The food we used to be able to enjoy becomes difficult as we age. I have an allergy to sulfites. Sulfites is in everything. Shampoo, Conditioner, soaps, detergent, food, wine, cinnamon, corn starch, corn syrup, vinegar and the list goes on and on. Anything with preservatives I have to look out for. And in my case, I purchased a tooth thing at Costco that cleans in between the teeth. It is made of plastic and that is another problem. I can tolerate some plastic materials, but some I cannot. To awake with a swollen jaw and cheeks, tongue and gums was scary. I haven’t has that happen since I first started with this allergy. So, I had to take the meds. Next doctor appointment I will be asking for an epi pen. Sometimes, the allergy gives me the beginnings of an upset stomach. I tried Alka Seltzer in the beginning. But it made me feel worse. I now use Pepto Bismal. It is soft and tastes OK. No after taste and it does work for me. However, I now have a new symptom where I feel like fainting. I don’t faint, but do come pretty close to it. And since I’m the designated driver, fingers crossed that it doesn’t occur while I’m behind the wheel. Guess, you need to do what I do. Read the ingredients. Have the butcher trim some of the fat. Eat chicken without the skin, etc. etc. And, definitely keep a record of the food you ate including the in between meal snacks. And definitely consult with your physician.
Let us know what he/she says. Yes, it could be gall bladder. You may not need surgery, but a change in diet will help. Take care of yourself.

Thank you for your post my cousin has a small City surrounding her but only one at
a time can visit some are standing outside the hospital holding hands. ✨✨

I can’t imagine being in an weather related accident and waking up find my husband
did not make it.

We will get through this one thing about this cousin she is very well off that means nothing
without the one you love. 💕

Hi Sheba, That’s good news about your cousin. I’m glad she woke up, now it’s up hill recovery. I am glad there are family members there to help in the recovery. It’s good they sedated her, her body has a better chance to repair.

She I have had severe attacks before, one must of been gallbladder. This was all in Jacksonville. I had cooked a pork shoulder with crispy skin, and eat the whole skin that evening. It was a lot, well I became so very sick, it was coming up all night. No more of such dish ever since.
Another time was when we took my niece who lives in North Carolina to a Brazilian Barbecue and I over eat their grilled Pineapple. It’s grilled with sugar and cinnamon, delicious. That too can’t have anymore.
So good to hear good news about your cousin. Sending prayers for her continued recovery.
