Sorry to hear about your niece. Fever being gone is a good thing. Taste and smell will return. May take a few days to a few months, but have patience. Soup was my savior. You may not have the taste buds, but it felt good on the way down. It’s what it does to your system afterwards that I don’t particularly like.

Poppy may even pretend to have taken the meds. My pooch would hide the pills. That’s when I learned how to do it manually by opening jaw and gently put it near the back of the throat. Of course you had to close the jaw and wait for the swallowing. Your way is more humane.

We are fine. I had my hair done today and it looks beautiful. I’m going to a new place since the person I was using moved away. Hubby went for his hair cut, but the place now requires an appointment and he forgot to take the phone number. Means a trip tomorrow. No problem, it’s close to the house.

Our summer like weather continues tomorrow. Temp will be between 90-95 with humidity. We will go out in the morning before the heat takes over, that is, if hubby is able to drive. Yep, he had another fall today. This time in the afternoon. He landed on his hand. It isn’t swollen, but does cause pain. And, just in time, I have the name of an orthopedist. As luck would have it, the group is here and up North. May be able to get things started here and will conclude at our other homes. To prevent any additional problems will put extra pillows down I really need to finish the other areas so I can tackle the MB.

I decided to redo all the cabinets in the kitchen. More work, but, hubby forgets where things go. So, will start from scratch and go through everything again. The dishes, glassware and utensils are all over the place. Nothing is together. It’s a good time to do this. No rest for the weary. Hope to be in the MB by Thursday/Friday. No more clutter is our new motto. I’m on a roll.

Good evening wishing your hubby very safe travels. Niece is resting and I am going to
ask her later or in the morning how this happened. This is my niece first year of high
school and it has been remote.

I like the peanut idea for giving medicine I may try that too. 🤣Keep Jake close by.

I have had many days like that Texas weather depending where it is in the State is somewhat
like OZ. I am glad the fur babies are safe. I would have been let’s just say a little nervous
about all that lightning. Thank you for thinking of my Niece she is resting and doing alright
for now. 😘💕I am so glad my mom who will be 80 years old soon has her two vaccines. 😘💕

I know a certain day is coming up. I promise you will be in my prayers as I have one

I may miss a post if I go too fast. 🤣Thank you for your thoughts of my niece she is resting
comfortably now so far so good. I am worried about my brother that is is baby girl. I will
come up with something cool for you and you are still young. Great you have been married
