Quiet Storm
Song by Smokey Robinson

Soft and warm a quiet storm
Quiet as when flowers talk at break of dawn,
Break of dawn
A power source of tender force generating, radiating
Turn me on
Turn them on
You short-circuit all my nerves
Promising electric things
You touch me and suddenly there’s rainbow rings
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Oh, blow baby
Windy sigh, weaken my
Butterfly caught up in a hurricane,
Hurricane
Lucky me, I’m better free
Suddenly I’m caught up in your somber rain
Shower me with your sweet love
I will bathe in every drop
Through all the seasons let it pour and never stop
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Through my life
Through my life
Through my life
Blow baby
Blow baby
Blow baby
Shower me with your sweet love
Your sweet love
I will bathe in every drop
Through all the seasons let it pour and never stop
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Through my life
Through my life
Blow baby
Blow baby
Through my life
Blow baby
Blow baby
Quiet storm, blowing through my life
Blowing through my life
Blow baby
Blow baby
Turn me on
Blow baby
Blow baby
Quiet storm, blowin’ through my life, through my life
You’re just like a quiet storm, blowin’ through my life
Blow baby, blow baby

The Tracks of My Tears
Song by The Miracles

People say I’m the life of the party
Because I tell a joke or two
Although I might be laughing loud and hearty
Deep inside I’m blue
So take a good look at my face
You’ll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer, it’s easy to trace
The tracks of my tears
I need you, need you
Since you left me if you see me with another girl
Seeming like I’m having fun
Although she may be cute
She’s just a substitute
Because you’re the permanent one
So take a good look at my face
You’ll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer, it’s easy to trace
The tracks of my tears
I need you, need you
Outside I’m masquerading
Inside my hope is fading
Just a clown oh yeah
Since you put me down
My smile is my make up
I wear since my break up with you
So take a good look at my face
You’ll see my smile looks out of place
If you look closer, it’s easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Being With You
Song by Smokey Robinson

I don’t care what they think about me and
I don’t care what they say
I don’t care what they think, if you’re leaving
I’m gonna beg you to stay
I don’t care if they start to avoid me
I don’t care what they do
I don’t care about anything else
But being with you, being with you
Honey don’t go, don’t leave this scene
Be out of the picture and off of the screen
Don’t let them say “we told you so”
They tell me you’ll love me and then let me go
I’ve heard the warning voice
From friends and my relations
They tell me all about your heart-break reputation
I don’t care what they think about me and
I don’t care what they say, no
I don’t care what they think, if you’re leaving
I’m gonna beg you to stay
I don’t care if they start to avoid me
I don’t care what they do
I don’t care about anything else
But being with you, being with you
People can change, they always do
Haven’t they noticed the changes in you?
Or can it be, that like love I am blind?
Do I want it so much ’til it’s all in my mind?
One thing I know for sure
Is really really real
I never felt before the way you make me feel
I don’t care what they think about me and
I don’t care what they say
I don’t care what they think, if you’re leaving
I’m gonna beg you to stay
I don’t care if they start to avoid me
I don’t care what they do
I don’t care about anything else
But being with you, being with you
Being with you
Being with you
I don’t care about anything else
But being with you, being with you
I wanna be with you
I don’t care if they start to avoid me

Good afternoon to you in Oz. We have a lovely day today but looks like rain chances tomorrow and through the weekend.🌞🌧

You are such a sweet, caring aunt and I’m sure your nieces and nephews appreciate you.💖🌹 Would you like to be part of my family, too? I understand how you feel because I am the same way with my golfing nieces.

Liking my alone time. Did my errands and enjoying the sun on the deck.😊 Mr. Jake is wide awake today and barking at every bird, squirrel and person. He’s probably trying to send Poppy a message in the wind.🌀 So, so glad he is doing well. I think I will make a tea and save your drink for this evening with the hockey game.☕🥂

Miracles Each Day

By noticing how small things can fill our days with delight, we are more likely to experience the wonder of living

They are the everyday aspects of our lives that bring us the most joy, even if at first it may seem natural to expect our feelings of happiness to come from the larger events in our lives. By noticing how small things can fill our days with delight, we are more likely to experience the wonder of living. Once we take the time to look around and witness the beauty, kindness, and laughter that envelop us, what may seem like the ordinariness of the everyday becomes filled with the extraordinary detail of each individual moment. If we bring this sense of awareness to our lives for even a few minutes each day, we will begin to see just how blessed we truly are.

Beholding the joy that surrounds us may initially seem easy, but for some it can take a conscious effort to make it a part of a daily routine. When you awake in the morning and set the intention to notice more joy in the world, watch how your day and, eventually, your life are filled with more joy. The more we do this the more apt we will be to notice the sounds of children laughing or the sparkle of dewdrops on a flower petal. Allow this joy to fill your heart fully, and from there it will naturally expand to your entire body and then spread to others, giving them joy as well.

Taking in the small joys of each day expands our feeling of being connected with the world, especially once we become more attuned to them. With each passing day, we will find that these small delights, which bring a deeper level of appreciation for everything the universe has given to our lives, are miracles. 😎😘💕
