Betty White is the 17th. I worked with Ethel Merman at the Philharmonic and it
was such a special evening Ethel can belt out a song. ✨I was a mere baby but I
am so glad I had the chance to work with her and others. ✨

Looks like a few of the cruise lines are cancelling for the month of January. The ones I know are Holland America, MCA, and I think one other. Not sure of the airlines.

Good Afternoon Sheba, well the temperature is starting down words. Today was only 68 and tonight around 45. We did get a high pollen alert of Cedar, Juniper and Maple.
I see you are getting some ole man winter temperature and he brings snow.
Fried fish for dinner, hubby is grabbing it on his way home. Yesterday I started the sides for today’s dinner. I cut up carrots, broccoli, onions and peppers. Today I just have to cook them. Also I started cooking sweet potatoes, on the stove now to make some mashed sweet potatoes.
Thank you for that lovely songs from Robert Palmer, I enjoyed it.

As I type this, it is a sunny day on the Gulf with the temperature at a cool 68. No A/C needed. Temps will be in the 50s tonight and the 40s next week. Cold front with wind and rain on Sunday.

I’m trying to get the shelves in for all the towels, but the holes are not punched correctly. GEEZ…..

Yep, today is Trivia. What happened to the week???? Hubby is sleeping. Both our backs are giving us a problem. I surmise the weather change has a great deal to do with it. Looking forward to the rain which means no sinus problems. The plants can use the water as well.

I surmise the spoonbill is somewhere either South or has headed to the Caribbean. It is too cool for them at this time of year. They love the heat. He/she will return in April or May.

I found some real good info on my Eustachian Tube problem. Surgery is not out of the question, however, a tube is inserted into the area to relieve the pressure. The bad news is that it tends to fall out within days or weeks and the procedure has to be done all over again. The other side is a diet which means no dairy products. They also have a recipe for a poultice which goes behind the ear and does drain the tube. Staying away from the dairy believe it or not, has definitely helped. I can now listen to the telly without raising the volume and the phone as well. Just waiting for the other side to pop back in place. I will definitely try hearing aids as well even though the ENT felt they would not work.
