestra
and the staff made sure I knew where to go I had a ball. I would love an extened
stay in New York City. One of my kids is a College Grad and she lived there for 7 years.
I am happy she had no issues or problems and she met many people while there.
Daughter can ride the subway like a regular New Yorker. 😎💕

All my kids have visited and stayed in New York. My daughter that works for HBO
had an event and took a pic with Anderson Cooper I thought is was so cool. This
daughter has a long list of celebrities but this was a charity event. 💕
Kids are still young but I train them young.

I hope you get that train ride to where ever you want to go. 😎 Oodie your post
reminds of the book Iris Apfel wrote and was sold here on HSN. Iris and her husband
Carl traveled like you and hubby remember they had material and textile. I miss her
dearly. 💕

Let’s all hope and pray hubby can get home and soon. Oodie even if he can’t do much
just being there and helping him is a blessing there is no place like home and he may
improve. I would have some additional help when needed you can’t do it all. I know you
can make this happen. Did I miss your Anniversary? I like to acknowledge people with
special events. I have always done this on HSN for anyone. I am always overlook when it
comes to things like that and I have grown use to it. LOL! 😎 It is what it is and I am not
the favorite but I am me. 😘💕

@oodiebom, okay. I just thought I’d throw some ideas out there. My Dad had had a second stroke and was unable to walk or talk, plus had a feeding tube, which is why I had my friend fly back with him. I wish you both the very best of luck. I know that this has been very stressful and I admire your strength.

Amtrack sounds like a great way to travel. If you can be comfortable, and walk around, plus get great meals – awesome. I will let my friend know (the one I have mentioned before) as she had to go to Colorado last month for a family visit and said the air travel was exhausting.
We did have an issue with a train ride, or lack thereof, the train was a no show, with no cancellations or warning. We had to Uber to a bus stop and ended up going by bus. The bus was full, very comfortable, and efficient. The swollen river in Prague, and canceled trains, were due to a storm (flooded the tracks). It only rained for about 2 days of our trip.
A funny food thing was in Portugal, I ordered water to drink and the waiter just automatically brought me white wine. This made me very happy and tasted great.
I’m prepped for the Trick-or-Treaters, but with minimal decorations. I’m sure your place looks great!

Had a bit of nostalgia yesterday with the train ride. Hubby and I used to drive to New Haven to pick up the Metro North Train to Manhattan. It was a lovely ride with tons of scenery to admire and many bridges to cross. The train left us at Grand Central and oh how I enjoyed looking at those old clocks and watching people hustling to other destinations. Within Grand Central was a walk to the subway where we picked up the R or N Train for both the Italian Area and Asian Fare. Loved the many scents from the bakeries and of course before returning home we would pick up so many items. Luckily, we always took one of those carts or what we used to call baggage carts. They, like the Z-Best, folded nicely. We always brought the bungee cords to tie things together. It was fun. We stopped at all the grocery stores on Canal and often bought dishes, chopsticks, and canned goods. This was way before the time where we had Asian markets nearby. There is now a huge market in Rhode Island where they had vegetables that I had never seen before. They had a flowering tree . The flowers were actually buds. I had no idea what they were, but since I was mesmerized by the flower, I bought a few twigs. Well, those twigs turned out to be mini cauliflowers and so delicious. That will be one place I will venture to when we return North. But, going back to New York, the trip home was one more stop. I had to get our bagel fix. Luckily, our favorite bakery had a small market in Grand Central. We not only picked up the water bagels, but also homemade rye bread, seeded of course. Their chicken salad and Matzo Balls were not to be forgotten either. The bakery, Zabar is phenomenal. I just wish they would send things our way. They deliver to the surrounding area only. It’s a deli and grocery store. Oops, just saw the time. Need to get going. I’m debating Asian on the way.
