Good Evening Oodie, so good to hear from you. The pollen here in Florida is relentless. In Jacksonville that yellow thick pollen from trees would be all over the cars in the driveway, patio furniture, mail boxes.
Down here is a bit different but nevertheless still just as much damage to the sinuses.
I do hope you and your husband will be able to locate his medical cards and driver’s license. However you could get a duplicate here if Florida, I think you can do all on line. And for the medical cards, if it’s for the vaccine shots they have that on the system if one loose the card. And for his insurance , call the company asking them to send extras.
I don’t know how these weeks are flying by one after another. I know the older one gets the faster time goes by. Please take good care of yourself Oodie, it’s easy to overlook oneself when taking care of another person in the family.

Good Evening Sheba, so good to hear your family members are doing well. When the sun is out and shining the spirit in us sparkle. I am glad you have sunshine. I keep seeing in the news how the North and Midwest is getting a cold front with temperatures very low and many inches of snow. My back is getting better by each day. I took the muscle relaxant twice on two nights, it makes me too sleepy through out the next day. I don’t care for that feeling.
Yes this week has gone by and Monday is a Holiday, hubby is off.
Sheba, how about some Robert Palmer. He was such a handsome man, very classy. I still enjoy his music.

THEN GIVES ME HIS GIFT LIST FOR HIS BIRTHDAY OR XMAS .WHOLE FAMILY HAS COVID IN MARYLAND . ALL ARE VACCED. I HOPE IT ALL STOPS SOON HUBBY AND I HAVE NOT GOTTEN YET .

Good afternoon to you. Glad Oz is sunny and warmer.🌞 Predictions are for the ‘burgh to get a snow storm Sunday night into Monday.❄❄ I think Oz may get some of this Saturday. Husband started up the snow blower for the first time today to make sure it’s ready.

BIL went back in the hospital yesterday.😥 He now has an ulcer, they will give him medicine for that. Will probably be there a few more days to see if his numbers remain normal. On a four hour magnesium dose today. One thing after another, not good. SIL has been through the wringer.

Orange roughy and a veggie for dinner tonight. I think I ate everything sweet I had in the house today, yikes!😲 Have a calm evening, I will BTW – bring the wine!🍷 Sending hugs🤗to you and Poppy.

A good, sunny afternoon to you. I am fine. Slept the day away yesterday because of sinus meds. It is definitely sinus. I surmise the sap is running in the trees nearby and the mowing doesn’t help either. Thank you for your concern. It is well appreciated.

Cannot believe that tomorrow is Friday. Where this week went is anyone’s guess. I hope your back is better. That was my other problem yesterday and I believe it’s because of another cold front. I begin to feel the pains when the storm system is about 1200 miles away. When I cannot move, it means the storm is just about to hit. Hubby is the same way. Same thing occurs when we are on Cape because our island juts out to sea. It is really nice on the Gulf coast. But, I have to admit that the sinuses are worse here than in the North. There is no respite.

I have put off getting the booster because hubby needs to find his medical cards and driver’s license. In a few days if he hasn’t looked I will be making an appointment for next week and go alone. Right now, he is sound asleep. Well, back to the doldrums of housework. I just wanted to let you know that I’m OK.

Life’s Natural Rhythm

Slowing down and listening to your own natural rhythm can quickly connect you to the Universe.

Nature’s natural rhythms orchestrate when day turns to night, when flowers must bloom, and provides the cue for when it is time for red and brown leaves to fall from trees. As human beings, our own inner rhythm is attuned to this universal sense of timing. Guided by the rising and setting of the sun, changes in temperature, and our own internal rhythm, we know when it is time to sleep, eat, or be active. While our minds and spirits are free to focus on other pursuits, our breath and our heartbeat are always there to remind us of life’s pulsing rhythm that moves within and around us.

Moving to this rhythm, we know when it is time to stop working and when to rest. Pushing our bodies to work beyond their natural rhythm diminishes our ability to renew and recharge. A feeling much like jet lag lets us know when we’ve overridden our own natural rhythm. When we feel the frantic calls of all we want to accomplish impelling us to move faster than is natural for us, we may want to breathe deeply instead and look at nature moving to its own organic timing: birds flying south, leaves shedding, or snow falling. A walk in nature can also let us re-attune is to her organic rhythm, while allowing us to move back in time with our own. When we move to our natural rhythm, we can achieve all we need to do with less effort.

We may even notice that our soul moves to its own internal, natural rhythm — especially when it comes to our personal evolution. Comparing ourselves to others is unnecessary. Our best guide is to move to our own internal timing, while keeping time with the rhythm of nature.
